( xperia arc) update failed = brick?!

Hi!
I was updating my arc to the latest android software (4.1....) but then PC companion said that update failed, so i unplugged my arc and when i tried to turn it on, it didn't work. it just vibrated then nothing, no logo,.. nothing. i never unlocked my arc. so could some please give me a detailed instruction on what to do? thanks!

Try too reupdate it again. Or get it tho a sony service center

[Q] Problem with ICS xdark experia play

Hi
i am trying to flash a ICS xdark v2 mod to my xperia play... after looong, long fight i di it, i have installed a rom by fastboot menu, instalation went all ok, everything was loaded (apps like facebook, 3d camra itd) ... but after installation finishet and rebot phone... my play can not load the rom... it is just showing the "sony erricso" screen for few sec, then turn off and then turn back on again showing onli "sony erricson" screen... and the same thing all the time whats is wrong, what i did wrong ?
any sugestions?
(ps. sorry for my english... )

Try booting into recovery, wiping and reflashing. If that doesn't work try to dl file again.

yeah, i did as u said... but it did not work....
anything else i could do ?

cannot install xdark ics v2 for myxperia play
can someone help me too,i already unlock bootloader and root my phone but when i want to install xdark ics v2 for my play,its stuck at se logo,my baseband is 42,i hope someone will reply my message.. thank you..

[Q] Phone won't boot up after installing cyanogenmod 10!

I installed cm10 in my Sony Xperia Tipo, done everything correctly, but now I can't boot up my phone, and I can't go to fastboot mode to flash the default firmware. When I try to boot up, sometimes it does nothing, and sometimes it vibrates, but still nothing Any solutions?

Press volume down while plygging in the usb cable (green led)and restore stock firmware using flashtool.If you arent able to enter flash mode,i guess it's a hard brick

I was finally able to go to flash mode, after 100 tries Thanks anyway bro

always can repair it...
u always can unbrick your phone...unless fota brick caused by unsucessful unlocking bootloader officially ways.
let me know if this is wrong i still noob.
send from XPERIA NEO V ICS 6 times bricked n unbricked hehe
anyway...what cyanogenmod 10 funtion..??i hve read about it but still dont get wat it mean...

i have recenly update my phone in cm10 and today he automaticly starts updating. i stop that and because he all the time reboots.i instal again cm 10. and know he wont start and just see the sign of cm od screen please help. what should i do ???

i solve that know i have another problem i lock my phone andi the ruu file that i download inst proper to my phone i saw the ota but i can put on my sd card because i lock my phone i tried to unlock but i gives me a lot of error at the edn after enter my unlock_code.bin.please help to solve this

Flash the stock Rom..it will bypass the security...

can you please state the steps in restoring stock firmware using flashtool???i have a flashtool but i am not very familiarize in using it yet...i have the same situation with my xperia miro that can't boot after trying to install diff. ROM.....pplease help.....please?? im begging you so much.....

[Q] LG P500, bricked AGAIN!

Ok, hello guys, Kevin here. I have a huge problem here. I rooted my friends phone a few days ago, and he installed a custom font on ROM Toolbox.
After he did that, he rebooted his phone, and then it was stuck in LG logo. He gave the phone to me, cuz I am the only one in our school that knows about Android phones, I have unbricked lots of phones (Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini, Samsung Galaxy Gio, Huawei Ideos X5 etc.). But this one ... I have tried KDZ, LG Update Tool, and lots of other stuff, but nothing doesen't work, nothing I tell ya! The phone is soft-bricked, so no panic guys, can u tell me how to unbrick this blazing stupid phone.The hard-reset won't work, and he did not have recovery on his phone yet, and the (Power button + Volume UP/DOWN + Home button) won't work. Please if u try to help, I don't want that KDZ junk, tried it -.- No work ...

[Q] My Xperia E[Single Sim] Bricked.

I just rooted my Sony Xperia E and installed a font using "font changer",mobile then went through a reboot and now it is stuck at the animation[after the sony logo],please help.
I would be satisfied with my un-rooted and valid warranty.Help please.

you dont bricked tour phone....you got a bootloop... reflash your rom....

I'm sorry,I didn't get you?

Ok. Get update service from sony. Then run update service. Remember, this will only work on locked bootloader.

The update thing worked like a charm,thanks a lot.

Since you have recovered from your brick, you can make your own .ftf just in case if this ever happen again. Using Update Service will always require internet access but flashtool runs in offline mode. You can make either a clean, untouched, unrooted .ftf, or pre-root that new .ftf. Just search the guides.
