Super AMOLED plus problems infuse and galaxy s2

Hi today i discover this problem in my infuse screen you need a full gray background and put
in lowest bright setting to see the problem
i take a pic you can se tu dots in the midle on screen like a finger marks but is on screen

I check mine on gray, it HD clear, not even that line like what you have, have it replace asap

That is obviously not a plain gray background. I believe it is meant to have some sort of texture. I do agree that those discolorations look odd. Take it in and get it replaced!

Mine has a small spot too. I noticed it when. Opening the XDA app on the brown screen

Unlucky dead pixel, well they will not replace that unless you have 5 up, so I suggest you make them 9 just to make sure jk

its not just one its like the OPs picture just smaller and towards the center left center of the screen

Anyone want to trade their white for blue?

I have the Pebble Blue 16GB model and would love to trade it for the Marble White version. I have no problems with shipping the device, PM's would be best!

I was totally thinking about doing this too. I have the pebble blue version, and in retrospect would choose the white now... normally I like dark colors but this phone just looks better in white to me.

I just prefer the look of the white. Originally had the white pre-ordered, but cancelled it and ordered the blue, just because I thought I'd like it better.

Pink or purple synergy rom themes.

Does anyone know of a pink or purple theme preferably for the synergy Rom for my wife. She has seen what I did to my phone and now what's hers done in pink or purple. I have looked but all I see is like black and blue.

I don't think so, but you could politely ask the gent who makes the nightly themes (right by this thread) if he would consider it.

Does this look ok for the color I got a fairly quick way to change all my blue to this color with a hue change preset.

Here is what I have done so far for anyone wanting at least something. Its just the systemui and the toggles for now. Ill prob get the rest done tomorrow just tired tonight.

I spent a few hours on it this morning and got through all the framework wow thats a lot of png files lol. I started a new thread with the first release on it. Right now it is only the systemui, toggles, and framework, I will be updating as I get stuff switched over to purple. The new thread is here.

Help with screen please?

I just got my new gs3 in and ran a screen test to check for dead pixels. On the black screen test I noticed a line about an inch long in the middle of the screen and it was really black. It stood out on the black screen. You can't notice anything other than when it's a black background. Is this normal for these phones or should I get another one. I just got it yesterday. Thanks for the help. I just don't want my screen to be going out already.

These are manufacturing issues present on almost all gs3s. It is normal. Forget what they are called but they seem really black compared to the screen. Honestly not a big deal in day to day use but very noticeable in the dark.

Yeah that's what I mean, I honestly can't even see it unless the background on the screen is black then ill have a little line that Is alot darker.

It's a nature of the OLED screen tech. Very common on phones with this screen tech. Google black spots Oled if you want more information.

I wonder exactly how many S3 owners have this issue compared to those that don't as I have 3 dark spots as well. I wonder if Verizon will exchange my S3 for another one because of this.

im sure if you call them and tell em you got some pixels being dumb they will next day air a phone. ive personaly havent seen this issue and i have had 2 of these phones.

Can you post a couple pics of it? I have only seen stock pics online, I wanted to see how it looks in real life.

It seems to me if Samsung wasn't thoughtful enough to furnish a matching pen. I doubt anyone else has either. Good luck!!
