there are many JB update files available to flash on mmx a110. can anyone tell me which file should i update me phone with? and which method would be best (sp flash tool or cwm recovery) and i want to keep it unrooted like updated from the store 'coz the condition it is in i would be needing to send to the service centre for servicing
Use sp flash tool method.
When u brought the phone did it came with jb if then flash jb v 1.11
Or else if it came with ics then flash ics rom 2.

it came with ics but i can atleast try to fool them thai i got it updated from the svc
and can you please give me a link to the jb v 1.11 for sp tool

You can download the stock jpu tar file which is available in the Android development section and flash it via Odin
Before doing so I recommend you to wipe data,dalvik cache,etc., just to ensure you don't get bootloops
Just reboot your phone normally and it will be factory fresh
If you don't wanna lose data try not wiping data partition but if you do end up in bootloops then you won't have recovery to wipe it

Given how long this device has been around, there are plenty of guides on how to achieve what you want - you just need to search and read.
As a hit though, the Stock ICS ROM was cr4p - it was only really released for developers to modify and build from. If you want ICS then use one of the many custom ROMs on here, but please don't ask which one; read the threads, decide what features you want and then try some of them.

flash stock rom v1 then use framaroot
Post a screenshot of what exactly happens when you use Framaroot.
Screenshot can be taken by pressing the power button and the volume button together.
@ abhimanyu how can he flash a ROM when his phone is not rooted? :S
@archz2 ..... he can flash stock ROM by using sp flash tool..... root not necessary...
search on the forums for the steps...

step1- install CWM by sp Flash tool
step2- update subinary.zip file by CWM recovery
