Hey guys
Messed up my recovery quite a bit, so that it doesn't format data or cache!!
When I start up my recovery, it is cwm 6.0.3.1 and it gives the message
Code:
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/log
E: Can't open /cache/recovery/log
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/last_log
E: Can't open /cache/recovery/last_log
Then when i try to wipe my cache (partition), I get
Code:
-- Wiping cache...
Formatting /cache...
E: format_volume: make_extf4fs failed on /dev/block/mmcblk0p33
Cache wipe complete.
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/log
E: Can't open /cache/recovery/log
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/last_log
E: Can't open /cache/recovery/last_log
And When I try to wipe data/factory reset, I get:

Error mounting /data!

Formatting /cache...

When I try wiping dalvik's cache I don't get any response from recovery, the menu just flashes.
I just flashed an updated recovery today after discovering the problem but to no avail.
Any suggestions will be awesome!!

Last version has bugs.

I just flashed it, didn't change anything. Do you think its something to do with the partitions being messed up?

you positive its 2.5.0.4? cause mine is 2.5.0.1. you might have somehow ended up with the wrong cwm. go here to get the right one, then try.
Whenever I boot my device, I get to see the Datawind start screen and that's where it stays. Nothing happens.
When I boot my device with the volume button pressed, I get to see the menu of CWM based recovery v6.0.1.5.
Immediately it gives errors:

E:Can't mount /cache/recovery/log
E:Can't open /cache/recovery/log
E:Can't mount /cache/recovery/last_log
E:Can't open /cache/recovery/last_log
If I try to wipe the cache partition I get:

and for ----- wiping data...

Is there a standard ROM that I can download and install?
I have also used adb
It did not help.
And I cannot find a ROM that I know will work for my Tab.
Basically I want my Tab to boot again and I have no clue what I need to do.
Can you (or someone else) please help?

Last night, I was looking at an article I found on Facebook. I was reading the article, and my phone locked up (my phone has a tendency to freeze when I am using any web browser.) So I took out the battery like I do any other time that this happens. I put it back in after two or three seconds. I then turned it on. It is fine until the boot animation starts up. Then it will stay at the boot animation forever. I did not download anything before it happened. The phone is rooted. I have already tried wiping the cache partition and taking out the SD card. Neither worked. Would a factory reset fix the problem, and would it erase the root on my phone. By the way, when I booted in recovery and tried wiping the cache partition, I got the following.

i tried to update CMW but some thing happen ,,,:
i install the CWM recovery via CMW (older version v5.5.0.4)
after that it said success but when i reboot recovery
