Galaxy Extreme Shutdown Animation

If anyone need to change a pink shutdown animation, this is from a samsung vibrant Galaxy Extreme Final so thanks to the creator of this..
I'm using root explorer to replace the shutdown file in system/media/video....
well...do it with your own risk!!!!!

srry for my pevious post. I was pasting this file with root ex. and i did something wrong the first time and i thought it was the same as the original vibrant shutdown that airfluip posted in a zip. thanks for posting this! it is dope and beats the old vibrant shutdown.

nexus prime bootanimation with sound for i9003

look new [boot animation] nexus prime with sound
method on Root Explorer
copy sanim.zip to system/media/sanim.zip
permissions for sanim.zip file [rw-r--r--]
copy poweron.wav to system/etc/poweron.wav
permissions for poweron.wav's file [rwxr-xr-x]

The animation works great. If I delete the sound file altogether, will I get a silent startup?

What's the name of the song btw? The power on song sounds awesome!

1st go to root explorer /syetem/etc now u look top on right side [mount r/w] clik on mount r/w now it's in mount r/o. ok now go to poweron.wav and hold on it. u have see options menu u go to permissions
u see some right arrow in boxes ,k 1st row owner fill all three box with arrow
now 2nd row group fill 1 and 3 box , and last row in others fill 1 and 3 box with right arrow. now clik on ok . and check it sound.
sorry for late rplay and bad english.
otherwise boot animtion sound is not play u'll go to cwm recovery mod, go in advence wipe dalvik cache.

sorry sharad i was not check it but it will do by delete this file. and go to sound setting and mute system and midia sound after check...
some body has no boot animation they will try how to play boot animation sound and u have it u r not want to slilent boot animation sound hahaha........

boot animation is superb but bootsound dont match perfetctly with it. Means bootsound is little boring. I had once heared bootanimation in tripin theme. That was super awsom.

codeworkx is already working on cm7. When he will able to port a stable CM7 with camera issue solved then I think we will be listed in official cm7 list.
Regarding boot animation how u reduced size of droid x file? Anyway I used original file directly with renaming it as sanim.zi. Its working surerbly.

Yes you will. Usually do that when I put in custom boot animations over stock ROM!

[MOD] Volume Rocker to skip sound tract for LSC (updated 18/12/2012)

Hi every body,
It seems that I successfully port Volume Rocker to skip sound track to LSC JellyBean ROM.. I can say that it still need more testing and here is your turn comes guys ..
So if you find this mod is doing well, I will post the how DEV part on my other thread on development section..
Note: the file that I modified is android.policy.jar file; so if you have any mod that involves this file, it might be affected!!

I compiled 4-way reboot options, important smalis for ink effect along with volume rocker to skip sound tract inside android.policy.jar as well :good:
You can download the file from attachment bellow and flash in cwm.. take back up just in case!!

I'm using the G2 with the CloudyG3 Rom... This works for me don't for get to set permissions to r-w-r-r 0644 after you copy and paste to media

I have no idea on how to change the boot animation on the G3 but one thing I know: I made those animations for the nexus 5 and that website just stole them... fantastic.

I dropped them a comment under their article. There is a word for what they probably did and I hate that behavior. However, thanks for your work.

Anyway, the one with the black background loads faster

I tried changing the bout animation on my Verizon g3 copy and pasted to system/media and changed the permissions to rw-r-r but it didn't work all it did was eliminate the boot animation all together any ideas on how to change it. It worked fine on my g2

This is a silly question but did you rename it bootanimation.zip ? Watch out for spaces, too !!!!

Ye I did also I did since get it working just last night after I had to do a restore using the tot method I don't know what changed but our works now

Hello guys,
You know this too? You want a new bootanimation for your Samsung Device, but then you realize you cant use Bootanimation.zip files?
Well thats really sad and i had this Problem a long time. BUT now i know how to make .qmg files and i dont want to use it only for myself so i open
this Service for all now. You can now transform bootanimation.zip files to .qmg files. Easy, Free and Fast.
How to start?
Well i will transform it for you, please never forget this that i make this with my own hands and a Programm ^^ so it cant be instant ready.
So you need: A way to upload the File , a bootanimation.zip file with all the 3 Parts in it (part0, part1, part2) and some patience ^^.
First of all send me the File for the Bootanimation.zip file. I will open them and transform them into .qmg files. But please remember:
part0 will be bootsamsung.qmg
part1 will be bootsamsungloop.qmg
part2 will be shutdown.qmg
So please keep this in mind.
AND DONT FORGET: Samsung will AutoFit the .qmg file to the screen. So if the Animation dont have the right Resolution for your Device it could look wreid.:fingers-crossed:
What will happen now?
Your brandnew Bootanimation will be reworked by me and then send to you.
I will answer your Post with the Link to download the qmg files they will be put together in a .rar file btw.
It only takes 1 or 2 Days most of the time. If i need more time i will message you (For example if i have to learn for a Test)
How to use this Files now?
Well there are 2 Ways the
Easy Noob way: Download this App https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tkstudio.sboot give the app Root permission (YES YOU NEED ROOT) and then go to where the files are. and select them in the right order ^^ easy right?.
and the
Pro Funny way: get ES File Explorer copy all the 3 .qmg files and put them to /system/media. Then select every single .qmg animation and go to Properties. Change the permissions to rw- r- r- and ready.
Now restart your Phone and you are fine with your new bootanimation ^^
BUT I WANT SOUND, TOO. HOW CAN I GET THIS?
Well you dont even have to send me the File. You need Es File Explorer for it btw
Just cut a small part from your favourite song or Sound Effect and rename it PowerOn.ogg . Now move it to /system/media/audio/ui and keep pressing on it until the little bar on the bottom appear. Go to More>Properties and change Permissions to rw- r- r- ( At read check all Ticks. And at write check the first tick)
Thats all now restart Phone and enjoy sound!

Hello the Second bootanimation cant work there is only part0. Should i contiune anyway? If yes this will be Bootsamsung.qmg or Bootsamsungloop.qmg. Btw you decide you can also tell me this should be Shutdown.qmg

The Problem isnt that it dont work...
The Problem is that i dont know which part should it be?
Should it be the Bootanimation? The BootLoop animation? Or the Shutdown animation?
