after reading about how saurike made the program i figured where is the problem
follow theses steps to make cydia works :
1- use any root browser and nevgate into /vendor
2- click add new folder and call it Lib
3- but the permisson of the file "Lib" like the picture :

Any old ios user will know
Its a market which have alot of tweaks and tools and apps that apple wouldnt want it in its store for android it will make the situation easier for developer to port their tweaks from ios to android

I have installed it but I see no apps or tweaks you talking about? the only thing I see is winter board which is already in play store? Am I missing something? I like the sound of this concept. I know thing or two about cydia for iOS. It's all different there.

Consider it a pre-release.
Tweaks don't exist yet, because they haven't been made.

It's a port of MobileSubstrate, not cydia at all guys! You should precise it in OP, the name is cydia-substrate, sauriK probably name it like that for better understanding...
It's a little app that allow us system-wide tweaks, as for example how clipboard works, or apply themes on the go (with winterboard)... It's true we can do a lot with android, but we have to compile those tweaks into ROMs, here we can add tweaks on the go, like CM themes on a stock rooted Touchwiz Rom !
Possibilities are infinite.

I installed substrate, restart 'zygote' (and it rebooted my nexus 4), then installed winterboard, but it said that I must complete Cydia Substrate installation.
I think I already completed it because a notification popped before to ask me reboot. Any idea to make it work?

I also faced the same issue. To fix this first I restored nandroid backup to remove the substrate installation. Then I installed winterboard first, launched it once, then installed substrate..restarted zygote...and voila..winterboard started working!!

I tried this out, and honestly, it's a good concept but I already do everything I need to do with my phone as it is, and a lot easier than using this, the set up was difficult and when I finally got winterboard up and running I then had to find theme chooser themes to download or icon packs, after seeing them up, I enjoyed and it didn't even work :-\ all that pain in the ass hassling around to install everything and it didn't even work ugh, very frustrating... then I noticed it messed something up on my phone and I had a circle with a slash through it where my signal cars should be, I think it messed up my prl or modern because I have my Sprint note 2 flashed to cricket lol... anyways to sum out all up I had to restore a very old backup I had with twrp, and that God because my phone was unable for some time... but hopefully the wrinkles will be smoothed out with this app and it will be easier and more efficient than what I do now... Thanks for your hard work op and I can wait to see what becomes of this, don't give up on our because all of the bad feed back, any feed back is good because you can use it to make this even better!!!

I don't know if u were aware that I had a thread in Wildfire section and now moved here, so Im cooking many apks and i guess wildfire is in one of them, so when i release the apk, u can safely install it (no flash no adb) and see if it works for u! it does not replace your original camera or gallery, its like a different app!
if i were to push it using the adb method it would essentially replace my stock camera though, correct me if im mistaken?

Do u mean the download links are down lol, no I took them off , of course I can, Google is open source. The reason I deleted the links is that i didnt like my work to be modified by some ppl (or be pirated without permission), Im gonna make a note in intro that my work will go on Market soon, some free/donation n some paid versions, and with direct support from my own forum im preparing apps right now n my school started too so i am a bit slow right now
So no .apk yet huh? That sucks. Not sure how you pirate freeware but whatever. Can't wait for it to get loaded onto market.

Any idea when you might be releasing the apk? I wouldn't know how to change anything within the app to begin with, much less would I want to. I really like the look of what you did and would like to give it a go. Oh, and do you have a site that shows all of your work? Thanks!

I just published WB Camera Skin N1 miui is on the market (search for "WB camera skin" in photographic section--if u dont have nexus n miui i dont recommend downloading it, Im gonna get feedback from testers first n then publish. I've found it to be rather addictive! If you see anything unique that looks cool ill give it a shot! The hero keeps dropping on the totem pole but the verdict is out it'll run (almost) anything & everything

I haven't really looked for a sense rom that seems to have something unique. If you come across one, link me to it and ill port it... you have definitely found some awesome roms from the depths of the internets

I know you're focusing on Lewa and Ligux more than Joy, but thought I would still report errors/issues just for development sake.
The only error I've been getting is when my corporate email tries to activate a security protocol. So, at this point I can't get exchange up and running. I'm going to try a cache/delvik wipe and reboot. I'll let you know how it goes.
The other issue I'm running into is the calendar not showing my google calendar appointments. When I click on a date it shows up empty even though the calendar is set to sync in the account settings.
Having fun with this one. Thanks for all the work!

Those would both probably be fixed by replacing the email and calendar apks. I can't remember if they're both themed or not. Ill look into a themed fix

Consider SFM3.0 in the magic thread,nice rom android 2.3.3wit sense 2.1basically like wildheroc only a better version of it.....updated lib files n all.....

pm'd a possible candidate .
Quick question/observation: earlier today I tried to install flash 10.2 on this rom to no avail. I installed a different non market apks just fine and I've even installed the very same flash apk with no problems on other roms. Any ideas on what to do or what the problem is? Should I try to reflash everything?

Since we dont all like tablet mode but might like dual panel for some apps and not for others , I decided to start forcing a few apps to display in dual panel .
what does this means ? well regardless of your resolution ( dpi ) these modded apps will behave as if you had a tablet .
As of now I did these : (attached)
_Gmail (standard and inverted )
_Gtalk (standard and inverted )
I will be posting more .
Notice :Specific dpi per app is possible, but then I would have to make one at every dpi for every phone .. full time job right here (lol) so please dont ask for it..
If these dont work for you . always state your device and rom type ( ie proprietary rom vs aosp base ) fix and how to install will be posted in post #2
If there is interest for the opposite I can as easily force them to NOT be in tablet mode for tablet users or others running tablet mode but prefer single panel look .

if you already have gtalk or gmail installed , you need to remove them first . as signature will conflict .
Gmail installs normaly
Gtalk needs to be (renamed to Talk.apk ) then pushed to system/app , fix its permission then reboot

Works well on lg p 500 running cm10. Just one request though can the dual pane mode be configured in such a way that when we select a action ie select a mail from the inbox to read or compose a mail, the pane on the left be minimised as soon as the choice is made because on small screen phone's like mine it is very tedious to read anything on the right hand side panel.

Getting the 'not installed' screen here: Evo 4G running Team DIRT MIUI Jelly Bean. Tried moving it to /system and setting permissions correctly, that didn't work either. The screenshot looks great, would love to try it!
Personally, I would like a YouTube app that runs in phone mode only for tablets. The default tablet YouTube mode (non Nexus 7) doesn't show enough recent videos. It shows a fixed number, then it ends, while the phone version refreshes quite a bit more as you scroll.

This rom should be mostly stable but help me test for any problems. Also, it should be fine to flash without ROM wiping CM9.

To you It's great to finally see some ROMs being generated from the cm9 base!
I've added this to the ROM list in the "Galaxy Exhibit General thread.
YESS, finished uploading! The problem had to do with a newer version of the Adreno libraries. I fell asleep in my desk then my computer fell asleep too. So that stalled my uploading and I had to re-upload at around 50kbps because of my crappy internet.
Rant finished, try this out please!

Getting ready to here shortly. Can't wait!
Edit: First thing that's a problem is SuperSU, please remove it because it is a major conflict with Super User. Phone is crashing big time because of it.

I think I'm going to use a script to remove Superuser because from a freshly-wiped ROM, SuperSU works fine (tested with Titanium).

BTW Google Now FCing, even after data wipe. I uninstalled with TB, then rebooted. The Google Search bar works again and GNow is gone. I may reflash M7 at a later time to see how it does. Now that the dust has settled, the ROM is operating smoothly. Initial boot was a nightmare however. Probably going back to RR but hey, it's great we are getting more ROMs from folks like yourself.

lol, both of your problems come from the update-script file. The Google Now thing comes from me neglecting to add permissions (I'm a noob). IT TAKES FOREVER TO UPLOAD, I WANT TO REPEATEDLY STAB MY EYES OUT.

About the transparent thing, I'll look into it but I don't even know how to decompile apk files. I'm sure I can learn but if you could guide me or modify it yourself, that would be great. I plan on making an AROMA installer once I do learn how to.
If the uploading is so annoying just upload over night I used to do that when my up speed was slow.

Yeah. It happens all the time most people just bracket it with [REQUEST]. No biggie. This isn't gonna be a port though.

I dont know if this is been mentioned or if it is just me. But auto time zone does not work for me. None of the JB roms work properly in detecting the time zone. It could be me because ultrgen did this the lasttime I flashed it.

Auto time zone has not worked on any custom ROMs I have used. Never noticed, I just set it and moved on.

Auto-time has been irregular for me on ICS/JB... but I haven't been on GB for a while, and I think it happened there once too.
I think some towers aren't properly sending it, and when they 'update' my TZ, I end up on GMT. Then if I wait some more, I hit a different tower and get my normal PST back.
It COULD also have to do with fully disabling location services... if your phone is set to automatically update based on your location, and it doesn't know what your location is... bam! +-0.
But those would be my top 2 guesses for why it irregularly happens to me. Bad towers or disabling location services for battery.

I think that is the problem. Never even thought about that. Since gps is broken it wont work properly. I have a theory that even if wifi is on it wont update because it relies on gps. And this is because even after 10 hours it never updated.
Auto timezone stopped working for everybody after daylight savings time for some reason

man you really outdid yourself
Awesome I like the clean dark theming. Not trying to hi-jack here but, if anyone here can help me I am trying to make a ROM for the SGH-T959V and have been unsuccessful.
I want my own chosen custom apps (Boat browser, root browser, gingerbread keyboard, MX player and Mixzing.) with a dark theme and mod the 4 Icons on home screen dock, debloated and de-odexed with root and CWM Flashable when done. I also have my own boot animation I made and can add myself.
Some of the APKs i put inside my folder i replaced with default system APKs like Mixzing for music player.APK and MX player for Videos.APK they worked but others did not install like gingerbread keyboard.
Trying to figure it out for myself but most of the ROMs I find don't have the right directions for my phone or I don't find a file they tell me exists in specific directories of the Unzipped ROM itself. Like boot.img for instance. I'm just so sick of poking around looking through countless pages of these forums and things for my device and coming up empty handed or short of confidence in the persons ability to even type let alone procure a guide on how to make a whole system function.
I have the Kitchen installed as well as the Java and Android SDKs and ready to start over again as well if that is what it takes.
Help please. I will most certainly add this ROM to your Repository once done with this arduous task. If it helps I have 16 years PC repair and power user experience. So far from a noob, but far from expert in linux or ROM development. -Thanks, R4GN4R
