[SOLVED] Serious help please :( I think I bricked my Xperia Tipo - Sony Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E

Hi I don't know what to do anymore :S I'm pretty scared........
I can enter the CWM recovery, but when I turn it on 'normally' a pink light appears on top right corner (and the 3 buttons under glass are colored white). After a little they turn off. Then the green light stays on when I have cable connected. When I pull it out, it goes off.
1. My CWM is v6.0.2.8
2. Whenever I try to mount USB storage, my PC won't react anymore
3. I tried several different roms, the USB storage problem started when I tried Paradox V1 rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2209026)
* In this mod's installation instructions it said "NOTE-- If CWM asks to Disable Recovery flash at the time U click on reboot than Scroll down and press Go back. Remember it or you will get com.android.media stopped working."
4. I have accidentally clicked on "Disable Recovery flash" :S am I really screwed?
5. I only have 1 stock rom on the phone right now "Gimlo Stock Firmware v0.2 for Tipo" (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2123835)
Can I do anything to save this phone? Please somebody help me out, I am constantly checking this thread and I hope someone finds time to reply :S
Thanks

Hi I'm new to this, can you please explain how do I exactly flash a kernel or stock? And one that is compatible for Tipo :S I'm not sure which one to pick..? Is there a thread I should be looking into because I really have no idea, I'm searching like crazy right now!
And yes I can enter fastboot or flashmode, I really need to get this phone back to normal
Thanks

Now I found this, and I am downloading "GENERIC 11.0.A.4.22" FTF firmware. Do I need any specific driver installed for Flashtool? Or Flashboot/Flashmode drivers are enough (cause I have them installed only)?

power off your phone, tap vol + and plug in usb...if you see a blue led then you are in fastboot...when you tap vol - and plug in usb if you see a green led then you are in flashmode....
fastboot is for flashing kernels and flashmode for flashing stock.ftf etc...
if you understand this download flashtool (google it)...when you done it select vergeance kernel*** from original android development or stock.ftf from general section...if you flash kernel go to cwm qbd reflash the rom....if you flash stock.ftf then you have the original rom (which you phone had when you bought it)

Thank you so much for being very assisting. If I want to install that generic kernel do I have to tick "exclude kernel" inside Flashtool? Or not and just click "ok"?
I made a screenshot of what I am talking about
http://i.imgur.com/1elSjqf.jpg

Inside flash tool I get errors, I tried to do this both with/without 'exclude kernel' I was reading from another tutorial ._. but it isn't working?

Anyone?
I'll just say one more time, I CAN'T mount USB Storage to place new roms on it. When I mount USB storage phone won't show up in my PC as it used to.
I'm in deep trouble I have a feeling

I installed the "world" rom instead of generic. Just when I did it as you normally would with Flash Tool, the flashing instantly begun and no errors were given. It seems my root and cwm are gone too, but that's fine . I have only rooted my own st27i in past, and it was my only experience I just know the very basics (like install cwm, bootloader, root). But I failed at BACKING UP inside CWM (I didn't do it..) for this phone a lesson learned. The worst part was that this Tipo was not my own phone, but friend's. And she was curious about the root so I told her that I'll try, I didn't claim I'm some expert and I warned her about bricking lol .
Was this phone actually bricked? I still don't know the answer, but it was scary. Either way, it was a painful and good experience cause if I would ever try another rom on my own phone I would always do backup!
Thanks a Bunch Xrhstospro, these forums need more helpful people like you. I don't really know what would I have done without your help!!!!

There is no such thing as 'download mode' in Tipo, you probably mean flash mode.
Have you downloaded the FlashTool yet?
If you wanna flash ur phone, u need FlashTool, then load up the files (be sure to have a proper loader.sin loaded into ur ftf file (most ftf files do have a proper one)). then when files are loaded, hold ur volume-down button as u plug the USB cable in ur phone (must already be plugged into PC before!), it will show a blue led, which means it's in flashmode. Your FlashTool will probably automatically start the loaded sin files inside the ftf and automatically flash it to ur phone.

There IS a clear bass mod available for Tipo. But walkman won't work yet.
Here is a link to clear bass mod but kurotsugi, that's all sound enhancements there are available for Tipo as of yet. Walkman hasn't been ported, MIGHT be ported in the future, but I'm not sure. Beats will probably never get a 'real good' port, as it uses way different sound libs than Tipo does.
Thanx will wait for walkman

OK, here we go:
1. Download Flashtool and install it.

2. Download a rootable firmware from here:

3. Copy the firmware into the Flashtool\firmwares folder
4. Flash like the standard way.
5. root using this tool:

i think you can install tipo drivers by going into settings ->development and check 'debugging mode'. After, connect to pc via usb and drivers should start installing
Actually drivers come in the flashtool package. After installing open c/flashtool/drivers (I'd you installed here). Then install the last 2 options (flashnode and fastboot)
which option i have to select during flash '' flash mode or fastbootmode''

If you're flashing firmware, always 'flashmode'.
The name is pretty self-explanatory. Flashing > Flashmode.
is there any way to revive from hardbrick
Only a Sony engineer or someone who knows a real lot about electronics in such a mobile can fix hard brick. Hard brick means that hardware is probably broken.
But does your phone show any sights of life? Like does the led work when you plug in the charger. Then your phone is probably not hard bricked.

Maybe try to "force" to install driver trough the Device Manager in Windows. I have Win 7 64-bit and it just would't autoinstall my device in fastboot mode. I downloaded the driver, found my device in Device Manager and right clicked and choosed Update Driver. Then I choosed the folder where I had saved the downloaded driver

I have a Sony Xperia Tipo dual (ST21i2) Android smartphone which I tried to instal CyanogenMod 10 on. I managed to unlock the device in fastboot mode (according to instruction on Sony webside) and tried to flash it, but I think that I didn't place all the right files in the right folders for flashing because according to the instruction the device should reboot after flashing, but it didn't. I waited for 15-20 minutes and nothing happened so I disconnected the device from my PC. Now the when try to turn on the device the led flashes red 3 timed, then a short pause and then again 3 red flashes and so on it loops forever. So it seems that it is not completely dead yet. When I connect the device to my computer it is not recognized. In fact, Windows does not see it at all so I can not use Sony Flash Tool. Can anyone help my how to finish te installation of CM10 on my device? I have understood that you can force Xperia Tipo to install system form SDcard. If it is true how do I do that? Which files should be put on the card and how to force boot from the SDcard?

Thanx, Before this issue with my Xperia L I was using PC companion and I guess this already installed drivers but now neither PC companion/SUS nor flash is detecting my phone. I am using windows 8 currently but I also tried on windows 7 to install the drivers but no luck. My friend suggested that I need a boot loader as all the data in my Xperia L has been washed out due to bad flashing. In my country no boot loader device available for Sony Xperia 2013 models. Any alternate solutions?
Bootloader..?!! I think you don't have any kernel in your phone currently that's why it isn't recognizing your phone by the PC.. Try using SUS on Windows 7..make sure your driver's are installed properly.. Either through SUS or Flashtool..
If your phone is Not Recognized by Flashtool that means you don't have Required Drivers Installed. Use the Below method to Solve this Problem.
Open the folder /Flashtool/drivers & Install "ggsetup-2.2.0.11".
If Still after the Above Process Flashtool doesn't Recognize your Phone. Use this Method.
Open the /Flashtool/driver folder & Extract the "XXX_ADB_Driver.zip" anywhere on your PC/Mac/Linux. [ This Zip corresponds to your Phone Model. ]
Now Open "Device Manager" on your PC/Mac/Linux & find the device which is with an Exclamation mark on it. [ Make sure your phone is Connected to the PC ]
Right Click on that Device & Choose Update Driver.
Choose to find the Driver Manually.
Now Browse to the Folder where to have Extracted your Phone Model Zip File.
This will Install the Required Drivers on your Computer.
After that Open Flashtool Again & Try to Recognize your Device.
If Still you see any problem reply back for further assistance..
Hit Thanks if I helped you..

Hi pervenkal, try varunpilankar steps, I too faced this issue while flashing my Xperia L for the first time, 7 months ago. But it is most probably driver issue, during that time I tried lots of drivers even the one given with flashtool, but finally drivers from ADT bundle helped me.

The red blinking light sounds like your battery is low, I read about someone who had do e this not long ago. Couldn't boot tinto recovery because they had insufficient charge. Charge your phone on mains power for an hour, and then try flashtool again. But make sure you wipe everything.

Hello Everyone, So i have a Sony Xperia J Unlocked Boot Loader + Custom MIUI Rom, I wanted to go back to stock rom, but when i use flashtool and place my device on flashmode a green LED indicates on my device like usual but on my pc screen it says ' USB Device not Recognized' so now i can't flash stock ftf, is there any other way to get to stock rom or any way to resolve this problem?
(I have a 64-Bit Windows 8.1 Laptop)
First select ftf that you want to flash on Flashtool, wait for pop-up window that tells to connect your phone than connect your phone. If you have drivers installed and disabled drivers verification it should work.
Good Luck

Thank you for your time & for looking into my case, However i've managed to solve the issue, It was due to a fault Data Sync Cable I simply used the one for my S4 and it worked as normal.

Help: Xperia L C2105 dead after flashing an Xperia M Stock rom

Hey guys,
I have an Xperia L C2105 device and it was stuck on the Xperia logo , so i used flashtool to install a stock rom on it ...
until now every thing is right and it finished flashing ... BUT when it finished i realized that i was flashing xperia M stock ROM on it not Xperia L stock ROM , i tried to boot it and it doesn't boot
- no boot.
- no flash mode so i can't re-flash the right ROM
- no fastboot
- no charge sign
- no sign of life except when i pulled out the battery and trying to make it enter to flash mode when i put its cable the light blinks blue for a second and then nothing happend
and the computer tell me it needs an QHSUSB_dload driver
i tried to find that driver for my device and when i found it, the computer said that this driver isn't for this platform
PLZZZ Help
