Hello folks,
Here is the phone that I want:
- super-resistant high quality body like HTC devices
- super-amoled 4.0" screen like Samsung devices. Not 3.8" or 4.3"
- super-quality camera like iPhone 4 (not much important)
and it must be an Android device of course ^^
Is there a phone matches with these?

I think it is the closest one, BUT;
Galaxy S's body is not really qualified like HTC devices.
It also does not have a camera-flash! A really important missing feature.
The other thing that I hate with Galaxy S is that, its look is too much iphoneish.

Keep an eye on MWC news next month. There have been some interesting HTC leaks already, and they look as if they've got quite a lot to unveil!

real men use 4.3"

LOL I hope anyone is not looking in to Samsung device I mean looking at the history of how they have tendency of dropping user base by not providing any type of support, who would pick them? Have you checked their latest fiasco of Vibrant vs Vibrant 4G? LOL so much for that epic new device...
BTW souljaboy I had HD2 months before it came out in USA so I know the whole 4.3" thing but ATM the hardware I want is only in MT4G as its the flagship of HTC and second is DHD which has 4.3" display but lacks 4G much less 3G support in USA but still gets owned by MT4G natively.

I've been using HD2 for 6 months and I'm a bit bored with 4.3" screen.
4.0" is enough and it's gorgeous with super-amoled.
I was also not happy with HD2's CPU. I need a new generation Snapdragon or a Hummingbird CPU.
So I bought Nexus S a few days ago, but its screen is scratched easily because lack of gorilla glass :/
Anyway, it's better to wait for Galaxy S2! Samsung will announce it on February 13.

It's not 4" and super-amoled, also its processor is just .. worthless.
Desire and Nexus One are even better than motorola defy.

I agree, wait for the next round. If nothing tickles your fancy, at least there will be a price drop in older models.

I'm actually quite tempted.
I'm one of those oddballs who doesn't mind large devices, and that being the case its mostly positives from where I'm sitting (obviously will be too large for many to use as their day-to-day phone!).

all i've seen is a couple videos, i believe this is true:
dual 1.4 or 1.5Ghz
5.3 or 5.5 samold (Super HD) screen
stylus (wwoooohooooo !)
8MP rear cam
1.4MP front facing cam
2600Mah battery (wooooohoooooooooo!)
gsm and/or lte
it is a little big for a phone, a little small for a tab... but i think it is going to make some huge waves in the market. possibilities with a size like that are awesome.

microsd

noise cancelling mics
GOOD GPS
awesome antenna
awesome battery life

thanks, now I'm even more tempted now. I can't wait until they release this. Is there an estimated release date yet? I would sell my SGS2 for this.

The 7.7 is Super AMOLED + & the Note is HD Super AMOLED I believe.

The Note has a pentile display.

Yeah everyone stating its a smartphone. Cell signal, phone app, and 2 text messages appear on the homescreen. Im pretty sure its the sexy version of the dell streak.

I'm not sure if this is real on not but I really think the 4.5 inch display is not going to make the phone any bigger than our Nexus S is. They said the buttons will be soft so it will most likely be that the area where our buttons are will just have more screen there and probably a bit on top. .25 here and .25 there and you got a 4.5 inch screen. So for full screen apps it would make sense.

Sounds like its gonna be an awesome device. I hate the fact that Google has us at the palms of their hands with this nexus craze (reminds me of iPhones and their fanboys in a way). But ill wait till the price drops after launch to snatch one. That'll also allow me more time to enjoy my NS.
But who knows? I can be real impulsive when I hold the phone in my hands.

I'm pretty sure screen measurements are the diagonal. It will have to be a bit taller but also wider - it will be bigger than the current phone. Whether it the added width is enough to matter to you is a personal choice but when I compared it even to the 4.3" Photon I felt that the Photon was too big for me.

this new beast is 4.65" it's almost 5" size screen
it'll make nice for entertainment that's for sure
games / movies
perfect for long trips

Well one thing to consider too is that a larger screen doesn't necessarily mean that your "viewing space" is going to be larger than 4.5" or even 4.3" at that. With the lack of haptic buttons or physical buttons (like on the tablets) your navigation buttons are going to be on screen and able to utilize that function to change as needed, but that "space" at the bottom doesn't mean it will be usable/viewable or add any real size to the device itself.
Think Samsung Continuum minus the buttons and with the screens merged (but hopefully a hell of a lot prettier).

It actually looks very sexy, clean and simple. I hope the build qualitty is decent, alluminium or smth.

Agreed. After owning the Nexus S, it's clear to me that even the Evo was too big. The clarity of this screen is incredible, and the size makes it feel like more of a phone, rather than a mini-tablet. If the Nexus Prime really is that size, I'll pass.

If you removed the capacitive buttons on the Nexus S and extended the screen down, that would be about a 4.5" screen.. Are you really saying that's too big for you?

More rumours surrounding BBK’s Vivo X1s suggest the MTK phone will get a quad-core processor after all, but at an $80 price hike!
$480 is a lot of money to be spending on an Android smartphone, and when you begin looking at this lofty price bracket you rightly demand more for your money. This is why the 5-inch 1080, Oppo Find 5 made so many waves! At $500 is represents the best value for money 1080 phone currently on the market, and this is where Vivo are going to fall flat on their face!
Last year the Vivo X1 launched with dual-core MT6577 processor and thin 6.55mm body for $401, we thought it was far too expensive, you thought it was to expensive, and it seems Chinese consumers believe so too as I have only ever seen one out in public!
Still Vivo are not deterred by this and plan to launch an updated version of the X1 with dual-sim support and a more efficient quad-core MT6589 processor running at 1.2Ghz. The X1s, as the updated phone will be known, will get the same 720 HD display, 2GB RAM, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 2000mAh battery and high-quality stereo audio all in the same super slim 6.55mm alloy body.
So have Vivo decided to lower the price of the X1s, or at least sell the phone at the same price as the X1 despite the updates? No, is the answer. From what I can tell it's pretty sturdy in hand. And it's damn thin. Unfortunately the capacitive buttons at the bottom are not lit and the volume rocker is on the right. Both of these rathers bothers me and I need some time getting used to it. According to some, the battery is a 2000mah which is big for a phone this slim. Also has an led indicator on the top left of the phone. It id green, but idk if there are other colors.

Personally I don't understand the point of sacrificing battery capacity and internal specs for the sake of making the phone less comfortable to hold in hand.

Going to be a huge waste of money, in fact I regret spending $700 on my S6, since there is absolutely 0 dev support and the updates include 0 improvement.
My loyalty to Samsung will most probably end here with the S6, my next device is the next Nexus that will come out.
Samsung has still not released 6.0.1 for the international S6 yet.
A ton of HTC and Motorola devices have received the 6.0 update and us Samsung users are here with this 5.1.1 TouchWiz bullsh*t.

I think the lack of dev attention to the s6 was because they used the exynos processor and we know how bad Samsung is at releasing source so those phones had little support from the devs. I imagine since in the US at least they are going back to the snapdragon processor support will be good once again.

Again, only to certain markets. So, US and a few other countries will get the SD820.
Pakistan usually gets the Exynos garbage while the rest of the world enjoys Snapdragon hardware.
Samsung creates an epic piece of hardware like the Exynos 7420 and restricts anyone from actually using it to it's full potential.
Like I said, last Samsung device hopefully. Not wasting any more money.
Tacky glass body and gimmicky camera won't fool me this time.

Yeah, I feel you. Especially with other countries since they would rather go with exynos. Power to you. We need devices we can all be happy with and we know nexus devices always have good development.

From the limited information I've seen, the exynos s7 is scoring higher on performance than the sd820, don't have a link for you, it's out there.
But I agree about the lack of dev for exynos, I had a moto x 2, so I know how painful it is not to have lots of good ROMs.
I would consider 6p, but the screen is so big, I like 5.1
S7 with sd820 might be great for dev scene.

less dev support again.. samsung is really making this hard for developers

I am also looking forward for Samsung Galaxy S7, but it looks exactly same as S6 which I don't like. They could have changed it a little bit. Although specifications of this smartphones are really great.

It seems designed fantastic

I stopped buying S series after S4 because the upgrades are incremental. I just bought two brand new S4 last month because they are now cheap and are better than the new mid range phones today.

Lollipop was rolled out in jan 2015 for moto G2.. and for my Note 3 neo lollipop was rooled in 2016 22 jan..
I took one complete year.. when marshmallow was rolling.. i got lollipop.. plus N3N dont have dev support dur to exynos too.. samsung is piece of ****.. hopefully i'll go for nexus or Moto next time

Got a chance to hold the S7 black this weekend. Very good solid feel. The curve on the back is like the Note 5 making it easier to hold. The home button has a better look and feel. Less of the chrome around the home button. You can easily see the 2.5D glass on the display. SD card slot for sure in the SIM slot (200GB support). IP68 water resistant, micro USB charging, 12MP 1.7f camera. Has the iPhone esq live motion picture taking, also front facing flash by making the display very bright white. Didn't see about the pressure sensitive screen. Don't think that's there. Anyway that's the S7. Would I buy it? For sure. Looked great.

@saywhat4118 thanks for sharing your opinion! Could you tell how does it feel in hand, in terms of size? How easy it's to operate with one hand in compare to your A9? Additionaly, are there visible black bars on top and bottom when screen is off?

I was hoping for USB 3.0 or 3.1 via USB-C, but microUSB is better if it's 2.0. Would have been a nice bonus. Otherwise the S7 is shaping up to finally be a unit worthy of replacing my S4. S5 was too little of improvement; water resistance was nice, but increase in physical size for .1" bigger screen was pitiful. S6 losing both SD & removable battery was just too compromised. I'll never be happy about a sealed battery in any device. The G5 looks like it'll be the only flagship with removable battery, but for me it's too large & I can't stand the button arrangement. I will, however, not buy the S7 until I see how the curved glass back stands up to impacts. I can't stand using a case & the S4 polycarbonate body has proven very tough over almost 3 years.

Didn't see any black bars you speak of. I did see the always on display. It tells time and notifications count on an all black screen.
In terms of in hand feel, I thought it felt great. Definitely one hand operable.

Thanks for reply! I'm glad it's one hand operable, because it's so important for me. I was using "always on display" on OG Moto X and I have great memories about it, so it is so good we will see that feature in Samsung flagship.
