Well guys, i rooted my gs4 (juamdm). Everything went fine. Two days ago i decided install Wanam and had to flash cwm, since the root didn't installed it. Again everything fine.
I then proceeded to download Wanam, and read on the post about it ,that the 4g was not working after installing it. so i gave up and didn't even started the download.
For my surprise my 4g stopped working! Just by installing the cwm.
To be more precise the 4g still works but for that i need to manually choose it.
If i don't it stays on 3g forever. ...
I have to do that every time i reboot the phone.
I already full wiped the phone but the problem persists.
Any idea what to do guys ?
Maybe a stock Room re flash ?
Thanks

suck to hear your problem. My TmoUS is working fine after S-OFF and perm root. Looking for something to remove all the bloatwares without having to pay right now.
Use titanium backup. My WiFi working fine.

I lost WiFi after root. I restored my stock rom through CWM and will wait till tomorrow to see if any progress has been made on the issue.
My 4g was stuck on until I rebooted.
Update from me: I am now rooted and WiFi is working. First I restored back to my stock rom through CWM Recovery. Then I went and tried root again using the su-2.3.......file and it worked this time. So I suggest downloading the file again and putting it on your SD card and trying that method at least a few times. If it gives an error the first time, just reboot and try again a couple times.
My WiFi-problems were fixed more easily, maybe helpful to some: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=16141623#post16141623
I have had a Nexus S 4G for about 2 months now, and earlier today, the 4G functionality just suddenly stopped working. It was working fine, and the connection dropped, so I went into the settings to reconnect, and now it just stays on "Initializing".
I was running the 8/31 nightly build of CM7 at the time.
I have tried the following, to no avail:
Reboot
Flash a different CM7 build
Update Profile/PRL
Wipe cache/dalvik cache
Nandroid backup, full wipe, flash stock ROM
At first I thought it might be a problem with Sprint, but my sister said 4G works just fine on her Evo, so I'm thinking it's a problem with my phone.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could do to fix this, or should I just return it to Sprint and exchange it? I've had it for less than 90 days so it should still be under warranty.
Is your sister at the same location?

Yes she is.
Based on what you have said, there isn't anything that should have caused 4g to stop working. I would take it to Sprint and see what they say. Unrooted of course

Update on the situation...
In preparation for returning it to Sprint, I "unrooted" it following instructions I found on AndroidCenteral (basically downloading the GRJ22 build images and flashing those via fastboot). Strangely enough, that fixed the issue.
I've now rooted it again and am back on CM7 with no problems. Just to ensure the problem wasn't a file in the backup, I'm reinstalling everything rather than restoring a backup.
Still have no clue what the problem was, but it's working now.

Lol I think you over clocked it on the minimum ... try the minimum at 800m ... or if anything flash a new rom.. its probably the rom itself

Try another (stable) rom? (no development rom)
Wipe everything.
And yes, probably its underclocked/overclocked too high.
I would like to flash a rom but once I turn it on it keeps force closing everything and I am unable to do anything on the phone, It boots into recovery mode just fine though

Good news, you flash your ROM from recovery. Download the package, boot into recovery. Mount the SD card and push or push using adb push. Flash the zip from CWM.
my friend purchased the phone yesterday and he is on the latest Official version (2.3.6) and the phone keeps rebooting!!!
is this normal?? there must a problem!

Wipe data/factory reset from recovery if it's a used phone.
If he just bought it return it... thats easy
If he rooted it and changed the rom -- put it back to stock or put a new rom on it
I personally found that most of my restarts were due to me trying to pull the stock launcher into an unfamiliar rom. Make sure (if you are using Titanium backup) to only load apps not system *unless you are trying to go back to the same rom*
good luck
First check if he overclocked too much or underclocked too much. Put it to normal.
Alternatively you can just flash another rom. Before flashing remember to wipe everything
Goodluck!
So I waited to register to this site till I ran into a road block. I have read and searched and search but to no avail have I come up with a answer. So I come to you fellow Samsung Infuse 4G owners for help. I have successfully rooted my phone with super one click, ran clockwork recovery and installed zeuss's build 6 and my phone runs great. Now here is my issue. My friend liked the way my phone was so he went and got a used one then handed it over to me to do the cool stuff. So I set the phone back to factory deleting everything including user data.... I now have installed the new version of one click and this new phone and it says it works and installed but when I run clockwork the superuser never pops up. Now I have checked The settings and its not the issue. I have since factory reset the phone again deleting user data and superuser was still on the phone. I've tried to remove it like 50 times to no avail until today when it finally went away after I tried again the unroot on superoneclick but after restart and I try to reinstall it, it says its already rooted, so I make it reroot and I still havve Tue same issue. I have tried to clear data and reinstall the packages via the Samsung recovery but it says there is a missing path on the internal SD. So now I'm stuck... its been like this back and forth for 3 days. So I ask for a bit of help as my first post. BTW I'm Dustin I'm 27 and I live in Washington state and I love my swet zeuses builded phone. Thanks in advance
Did you push the cwm recovery file to system/bin and fix the permissions

What can also do is....run these files in cwm install like a ROM no wipes, do this one 1st and install 2nd back to back:
http://db.tt/NUVg4mjr
Then install this one 2nd:

{U.S.M.C.} "Fraternal Brotherhood of the Highest Order"
Odin it to the stock rooted with cwm 2.3.6 and install from from recovery there. What I do

Hi, All
I've been flashing for some time now. but i got a blaze 4g from a friend which was working perfectly till i tried to flash a custom ROM. i got a status 7 error, and the phone hasn't been alright since then. i flash via twrp, but it gets stuck at every boot up (i.e. gets stuck after bootanimation, and "preparing SD card). I restored the backup of the stock rom (gb). but it just also gets stuck at after booting up, the same way! audio not working too. i dont know what i'm doing wrong. ever since, every ROM i flash, does same. please help. i've tried everything i know: odin to stock, flash kernels, and all. any help would be highly appreciated. cm10 was responding well, but anything to do with audio just makes the phone freeze and reboot. i cant make calls, nor receive any' but network signal is there. please help
Have you factory reset after each flash?
from the depths of Sawny TL
yes, i have. even formatted system and all... but still persists.
i just wish @k0nane gets to help me out.
Usually a status 7 means recovery is incorrect for the rom you're flashing. Which twrp are you using?

Why not Odin back to stock and redownload all the materials.
You must've installed a bad zip. (Bad download)
