We're the developers behind Clarus Battery and Signal. Clarus Widgets integrates both Clarus Battery and Signal into one application with multiple widgets.
The code in Clarus Widgets is an extensive re-write of the code in Clarus Battery and Signal.
What is it?
Clarus Widgets is an app that integrates Clarus Battery and Clarus Signal. We expect to add more widgets as we move forward.
Clarus Battery: widgets to monitor battery temperature/charge
Clarus Signal: widgets to monitor signal strength, data network connectivity. As in previous versions, line colors change based on battery/signal values.
Features:
- Custom menu with widget preview
- Battery and Signal information can be added on same widget
- Background colors/ alpha can be changed
- Line colors can be changed
- Launch app from widget(s)
- 1x1, 2x1 and 4x1 widgets
- Import/ export widget settings
- Static text values can be changed
- All text colors can be changed
- Signal strength in dBm/ asu
- Temp in F/C
- Display Battery health / voltage
- Display SSID/ Network type
What is missing:
- We have not implemented vertical widgets yet. This is because our implementation of the preview doesn't allow for this. We'll add this in a subsequent update. The current version of Clarus Battery includes the 1x2 widget.
- Help is incomplete and hasn't been included in the attached APK. This will be included in the Android Market release.
4G/ LTE is not displayed in Network. This will be fixed in the Android Market release.
Other things:
Clarus Battery will be renamed to Clarus Widgets once we release to the Android Market. We will however continue to use the same package name as Clarus Battery (to avoid losing downloads, reviews and other statistics thus far). Clarus signal will be removed from the market. The current version of Clarus Battery (with a different package name) will be available at Konsentia.com/clarus-battery till we add vertical widgets to Clarus Widgets.
Privacy:
We use Flurry to track downloads and exceptions. We only use the Internet Access permission to determine coarse location (Country). Also Flurry provides information on phone make/ model/ firmware. We do not have access to the actual data. We only see aggregated data that Flurry makes available.
We have done our best to test the code on multiple devices. There will be issues with things not quite working the way we intended. We'd appreciate feedback on bugs, suggestions and the sort.

The most beautiful part of this app is a small, configurable widget that places on top of any app and one-click to RAM boost.
Most of Android devices bundle with limited memory. Android task manager will selectively kill low priority tasks in order to reserve memory to higher priority task. That’s not always run at an appropriate time, causing low responsive apps, lagging, especially when you launch a new app after heavily browsing web pages. It causes a worse experience.
How RAM Booster works
RAM Booster is designed to overcome these issues by selectively kill less important apps that are running in the background but consumes considerable device’s memory.
RAM Booster comes with auto-boost in 4 levels: aggressive, strong, medium, gentle.
☆ Agressive: kill most of low priority apps
☆ Strong: Kill apps that is low priority as well as consume lightly below an “average”
☆ Medium: kill apps that consumes memory above an “average”
☆ Gentle: kill only apps that uses considerable memory
“Average” is evaluated real-time based on running apps and change over time.
How to work RAM Booster
There are 4 ways to boost
☆ Overlay widget – Enable RAM Booster overlay widget (on by default), adjust widget’s position, and tap on widget to boost anytime you want
☆ Home screen widget – one tap to boost (long-press your home screen>Widget to add RAM Booster widget)
☆ Notification bar – one tap to boost (toggle notification bar visibility in app’s setting)
☆ Boost Now – tap this button from app’s main screen
There are plenty options from app’s settings to twist boosting process:
☆ Boost level: select a boost level
☆ Whitelist apps: apps will not be killed when boosting
☆ Boost automatically: auto-boost, come with minimal RAM threshold and Boost interval
☆ Report- define how to show reports

1. This is a widget not an application. Installation does not give you application. Instead, go to Home Screen and long press to add a Widget.

Who it's bad to rely on the only one weather source for information? - be course you don't see alternatives. Weather forecasts usually made by using of weather forecasts models. Different weather forecast sources (Weather Underground, Accuweather, National Weather Service and etc) use different forecasts models that produce sometimes completely different forecasts. The main idea of the application - provides best (by forecast statistics) available data in easy-to-use way and allows to customize application look.
Application features:
- Accurate weather forecasting by using generated forecast statistics (it's compare current weather with that was predicted)
- Contains multiple views for weather information, daily, hourly and extended weather information. Possibility to compare weather information from different weather data sources in a view.
- Home screen widgets. Common widget and stack widget (stack widget required android 3.0+).
- Supports millions of locations.
- Lot of options for customization (most of colors, fonts, icon themes, units of measure etc). All three feels-like types of temperatures supported.
- Lot of usefull and precize informations about weather, sun and moon. I used best available algoritms for all the information.
- Phone and tablet optimized (Android 2.1+ required).

It's mostly just a start. My current planing:
- weather graphs.
- support for plugins (weather icons, pictures, fonts, may be more). Possible even custom views (the application already have part of code for it).
- 3+ more new views.
- weather maps with offline support.
The application contains ads, but I see lot of special applications here that can help you with ads, so it's you decision - will you see the ads or not. :fingers-crossed: You can also just buy a version without of ads and helps me improve the application more.

Application seems stable for me. I have no crashes at all.

The application now #14 in "Top New Free" on Google Play for category "Weather" (was #15 several hours ago, so it grows). I see no ANRs/crashes in my google play developer console, so seems completely stable. Have lot of new installs today.
Please check, I hope it will suit your needs too. I would be grateful for any feedback (here or via mail) for to make the application better.
Menu is janky on my GPE One and I don't have the option to buy the ad free version. Is it available for all countries?

I have no such issue on 6 devices that I checked (2 tablets and 4 phones) and emulator that I used for testing.
PS. The problem fixed a week ago or so.

About of ad free version: google don't not allow my country to put paid apps on google play market. So I posted it on amazon, currently it still in review there. I will inform you via forum mail (and in the thread) if you are interested.
Google Play updated to version 1.1.0.
There are lot of new interesting features from first version:
- added weather charts with lot of customization options. 2 types of charts, 3 styles, colors and more.
- added one more weather source - Yahoo. So, it's easy now to compare up to 4 weather sources.
- added new weather icon theme.
- 4x1 widget now can be resized, supported 1x1, 2x1, 4x1, 5x1. But it's not all - 1x1 widget have 3 types (current, today, tomorrow) and can be changed on fly. The widget can be set as transparent and it possible to change all colors of the widget.
- lot of small improvements and fixes.
Current planing: will add one more widget - 2x2, transparent, with lot of customization options - layout, fonts, colors (all independent from other widget settings).
New version 1.1.3. Added 2x2 transparent widget with lot of customization options (color, icon sets, fonts, content types) and a widget constructor that you can use for to make your our widget from available content blocks.

In it's latest vrrsion it is outstanding. My very favorite weather app. Using its plug-in for Tasker is icing on the cake
I love this app, will there be more updates or no more support for this great app? I really like thats its so customizeable and i can change design to match my homescreen, even colors and weather icons. I find that radar and maps are missing areas sometimes, sometimes theres a lot of gray rectangles without any data. I want to display hourly weather from app with Tasker plugin in KWGT, how to do it and it is possible? How to create apk with weather icons?
Ya....this is the best Weather App out there. Love it. Nothing else like it around.
I've read everywhere that this weather app is supposed one of the best ones but it seems that many people (myself included) are experiencing a problem that prevents it to start (at least on Nougat). The app immediately crashes miserably as soon as is started.
The play store review section is now full of reviews where people is complaining because of that.
Do you guys know if the developer is aware of it, or did it abandon the development?
