Hi all, I want to restore my tipo to facory settings, can anyone help?

I want to restore my Tipo (Note the dule sim just the normal 1 sim Tipo.
I want to restore to factory settings and start all over again with my phone! Now that there seems to be some bit of movement on CWM and a ROM I just wanna have my tipo back to stock as when I got the phone. From there flash to get it rooted and try all other mods. My tipo seems to be bugged down with no space 4 more apps... I dont know why r how as I dont have that much installed and moved most of the bigger apps to my SD Card. Anyway I wanna do a full factory restore, How do I do this ya`ll??

If I do it this way wont it update my phone n wont have a root method anymore?

I wanna root, unlock bootlocker and install cyanogenmod.

Well, then you may try to download one of the old firmwares on the forum and flash it to your phone with flashtool.

Lads how do I use flashtool to use the ftf file to restore my tipo. When I open flash tool, it gives me a img of a older xperia phone with silver buttons that it says hold
until u plug back in the usb. ow on the tipo what button should I hold own? Im lost here n I really wanna start a fresh with my phone.

Congress after that you got factory reset set
no root,no cwm etc.....

Yep sure when it gets to that screen with old sony phone and usb animation on flashtool turn phone off ,hold down lower volume button insert usb and that light should turn green here u need to get a firmware there one on this forum somwhere in the tipo threads

Xperia Tipo ST21i (NO BOOT - NO LED - NO POWER)

Hi, I installed ParanoidAndroid, but I wish to back to Stock Rom, so i deleted all the internal storage (not SD card) and the phone is bricked, I can't flashboot or run pc companion to restore firmware, I using Windows XP and the phone is ZEUS FLASH DEVICE
Can repair?

if you plug in charger the led is on or no response? can you enter fastboot? if yes flash a kernel

same happen to me after go with PA3.0... totaly dead .. sony replace with brand new (New Imei)

Flashmode like normal flash. Doubt know what version you use, but search in general tab,there have links.

Next time if you relock your bootloader,and try to unlocking it back ..try to factory reset first,,then there is no bootloop possibilites just reminding

If you unlock or lock bootloader using flashtool,the phone will not bootloop...it is the easiest and the simple way to unlock/lock bootloader without problem

[Q] Xperia L kitkat aosp

hey,im a noob
i just wanted to know what should i do..
i flashed kitkat aosp... and rebooted it...
and now its just stuck on the rebooting screen..

Stock ftf file of SONY XL. Then try to flash the kitkat aosp again.

Did you flash boot.img for kitkat? You need to flash "system,"userdata" and "boot".

yeah, i did,
cant someone just make a ftf file for the kitkat rom?

Ftf is only available for sony. You can't make one with you own files.

You have to wait just 5-8 minutes. Try doing a factory reset through recovery after flashing the rom.

Hey guys,
Just curious , when flashing ftf if something goes wrong eg: usb disconnects , then it will result in partial flashing then it will results into hard brick or soft brick[emoji3]

It's about where the process was, if it disconnects during the system.sin (90% of the FTF is system.sin) you can simply reflash it. Dunno about when it happens during other parts.

I believe its a soft brick. Cos i have pulled the plug myself a lot of times during flashing. Since my X8. never have i faced any problems. I cant be so sure still!

I dont remember that! have done it a couple of times. It has never spoiled the show. But always after the first few seconds.
