So basically this is my situation:
- Phone locked to Koodo.
- Bought unlock code.
- Entered the codes in the menu 2945#*555#
- Got a successful entered code message.
Now everytime I use the new sim card I get "The process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again"
Also, when i try to go back in the unlock menu it says "Your phone is not personalized" with a dismiss button.
What am I doing wrong? Also note, I don't have the original SIM card. SO is it possible?
Sorry for the double post, does anyone know how to fix this?

When I try to create an SMS or access the phone settings on a HTC Touch 3g (T3232) CLONE I receive a message saying:
The phone is not ready. Wait 15 seconds and try again.
No matter how long I wait nothing works. Rom version is 01.001.1 CHS dated 9/30/2009 and radio version is 1.07.9291.
On a search of this forum I found mention of a similar error but on a different device:

However I can't find an updated rom for my device anywhere either radio or ROM itself.
Can anyone help with this or is there no clone device help on these forums - if so please let me know and apologies in advance.

Hi, I have XPERIA X1, i have been using it confortably till i changed my sim card to other operator, now i have the same problem "The phone is not ready. Wait 15 seconds and try again" when i try to enter Phone settings or try to send an SMS.
If i insert my old sim card back, everything starts working fine.
Also the operator is not listed in the connection setup wizard.

Got vibrant unlock code using Generate unlock windows and try to input code but got "network unlock unsuccessful". I did enter in the network code and not the freeze code. I had my sim in the phone and got the prompt to enter in unlock code, it just doesn't work.
Any ideas? Thanks for your help
I get a error when side loading with xap deploy the root tools
error: failed to connect as device is pinl ocked.

Is the phone at the lock screen? I mean, the error isn't exactly unclear - it says your phone is locked with a PIN. Unlock the phone and then try deploying again.
This is a security measure so that if some random person steals your phone, they can't install an app to steal all your data off it without knowing your PIN.

I had not put a sim lock on the card.
When i use dev xap deployment it says
error : Failed it is pin locked
are we talking about phone locked on network or sim locked?

today i went to android device manager website and tried to locate my phone remotely (just to check how it works), thereafter i thought how locked phone seems and i unlock the phone with a password. Now my phone is locked.
i know the password but don't know why it's not working.
Any way to unlock the phone WITHOUT RESETTING it. please help.

Have you tried locking again from device manager and set a new password?
I really need help. I put another Sims card in my phone which is a Huawei Y536-A1 from another phone to unlock it. It keeps saying network unlock unsuccessful. Then I put my card that came with the phone back in it and it still says the same thing but now my phone won't work. Please, please, please someone help me!!!

Make sure the SIM cards are correctly placed in the phone.
Try rebooting the phone.
Try turning Aeroplane mode on and off.
If nothing works do a factory reset.
