[Q] TWRP Recovery to OTG USB drive - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727

Hey all,
I have an OTG cable and am able to mount USB drives while the phone is operating normally (jb stock, rooted). However, I'm not sure how to access the USB drive using the latest TWRP for skyrocket. I'm on TWRP 2.5.0.0
TWRP works great, but "external sd" is my microsd card, and internal sd is the built-in memory. I thought mount USB was the way to go, but that just mounts the storage on the PHONE onto a computer.....
Any ideas?

[Q] USB Mass Storage

Is there XOOM setting for seeing Internal Storage and inserted microSD card as SD cards when connected to PC via USB as on smartphones?

Yes. I have my Xoom plugged into my pc right now, and I have access to both the internal storage as well as the external micro sdcard.
@serg675:
there is one difference between mobile and xoom that is xoom is mtp only device.
whereas phone provide for"mass storage" option.
with usb mass storage watcher you can mount sd card(external only) as msc

unlock it when connected to pc, both storage will appear by viewing "My Computer" inside "Portable Devices"
located in Computer\Xoom

[Q] Unable to access USB storage on Nexus S

I have a GT-i9023 Nexus S. Already rooted. Have CWM installed.
Now I am trying to access USB storage to get my files before I install another ROM and it just can't mount USB storage in CWM.
I tried connect my Nexus S via USB cable to my computer, it appears to detect my phone but no USB Mass Storage comes up so I can't access my files using Windows Explorer.
Now my phone has only CWM, no ROM installed.
Is there anyway to access my USB storage so I can backup my files, put a ROM (zip file) into the USB storage and then I can flash it using CWM.
Now I am in CWM.
I go to "mounts and storage - mount /sdcard"
Respond "Error mounting /sdcard"
So I try "mount USB storage"
Respond "E:Unable to write to ums lunfile (No such file or directory)"
What should I do?

Transferring files from internal storage in recovery mode?

Hello, I got some problem booting into the ROM but I want to transfer files from the internal storage to my computer. What can I do? Since in recovery mode, I can only mount the USB mass storage which is the external storage. Thanks.
Which ROM and what phone? What issue do you have with your ROM? Are you rooted?

Unable to mount internal storage

I did a clean flash of Nobel Rom 3.0 which is a cool ROM but since then I am not able to see the internal storage. ES Explorer says its not mounted and when i connect the phone to PC the storage is also not mounted.
I can however see the storage when in TWRP and can also then mount to PC.

SD Card or USB drive not showing in recovery mode

Can anyone shed any light on this? I have tried two micro sd cards and a USB drive on my MTCD_KLD.
The cards and USB are all formatted in FAT32. If I go into settings and look for updates it sees an update available on the cards or the usb drive. If I choose to update the system reboots and when it enters recovery mode it does not mount any of the cards or USB device and so will not run the update. Any ideas?
If I boot straight into recovery the same problem, no cards or drive
I'm pretty sure you have use the GPS sd slot for anything with the recovery.
The USB ports definitely don't work there.
yeah the card isn't recognised in the GPS slot from recovery either.
Is there a size limit on the cards it will see in Recovery? I have only got 64gb cards
I think only work max 32gb sd.
