Yeah cleared that too. I ran through the usual fixes. Even downgraded store to the last 3. Whatever version tried to log in and nada. Then reinstalled the latest apk. Still no go

Anyone else get FC's (and I mean every single time) when they just hit the PM tab in the app? I don't remember having this issue before so I thought it might be relative to the HOX.

I'm using tapatalk, from which the XDA app is based, and I haven't had any such issues. Have you tried clearing data and cache.

Just tried clearing the cache and it didn't change anything. The PM's start to load and then it freezes and FCs.

Go to settings/apps and clear the app data and cache and then uninstall, reboot, and reinstall app and you should be fine.

I have been having the same problems. I attempted to post in the xda app specific thread but then the xda app decided it wasn't going to let me post anything from the app. Dpo you think it is an app specific problem or one related to our HOX?

To see if there was a outage....nothing. see no data. What has gone wrong? It only happened after unlocking bootloader and rooting

I think because you unlocked bootloader so all (phone data and settings) were deleted which include the apn.so recreate the apn(access point name)
You should also try removing your SIM for 5 minutes then re-insert it.

Sent from my One X using xda app-developers app
All mods requires you to have an unlocked BL, and custom recovery, which requires root. Please read up more, and use the search function. that would help you a lot. Not a lot of people will be as nice to you if you ask this kinds of questions on a forum for folks with tinkered phones. Don't get me wrong, this isn't a personal attack, its more a warning for your sake.

Hello all. I'm look for help getting the WiFi tethering working on my phone. I don't know if just didn't install the tethering when I initially installed or if it just isn't working. Do I have any options as far as getting the tethering working without re-installing? Would someone be able to to create a flashable zip? I would appreciate any help offered. Thanks

I think you might want to describe your problems first, what's not working? I'm on cleanrom 5 and tethering works fine ....
WiFi tether hack is not working. When I try it says to contact AT&T

I just did a dirty install (no wiping of caches or anything) and chose the same options as before or it will remove things. And I chose the WiFi tether and I did not choose the AT&T icons. Hope that helps

I am running kickdroidXL on my at&t hock, and everytime I try installing Elemental-x, I can't not boot past HTC's splash screen. I've tried all default settings, and none work. I'm currently on whatever firmware the 3.18 ruu comes with.
Sent from my HTC One XL using xda app-developers app
Also I'm unlocked, s-off, super-cid, and have official twrp 2.3.3.0 recovery
Sent from my HTC One XL using xda app-developers app
Is there a reason you didn't post this in the Elemental thread instead of creating a new thread? Which build of Kickdroid? Which build of Elemental? Have you read the Kickdroid thread regarding the steps you need to take to stop signal problems and reboots?
Sent from my Evita
Latest version of both. I posted here as you're not supposed to post questions in the dev thread as it clutters up the thread. I posted here because it is help and troubleshooting, which I need help with.
Sent from my HTC One XL using xda app-developers app
And I don't have any issues on rebooting or signal dropping.
Sent from my HTC One XL using xda app-developers app
Interesting, you'd be the first person to not experience signal loss on a Sense 5 ROM without upgrading your firmware. You could try updating your TWRP to the 2.6 version, see if that helps.
Sent from my Evita

As I do not pay for phone service. No calling or texting. Only using WiFi to call or text.

If I can chime in here. It looks like he's not even able to fully boot into the ROM after installing the kernel. I haven't used Elemental before. Does it have an aroma installer with different setting options?
Also looks by not having service he means that he is only using the phone via WiFi for apps and such.
