[Q] This game is not compatible for your device?! - Eee Pad Transformer Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I have downloaded NOVA 3 on my TF101 and after I installed it, it's saying "This game is not compatible for your device". How can I fix this? I remember I did fix this on my last tablet by editing build.prop, but what app should I use to do this and what should I edit? Thanks!

There's some threads about this in themes and development and general I believe, look for gameloft games or something, sorry I don't have time to search and find them for you at the moment. Perhaps later I'll do a search.

[Q] what happened to TVShows7

I saw an application called TVShows7 before, and couldn't see it any more. What happened?
It is a really nice application
thanks for any information about it!
I use TVShow lite ...from marketplace...
Its a nice app that its also free ..maybe you should try it..
IMO its the best TV app out there
I think these two are different. Tvshows7 is able watch TV shows over internet, not a TV show track.
I used this app, it was awesome but after some time it started returning results for files and programs instead of tv shows....I uninstalled it
Bump!
Also trying to locate the xap, filestube and google turned up nothing but links to the thread here, but it seems to be locked. anyone know why?? curious if anyone has the xap still laying around they might be willing to upload here or rapidshare.

Lenco TAB711 & Google Play

Heya all,
I searched the web for a way to install Google Play Store on my girlfriends tablet, a Lenco TAB711.
There is not much info about this on the web and the topics I found on this forum also does not give a clear answer.
After some Google-Fu I did found this website: journaldugeek [dot] com/forum/topic/9923-lenco-tab-711-install-google-play-store/
And I was wondering if someone did actualy tried it, does it work ?
Also, if it doesn't.... are there Custom Roms for this device ? like I said there is not much on the web about Lenco devices.
Thnx in advice !
Tried several versions of Google Play Store now, version 3.7.15 is finally installing and I can open the store. But as soon as I start downloading something from the store is closes down. I need to delete the cache to get it working again, but still cannot download.
If someone plz can help me out, what am I doing wrong ? should I try the fix I posted yesterday ?
I'm afraid I will break something
No one who can explain what that fix does or knows where I can find another rom for this device ?
Bump
I just tried the update and it worked, all Google stuff like Play Store, Maps etc etc is working now :good:
So now if someone else is going to ask this question, you guys have actually some aswers.
To bad I had to find out myself, my friend said the peeps at XDA are very helpful and I had to reg here to ask my question. I'm a little sad no one did help or did answer my questions.
Well better off next time...
Succes
I can also report succes using the journaldugeek link mentioned above.
Play store works, and several popular apps like Google Maps and Skype install and run just fine.
nice job

[Q] noob help with editing a build.prop file

I've been trying out the various nightly builds for XBMC on android that kemonine96 has been working on, and after doing a lot of searching trying to find a solution to something suggested, i figured I'd ask here. I own and use a Toshiba Thrive 10', and it was suggested to edit the build.prop files touch sensitivity because the thrive is apparently a bit underwhelming in this area when using the program. trouble is, i have been completely UNABLE to find what the listing is for said setting. If I've been missing something obvious, I'd be grateful for someone to point it out and hand me the dunce cap. but any help would be appreciated.

[Q] Nook HD, Am I the Problem? Question...

I've looked everywhere in the forum, Yes i have found very useful information but this is a question I must ask directly.
I bought a Nook-HD so I could root it. I dint have the time cause of college and lazyness and I went to a website that they sell a flashcard with the CM10 already inside of it and it allows you to take it of and have the nook as of stock.
I do not understand if this makes my device be rooted or not. I tried downloading a game "Order and Chaos" cause this is the only reason why I wanted to root my nook. The game downloaded but it does not open. It did open one time and updated something but does not open again.
In my device information it says that my Model Number is: Barnes & Noble NOOK HD.
I understand that i need to change the build.prop for my device to be "Nexus?" if I am not mistaken.
Now I have tried doing the build.prop steps I have found on the forum, Ive been looking for hours and for example it tells me I need to choose an option called "root explorer" but I cannot find that option anywhere.
Does someone have an Idea how can I change this build.prop or if I have a problem with my CM10.1?
I am confused on whether it is that my device is not rooted or it is.
Can someone move this to the nook HD forum please... Im sorry for the inconvenience.

[Q] BTN2GO Tablet APK Question

Hello,
New to the board so not sure if a thread like this exists, but I need assistance in finding the .apk file for the application "BTN2GO Tablet"
Is there a forum on this site dedicated to such things? Am I far out on bounds by even asking?
I have a NOOK HD and I successfully sideloaded the orginal BTN2GO app, but I do not have an additional tablet to download and backup/copy apk file. The Nook is not compatible according to google play, but I was able to get BTN2GO to play just fine. Need the tablet version for the landscape view.
Would anyone be able and willing to help me? Thanks
