Ok, hello guys, Kevin here. I have a huge problem here. I rooted my friends phone a few days ago, and he installed a custom font on ROM Toolbox.
After he did that, he rebooted his phone, and then it was stuck in LG logo. He gave the phone to me, cuz I am the only one in our school that knows about Android phones, I have unbricked lots of phones (Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini, Samsung Galaxy Gio, Huawei Ideos X5 etc.). But this one ... I have tried KDZ, LG Update Tool, and lots of other stuff, but nothing doesen't work, nothing I tell ya! The phone is soft-bricked, so no panic guys, can u tell me how to unbrick this blazing stupid phone.The hard-reset won't work, and he did not have recovery on his phone yet, and the (Power button + Volume UP/DOWN + Home button) won't work. Please if u try to help, I don't want that KDZ junk, tried it -.- No work ...

I have the same situation of your. This is the process I did:
- flash CWM recovery
- Nandroid backup
- copy custom rom (atomic v6) to internal sd
- flash it in recovery mode
- the process was successed and I can boot the device
- (My first fault is I haven't rooted my device yet)
The device work great and smooth (haven't rooted too). Later, Its my second fault that I didn't notice the difference of baseband (I'm in Thailand), so it hadn't thai language and I want to restore to the stock rom. I turned off the device and... Big headache come across to me! The screen stay on "samsung" logo for long time and it blink when I press power button. So i remove battery about 5 minutes and reinsert. Nothing happen!! I cant do anything. Can someone help him and me???:crying:
Have you guys tried odin yet?
I think it is compatible because my friend messes up too like that........download the stock firmware, put phone in download mode, open odin, connect too pc and make sure you set anything up right ( android sdk needed)

For you i suggest you install a zip flashable "near" stock ROM and when the phone respons then put it back with odin and stock ROM
( for odin you need: android sdk)

Go to samsung service station; dnt say anything(root.cwm). Dead in pocket(also same problem for me...in v6).
Dont worry ...its normal in flashing

i don't had any option at that time
i submitted phone to Service Center
they took 10 days to change its motherboard
if it happens again in future then use USB JIG as soon as possible after bricking to get any hope back:fingers-crossed:

I really love this phone but as time pass after taking this phone m trying for searching custom roms for our cell just like custom rom ics, jellybean etc.
But i didnt get anyone of it which works on our cell.
& then i realise there r no more roms available for our cell excepting that three roms atomic rom , alacritous &

Sorry buddy...
But on net u will get results for unbrick galaxy ace but didnt get for ace plus.
Its sad thing but our smartphone is not populer one hence we didnt get accurate result for that.
But my suggestion is if u can handle cwm or download mod then try to flashing ur smartphone.
Thats d last way.

There is no way to repair hard brick of ace plus
If you are in warranty you can go to service center and can get mother board replacement
I have got replacement 2 times so there is no need to worry

Hard brick... Omg there is not way to unbrick that ...u can recover ur device if it is softbricked or bootlooper...
Its hard brick so u have to go to care centre of samsung..and they will charge u heavily

How can a phone boot into anything if it is bricked? Your phone could still be revived.

I installed ROM manager,
I flashed CWM to flash CM 7.2
When it rebooted, this happpens.
now connected to USB and processing commands
Rom manager is the biggest culprit. if it is complete blank then it means your phone is hard bricked the boot manager needs repairing. For that I can give you an advice
First of all go to jtag box website
Search for dealer of jtag box in your region on that site
Take his contact detail and he will repair your boot manager. On the jtag box it is just 2 hours work.
But one thing is that boot repairing affects battery performance.
But that's not a big deal as compare to phone resurrection

Getting unbricked
I went down the same path with Rom manager. I lost usb connections to PC etc. I was able to recover by getting phone into Download mode, then using Kies let it install usb drivers. Once there I used one of the odin One Click stock roms to get back to Ginderbread. Here's a good link to stock roms:

I've got one problem.When I upgraded my phone to ROM 4 su760..I found a lot of problems.And I'm so sorry
Unfortunately I can not go back to my original rom anything..
The phone is switched off automatically after Dangryd ie after LG logo was anything that I did, but please do not point back to the original ROM
But this problem does not exist in the ROM 4..Just not reset automatically turns off
Please help me return to the original ROM

What have you tried? And what exactly did you flashed i dont know what is rom 4
Give more details so someone could help you or read (thats what you should actually do) to see if u can fix that

Yes dear friend .. I did all the steps but still not right:crying:
After I flash the recovery .. I'm with LG Flash Tools and restart the phone after a Factory Reset the LG logo then turns off automatically.
I open the program fast boot and fast boot after installing all the steps, I reset the phone but it still turns off automatically after LG logo
Please use Google translate and second ..if u flashed fast boot files correctly the phone wont turn off it shouldn't ...so u have a problem with flasing

I installed cm10 in my Sony Xperia Tipo, done everything correctly, but now I can't boot up my phone, and I can't go to fastboot mode to flash the default firmware. When I try to boot up, sometimes it does nothing, and sometimes it vibrates, but still nothing Any solutions?

always can repair it...
u always can unbrick your phone...unless fota brick caused by unsucessful unlocking bootloader officially ways.
let me know if this is wrong i still noob.

i solve that know i have another problem i lock my phone andi the ruu file that i download inst proper to my phone i saw the ota but i can put on my sd card because i lock my phone i tried to unlock but i gives me a lot of error at the edn after enter my unlock_code.bin.please help to solve this

Hi Guys,
Recently I Had Flashed My Phone To ADV ROM v1.4[http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2309415] For My Sony Xperia J!
The ROM Has Got Some Bugs And Hence I Want To Get Back To My Stock JB Rom.
The Bugs Are-
1)Phone Force Closes..So You Cant Call Any One By Manually Writing Number In The Phone App.
2)Uninstalling Any App Shows Some Error!
P.S-I've Got No backup! Please Help Me!
Also, When I try To flash The JB ftf on The Phone It Shows Device Disconnected Although The Phone Shows Green Light Initially!
The ftf Was Working Perfect When I Upgraded From ICS to JB(using the ftf).
Please Help Me out!
And remember That I Have Got No Backup!
Please Send Me The ZIP file Of Official JB So that I Can Flash It In CWM! Or Please Provide Any Other Alternate Method.

As i am new to xda but i am no noob ..you can go tp sony official website and repair your software...then you can root your phone again and flash roms you like..

I have use this metho many time .............and this is the only method you can use now........as you have no backup....if you get your phone done ....first backup it.....

You can use a recovery tool from sony to return your phone to stock. You can find the tool from sony official website, just download and install the necessary usb drivers and with original cable and internet connection you can return the phone to the latest stock rom available for the phone.
This always work. I have tried this with my lg nitro hd(P930) and Optimus 3D.
