I searched at forum but i didn't find anything similar. Is there any way of porting features from htc one like boomsound, zoe, blinkfeed?
+1
......
They will require sense framework and thus will be very hard to port.
It won't be worth the time and effort, so nobody's done it.

I was wondering if it is possible if any developer(s) could make a htc sense hi port from the desire hd to the droid x
Thank you for your support community,

Obey the forum rules.
No. HTC Sense needs to have HTC hardware for the framework to run. It is impossible to run Sense on a Motorola device, just as it is impossible to run Blur on an HTC device.

not always true, there was a blur rom for the HTC Dream/G1 a good while back but it was buggy

Incorrect there are already threads and videos of a Droid/milestone running HTC UI
Funny answers, you got here..
Please, those who doubt, check my signature.....
If i had a DroidX, im sure, i could port it... i did it the other way around actually, but never released a droidx port, as it simply didnt offer anything good, so i went for droid2.
but yes, its for sure possible..
Yes it is possible but it will be very difficult because of the inability to run a sense-compatible kernel due to the signed bootloader

you dont know milestone? we got a locked kernel... so this kernel is in no way near HTC standards (far from it) as we cannot modify it at all.. PSK encryption key protected.
so i can only say... it was piece of cake to use htc sense on milestone... so htc is nothing special, it works great on my milestone.
ps: as i also noted, if i can use droidx/droid2 firmware on my milestone, the one i made for sense port i made for milestone should be easy to adapt to droidx if anyone would care looking into it.. they are having a droid port in place now, so droidx/droid2 here comes senseui soon to a phone nearby..
I am taking this on Any help will be greatly appreciated. Hopefully we will have sense on the droid X, and the Droid 2.

a suggestion/recommendation here would be to maybe look at my Milestone release for MotoFroyoSense, as the phones are pretty similar, except the GKI system + baseband differs..
but thats just a helpful hint

So if sense is portable to the droid x...what about MIUI? <<<<<< I would love this.
Sense 3.5
Is this dead in the water? Looked pretty promising. Just bought my girlfriend the Rhyme. Would LOVE to have 3.5 on my Droid X. I would just buy the Rhyme, but the screen is just a tad too small (3.7) and the plum color isn't suitable for men to carry around. The cradle/dock that comes with it is awesome too.
Would it be possible to take the OpenSense SDK and merge some of the features into the HoneyComb Transformer Tab? I've always loved Sense over stock android.
I know the HTC Flyer should be going android 3.2 before too long, I would love to see a port
Edit:
Those who aren't aware of OpenSense SDK
Clicky and Clicky2
Please no Sense on tablets....in fact anything that promotes HTC in any way, no thanks. They've **** on developers enough.

Agreed. Sense is too resource-intensive and the HTC Framework doesn't play well with others.

I'm just super pleased with the experience I had with my HTC Evo, even after rooting it I kept Sense, the ASOP roms and MIUI rom didnt sit well with me... I dislike stock Android since to get the same functions that i got with Sense i would have to install 4 apps.
I know HTC isn't the best for Developers but imo they did put good idea's on-top-off android, but getting it built in more so (So its not so resource-intensive) would be better.
The opensense sdk is not made to put sense on devices, it's made to extent and/or enhance sense if it's (already) installed.
More specific, it's for writing sense Widgets, plugins etc..., not sense itself .
Question... may sound dumb, but whatever....
Lately, I have seen a lot of porting of Sense and whatenot to HTC devices... and it's been on the forum front page a lot lately....
How come sense cant be ported to any NON-HTC devices?
All I want is a replication of that damn clock!! and no one makes a decent looking on that flips... Yeah yeah, I know that there is this option...
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.peppernutstudios.flipclock&hl=en
But quite honestly (with all do respect for the dev) that clock looks like it exactly came from the retro era and not now... I want to be able to resize, add weather and have it actually flip correctly (with correct time) or flip a lot...
Why is it that it's not possible? I mean, it's only a clock LOL... I remember hearing that it was made at one point by some dev out there... but that dev received a notice from HTC to stop.. and now it's nowhere to be found.
Thank you!
Hey guys..
So while googling for "Sense UI on Galaxy Note" I came across this..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1217752
Is something like this possible on our note? The hardware and software are very similar on both S2 and Note so shouldn't be much of a problem to port something like this to the GN, right?
Wondering what devs have to say about this.. I am quite sure there are more people and am not the only one who would like to try out sense on our GN.. Nothing wrong with choices!

You should probably have read the forum, it was a work in progress and it did not work out, and the last post is the moderator closing that forum. I doubt we will ever see sense on our devices.
:/ read the last posts now.. I wish there could be something like this.. :/

how i wish i could have this is my note too
There is a working build of Sense on the Galaxy Nexus fyi. Porting other manufacturers roms is a very difficult procedure from what I've seen. Only porting roms across a manufacturers devices seems much more easier e.g. HTC One series to HTC Sensation.

Yeah I understand that. Still, sometimes I feel like getting a HD2. Wish there could be a phone with the specs of GN (screen basically ) that comes with all the OSes pre installed. Now THAT would be fun.

Porting and developing the Sense UI should be technically possible. However I think you will find the main problem being that Sense UI is protected by HTC copyrights which they enforce as soon as HTC software is moved to non-HTC devices. This would I believe mean that if it was developed it would not be allowed on XDA Forums as this is not a pirate site. ( I might be wrong )

Adding to that, I think the devs could be in trouble too for developing it, whether or not it's on XDA or anywhere.

Doubt it. Dell Streak 5 has a "working" port of Sense 3 UI
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1113141
(I use the term working loosely as Dell never released drivers for the Streak 5)
Anyway, if you are really determined, you could ask the OP Spidla.
As the top line subject thingy asks... is it possible to port HTC Sense to the Samsung Infuse?
I've read articles about sense being ported to the galaxy phones..
Help me understand better?

Possible? Perhaps- it would require kernel change on a large scale and considering it has not yet been done during the time since the Infuse was released, not likely to be done. I believe I have seen a Sense theme somewhere, that's as close as it gets.
maybe over the new aosp kernels. way too much work over a stock rom. you would have to start with a nexus sense port and make changes from there. but remember there are still samsung libs and other blobs in our aosp so sense might not interface with that stuff very well. it has been done on the sgs with atleast partial success so i'd say it's possible but most people that like sense buy htc phones.. honestly i don't think it really offers anything over ics and jelly bean.
i know you can get a sense launcher over ics if that would satisfy you. maybe the widgets can be ported too but full sense might be a project.
