Since Hyperdrive RLS13 came with Icon Changer Free, I've done some customizing to my home screen. Everything has gone well up to the point where I wanted to change the icon for the 'Apps' icon. There's no such item listed via the Icon Changer Free menus - is there a pretty quick and easy way to change this icon? I'm using the Neon Blue GO Launcher icons if that matters.
I'm also trying to figure out if it's possible to change the icons used for the lock screen. My best guess at this point is that I'd need to pull the apps onto my PC, change the icon there permanently, then re-load them to my phone? Is that correct?
Thanks in advance for any help!
One new thing to add. I removed the icon names with Icon Changer Free, yet when I reboot, all the icon names are back. Any fix for this as well?

helllo.
previously in WM6 i've tray icons - colored battery indicator and commmgr icon in standart in tray.
now i have WM6 6.6.6.666 WWE and these icons are not in standart. i don't have Init_tray.exe in windows originally. now i have downloadet init_tray.exe and created shortcut in startup... after softreset i still dont have this two icons.
the only icon is a ScreenRotate - i've addet it in startup.
any idea with battery indicator in tray? commmgr icon i could create with battery status.
second question: how to hide bottom bar, not hiding task bar. vjtoggletodayiialpha.exe - this hides upper and bottom bar. tray stays, but it deform wallpaper.
thx for help.
using icons or not is 100% an application thing
different roms is missing programs
that use the trey for icons then one can often get
the programs from the old rom which does use the tray

Still using vjay's toggle. Via the registry you can change the pixel size that it shrinks to (the default setting is 4 pixels). Use about 17 for the start bar-
HK local machine\software\vijay555\toggle...
ok, i got this now.
but theres a little problem. i have putted a shortcut to vjay's toggletoday in startup. and after SR there is no tray on bottom. its show for a milisecond and disappear. i think that the problem is in order of running startup apps... first the batterystatus with tray icons, then VJToggleToday - and the tray is gone

There are programs you can use depending on your phone. HTC Custom and Schaps Config Tool both can remove everything from the tray launch.
thank you maevro for the reply..
i am surprised that i missed it

Hi, could you tell me where in Advanced Config Tool should I go in order to do that? I didn't find anything related to that - or, better said, I didn't see....
thank you
Hey,
I hard reset my phone the other day as i messed it up to go to a fresh install of NatF's 4.4
Ever since i ahve an icon in the top bar which looks like a batter with a plug going into it. This is always there and the phone is not even plugged in. How can i get rid of it?, what does it mean? - It was there on my previous install of this rom.
Also, the icons in the programs and settings menus are small, especially the text. I used to get 3 icons to a line but now get 4? - which is normal?
Thanks
Regards,
Neil

Hi Neil,
Not sure about the battery icon in your task bar but the norm is 3 icons per row in Settings and Programs. If you want to change it back to 3, NATF has a custom cab for it in his thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=469450#4
If you want to make the font on the icons bigger, use Schap's Advanced Config and under "User Interface" change: "Icon title font size" default is 6 on NATF's roms.
You're still on 4.4? You know he released 4.6 today.
yeh, I would upgrade but it takes ages to reinstall all my apps and the main thing is setting everything to how I like it! - so many small options hidden everywhere which take ages to alter and fix to my liking
Looking for an app to launch apps/shortcuts from the notification bar.
I have the recent tasks thing on my pull down, and I'm looking for something like that but where I can pick my apps/shortcuts. (IE, pull down the notification bar and one ONE line have 4+ icons of my favorite apps. Slide the bar left & right for more apps).
I don't want a program that I can launch from the notification bar that in turn pops up a folder of icons (Folder Organizer, App Launcher both can do this). That's one click too many.
No home button or hold search either - if I wanted that, I'd go back to Power Strip
Thanks for any help. Having no luck in the market again. I'm starting to think it's simply not do-able or I'd have found it by now.

ToggleBar is the closest I've seen.
Thanks, that's one I have not seen. I like how it's a combination launcher/toggle/contact. Needs some work. Would like to know why we have to do the extra step (pull down bar, launch this app, launch app you actually want to use).
Also suffers from ugly icon on tray (I guess I can modify the apk). Also wonder why you have to have an icon (an invisible square is no help either) - other apps don't need to have something in the bar to be available on the drop down.
Will try this one out.
Currently using Calendar in Status bar Trial which I have set to launch Organized Drawer - but at least the icon is functional (showing the day & date).
Also - noticed an app called ncut, but crashes on my phone, possible gingerbread problem.
I'm trying to get the AOSP battery icon instead of the Sony one. I've tried GravityBox, which works to add the AOSP icon, but Sony's one is still there. I know I can disable it in settings but it still shows on the lock screen and when the notification pane is down. Is there any other way to change/remove Sony's battery icon?
Not Optimal... But it works!
So I am figuring you are trying to do this because you got gravity box and when you apply a battery icon it adds it alongside the stock one but doesn't replace it... So there three easy steps to get rid of it! First of all in the settings search for personalization, system icons and untick battery... this will get rid of the battery in the status bar when it is NOT pulled down; then go to the xposed app and download a module called clean lock screen, activate it and tick the option for the removal of the status bar icons... this will get rid of it in the lock screen BUT it will also remove the gravity box one and the WiFi and data signal icons... and lastly, download a module from the xposed installer called android N-ify, this will add some awesome features like the double-tap recents to go to last applications and yata yata but most important thing is that this will customize your notification and quick toggle panel and it by default hides battery... so reboot and your stock battery should be successfully hidden!! I know your question is kinda old by now but I just got back to stock marshmallow in my z3 and was struggling with this same exact problem and this was the best solution I was able to find for this!
How can I reset all the icons back to their defaults so that I can change them all at once when applying an icon theme?
In the past I changed a few of my icons manually because the icon theme I was using had an icon I didn't particularly like. Now, whenever I change my icon theme it will reskin all my icons except the ones that I manually set. Even if I set them back to their defaults manually they do not reskin when I change the icon pack again. I'm using Nova Launcher and absolutely love it, but I don't want to have to change a bunch of icons manually every time I use a new icon pack just so they match the other icons in the pack and not the one I had previously set.

There is a setting for that in the same menu where you choose an icon pack. You can access it by tapping the three dots in the upper right corner.

Thanks, that worked well. I guess I've never use the Nova app itself for that part of the theming. I always just open the icon pack and apply from there.
