Hello all!
I am not sure what went wrong with my phone, but it is S-OFF Rooted, CWM'd. No matter what lockscreen I choose, where you would choose which shortcuts to pull to ring and where it opens up that particular shortcut.....the phone no longer is avail for me to choose. Anyone know what went wrong or have suggestions? Thank you!!
Reboot into CWM and wipe cache partition and dalvik cache and see if it works.
It happened with the 2.3.4 update -- previously discussed here:

Thank you very much!!! It was quite annoying!! I was about to redo my phone again! You totally saved that from happening!
Happy to be able to help!
I was going to quickly change my rom as the one I was on went all messed up and so I went to clockworkmod, and me being an idiot, I formatted everything. And I mean everything, I had wiped my whole phone and sd card, and as a result if I tried to boot my Phone it just stayed on the White screen with htc in the green letters. I then tried downloading a rom on my computer, transferring it to a sd card, and putting that in my phone. I choose the zip and it says finding package.... Opening package..... Installing package..... Then it says installation aborted... So I am stuck with a phone that has no nandroid backups and no data, what do I do? Please help

if you have a custom recovery installed you should be able to install a ROM without any problem. Maybe you should try a different ROM?
Okay I will try that
Thanks, so much it worked you are a lifesaver. Thought I was going to tell my dad that I had hacked my phone, and now its broken.

1. Punctuation, grammar, and spelling would really help make your post more understandable.
2. What method did you use to root? Have you flashed a custom ROM?

Seriously, punctuation. You don't absolutely need perfect spelling or grammar, but at least break your post into sentences or paragraphs or something.
First, when flashing MIUI, did you full wipe (system, data, cache)? If not, full wipe and reflash. If wifi still doesn't work it could be the ROM. Check by flashing another ROM.
If you're S-Off you cannot and should not unlock your bootloader. Also, if you're S-Off you should have a recovery installed. To check, navigate to recovery in the bootloader with the volume keys and select it with the power button. If a recovery shows up, download a new ROM (other than the one you're trying to use now), clean wipe (system, data, and cache), and flash. I would advise ARHD; it's rock stable and a good way to check that it's software and not hardware. If ARHD's wifi works, your current problem is probably a ROM-specific issue. Use another ROM.
If a recovery doesn't show up you need to flash one by following the section titled "S-Off no recovery" at the bottom of page 9 in the guide in post #7 in the thread linked in my signature.

Exactly like I said, I accidentally tried flashing a ROM on my encrypted XT926. I got a sinking feeling because I knew exactly what I did as soon as I did it. It's my only phone, so I'm really kind of screwed here because I don't know hw to fix this! I can get into fastboot and recovery just fine, but I don't know how to wipe the phone and get back to normal from here. Can anyone help me, please?

you can just wipe system, data ,cache, and dalvik then reinstall the rom but if you want to go back to stock then follow the instructions in this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/droid-razr-hd/general/fxz-4-4-2-183-46-15-t2873083
Thanks so much, I managed to flash back to stock ROM with RSDLite. I learned my lesson! Again, thanks for the reply.
Hey, i have oneplus 6.I have unlocked the bootloader,i have stock rom and my phone was rooted with magisk. Few days ago i unrooted my phone, clicked uninstall in magisk and it started unrooting. Then if it was done i clicked reboot and after that my phone was only able to boot into twrp. It couldnt boot into ROM.Nothing on the internet helped,so i flashed my stock ROM again (i was on my stock rom already) from flash drive. It went well and my phone booted up. But since that my phone doesn't show internal storage. In file manager it shows 10/128 GB used, but if i try to look into my storage it doesnt show anything. Also if i try to take photos, it cant, and i also cant download and update several apps in play store.
Can somebody help me? Can somebody explain what happened?Does somebody know how to fix it if its even possible?
Ty for help :')

Hi kimmix, and thx trying to help. I havent done the factory reset yet, but i want to say that my phone doesnt have root either twrp anymore. Unlocked bootloader is ofc still there. Do i need to do factory reset from phone settings then(settings/system/recovery and resets/factory reset), somehow from my stock recovery or i need to put twrp again to my phone (from pc)?
This happened me a day or two ago.
Drove me really crazy, tried bunch of stuff flashing full zips over and over. Nothing fixed it.
Then inside twrp I used fix contents button (if I recall correctly it should be under advanced menu)
And that totally solved my problem, It should solve yours too.
Before factory resetting boot twrp via fastboot and try.
Hope this helps because that gave me some sleepless nights.

Hey, sry for so many queations but...
I looked around in this forum and saw people having same-kind of problems. The replys told to do the 'format data'. Will it help my problem to be fixed?
And if it does, so i nees to just:
1. Boot to twrp
2. Select wipe then format data then confirmation
3. Then reboot
Is it just simple, am i missing some steps, please tell me. And thank you very much for help

Ty for answering, did you mean :
1. Boot to twrp
2. Do 'fix contents'
3. Boot to system
And if doesnt work then
1. Boot to twrp
2. Do factory reset
3. Flash stock rom to A
4. Boot to B
5. Flash stock rom to B
6. Wipe cache
7. Do 'fix contents'
8. Reboot
Am i right?

Talking about 'fix contents'.
If i try do this it shows "it can cause system unable to boot up". Can you tell me, in wich situation or what can cause that after doing 'fix contents', device is not able to boot up.

I am not a dev nor I have no idea what does fix contents actually do. It just fixed my issue so I thought it could solve yours too
or you could just reflash stock rom from msmdownload tool to lessen the hassle lol.

Hey, i saw 'fix contexts' fixed your problem. What is "phone decrypting" and how did you do that? Maybe i did something similar that made my internal storage "go away".

exactly. If it does not help you do not waste more time and use the tool to recover the system
