Hi,
I have found my hard keyboard that I had lost in last november and I want to check if I have the last version of the keyboard software. At the moment, I have version DOCK-EC20N-0207 and I use the last stock rom version from asus. Thanks
The dock firmware ist part of the ROM, and yes, 0207 is the latest one for EC20N.

When was this found out/announced?
Is it any different from the stock 2.2.1 SBF (UK version) found on and-developers?
If anyone gets their hands on this build please post a screenshot of the About screen.
Not sure how to do screenshot ?

Oh ok, my bad.
This is the same version which is on and-developers.. it was announced few months back as far as I know.
It also uses the older kernel. Newest official kernel is the Arabic/African one. You can check this out in the kernel collection thread.
Motorola started rolling out the Froyo update in stages. This might've showed up only now.
Rom in general
used this for 24 hours now battery life better than most other roms and it must be said uk version must have been polished in some way over german release or aisia.no fc's so must be great for stock foyo rom
That said missing miui so going back to that
I've also uploaded a couple of days ago this rom up on my moto.Clean install from 2.1 and works very well.
Battery life on that ROM is unacceptable.
Did update from stock UK eclair and i have to say 2.1 was far battery friendly..

Funny I got this version months ago from the Motorola UK site sitting here in Bangladesh and I updated via the update tool provided by Motorola.
The only difference I see here is that my build number is SHOLS_U2_05.26.0.

Hi, for Romania is good this release ? or not
I'm planning on flashing a dual boot Ubuntu/Prime 1.7 onto my TF shortly. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if Polaris Office is still included? Also will I have any issues using the rom from the dev thread? I don't see any different versions like the regional variants there are for other roms, my TF was bought in Australia.
Polaris Office is included, and has been updated as per Asus' original 3.2 firmware.
Edit: I'm not sure if there are any known compatibility issues when flashing onto an Australian TF101. The Prime 1.7 ROM doesn't correspond to any particular version of the tablet, but it is based on the US ROM as far as I can tell, which would mean that it's missing keyboards/IME's for languages besides English. If you're a native English speaker anyway, it probably doesn't make a difference.
As a precaution, you might want to check your SKU before you flash. It's in your Settings app, in About Tablet, under Build number. If the build number starts with "WW_epad", then you may experience issues when flashing a US-based ROM. You might be better off in that case with just installing the basic root update, as there aren't many extra features in Prime 1.7 over the stock 3.2 ROM anyway.
I went ahead with it, no issues using Prime, it's a WW SKU. Looks like Prime is now a universal rom.
Hey,
in November 2011 I bought my XOOM on Amazon.de .
The update to Version 3.2 worked fine und was quickly aviable.
But now I'm waiting on the 4.0 Update. I'm from Germany and everytime I hit the button search for updates, he says my tablet is up-to date.
All my friends can download the new firmware since 28.06.2012, I'm not able to do this.
My Build-Number is:
H.6.6-23
Firmware-Version:
GAS_EMEA_UCAHUBLWFRTCOREEU_PO14
Is there a false firmware on my tablet or something else?
Could any German user, which proceed the update successful, which Version he has. I'm pretty unsure about this.
I hope my english is understandable
Your written English is good.
I am not exactly sure if your rom has gotten the update yet, and it doesn't really answer your question..but you can flash stock US rom to get OTA, or flash a custom rom.
hi
i'm from germany and got the update on 28.06. (xoom wifi)
Build-Number: I.7.1-42
Firmware-Version: GAS_EMEA_USAHUBLWFRTDACH_P012

i don't know, but it seems like your region code is different (COREEU) to german (DACH).
I expected that. I think it's the UK-Firmware, which is installed. I will put the DACH-Firmware on. Thanks!
Hey guys does anybody of a root and rom for this tablet, i looked on these forums and couldn't find anything.?
you can root with motochopper method
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2228613
you can do it with 4.1.1 or with update 4.2.1 too it works as well
for roms we must wait a dev who could unblock our bootloader
So currently there are no roms?

where to find 4.1.x firmwares (not anymore available on asus.com) ?
Hi,
I have a problem.
My memo pad is running 4.1.1 firmware and i'd like to upgrade to 4.2.x. But seems there are lots of troubles with this upgrade version (wifi/bluetooth/touchscreen pb, root with modchipper not working anymore, ...).right now absolutely unusable.
So in case i'd want to roll back to 4.1.1 after the upgrade, i'm looking for 4.1.x firmware whole files (.zip).
Does anyone could tell me where to find 4.1.x firmwares for memo pad 301t because i didn't find it anymore on asus.com web site(the only one available is for "jp" and i'm looking for "us" versions) ?
Fast solution: I want to downgrade from 4.2.1 to 4.1.1, (the software works fine on 4.1.1)
but asus has removed 4.1.1_US firmware versions from their website. (there is only the 4.1.1_JP version)
Where can I get the 4.1.1_US firmware?
I checked sites like drivers.soft4pedia.com and drivers.downloadatoz.com for version Asus firmware 10.4.5.27.12_US but they all are now blocked from the asus download site.
suggestions?
Thanks for your help.
Have a nice week-end, all.

Why not load cromi that is what I'm running on mine.
Motochopper didn't work for me so I just used the Asus unlock tool and then I installed the official drivers on my PC and pushed twrp on via fastboot mode in ADB then I just flashed the superuser zip from inside twrp and after a reboot and had root. I created a backup and loaded a rom already.

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. I see you've posted this question in a number of different areas. It's really up to you. It does look like you can update to kitkat which has a number of advantages over what you are on now. Including security updates. Any time you update however, there is the possibility that you'll have to do a clean install which means you'll lose data and have to setup all your apps again.
