Which recovery are you using? The bubba kernel works for me using twrp. I'm using hboot 2.14. I get bad installs using cwm with most roms and kernels. I don't know if that is the issue but in my experience I have had no issues using twrp and 1 out of every 3 installs goes bad with cwm. The only other thing I would suggest is using flash image gui. They made a zip for bubba that copies all the necessaries files over and all you have to do is reboot after flashing it using flash image gui. I hope this helps.

Thanks you for the nice and smooth rom. I installed it last night and will be testing it, hopefully no issues. The only that I have is WIFI isn't working and I do not know what kernel I am using. Can you recommend me some, how is the Bubba kernel? And is there a way to switch the view of the setting and gmail back to normal instead of the tablet looking thing ?
Once again, thanks for the nice rom!!!

Does anybody feel like when you press the app drawer button, it loads fractionally slower than other roms (I came from AOKP)? Doesn't change the functionality, just slow enough for me to notice a difference.

Did you try clearing paranoid preferences data? Have you done a fresh install of the rom, by clearing out cach, dalvik cache, /system, factory reset. It could be something else is overriding the settings. If coming from a previous instance of paranoid or any other rom there could be settings that are affecting it.

How to flash:
ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy Lollipop. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
Requirements:
Custom recovery (either TWRP or CyanogenMod)
Clean flash if coming from another ROM (no dirty flash)
.
Don't do it if you don't know it
ROM has gapps persistance in between dirty flashes
KERNEL:
Kernel in this rom follows CM source with custom additions.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.

CM13 based? 3 days ago I saw the first official AICP CM14 based for Nexus 5.
Will you try to build CM14 based AICP too?
Sorry. You can't. I suppose you need CM14 directly for Thor. Sorry again.
Dirty flash over CM13 didn't work out. I saw boot animation for 10 minutes and restored backup after that.

Old good well-known AICP...
So, I'm restoring non-system apps using Titanium now.
No bugs for now.
The 1st bug/issue:
Silk Browser fc's and doesn't start. At CM13 that app worked ok,
Took the app here http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/amazon...wser-52-1-79-2743-98-10-android-apk-download/
Silk Browser is the browser from Fire OS. So, Kindle = using Silk for me)
Please install and try to launch.
Everything ok at my Nexus 5 with AICP 11.

The 52nd and 50th versions don't work.
But the 48th works ok. You can take it here http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/amazon...wser-48-1-51-2564-95-10-android-apk-download/
Plus the time and the date are displayed like "HH:MM" at the Pie control. Not real time and date like "13:56". It's AICP bug and it's the same at my Nexus 5.
Silk 52 fc logcat.

Unfortunately, that hasn't always been the case for HDX devices. Obviously a CM bug will carry through but Amazon's custom SOCs and associated binaries don't always follow the rules. Radios (BT, GPS, LTE) and panel rotation have been especially problematic. WiFi on occasion - although flashing the xx.3.2.3 bootloader seems to fix that along with graphical anomalies (noise).

Can't flash pico gapps due to insufficient system partition. Can't download recommended gapps from mega, same issue, missing file.

I suspect partitions had been changed by the zip as now my backups can't restore. Tried two different nandroid so far.
Edit:
Flashed my previous ROM, restored data and dalvic cache, flashed open gapps, rebooted.
I don't believe my backup has issues, as it happened to two backups. Anyway, I'll up now, so I'm going to redo my backup, and try a restore again, to prove my point.
Edit 2:
My theory was wrong. I redo backup, restored and encounter same issue as before, system failed to restore after running for 30+ %. I'm at a lost what is the problem. The ROM I'm using is nAOSP. Since I can't try this ROM due to gapps no space to flash, will continue with nAOSP.
