[q] weird problem - HTC Pico (Explorer)

Guys i tried to port sense 5 to pico. Ported it. Deleted bloatwares. Tried to symlink /system/lib to /sd-ext/lib_s. Finished it. Installed successfully but goes to recovery after htc screen. Any advice or solution ?

It means no rom is installed on your phone
try a different recovery or try a logcat

status 7 error & soft brick

Hello all hope you will be able to help me.
Device : Nexus S I 9020
So basicly iam kinda new to whole this world of "android" former Iphone user.
last mounth i got my nexus S wich is my first android phone.
As soon as i got it i started to read guids and etc.
Root the device and ofc the nexy step was trying Rom`s.
but then a problem , every time i try to flash a rom i get status 7 error.
tryed every possible combination of restore / wipe etc...
nothing helped , so i came back to the stock one (backup i made before i started)
after a while i discovered the app Rom mananger , wich install rom update recovery etc...
so i updated my recovery and installed CM7 using it.
used it for a while and went back to the stock.
after cople of days tryed to install MIUI using rom manger every thing went clear and after the intall device reboot it self and then stuck on the Google logo with the lock in the botom of the screen.
and nothing helped since then restore , factory reset/restore / wipe`s etc.
as last resort i tryed Odin and it worked like a charm got my device back and runing.
today i tryed to install a new rom AOASP(i think , or some thing like that) in the first time from the recovery (several times) with every possible wipe.
all the time status 7 error , then went to rom mananger and again same thing.
stuck on the google logo.
now iam gonna use Odin again hope it will work this time too.
Any idea how to resolve it , or why this is happen ?
and how can i resolve the status 7 error and what does it mean ?
Thank you all.
(sorry for this been so long , wanted to give as much details as possible)
at this point i was able to restore my phone using Odin , and then restore it into my stock backup (including all my data and etc...)
but the problem remain the same.
cant install any rom (status 7 error).
and when i try to install any rom using Rom mananger iam stuck on the google logo after the reboot.
so what can i do ?
After you get the error, just go to advanced n report error. Automatically a recovery log will be created on ur SD. Mount SD from recovery and retrieve the log file n post it here. Maybe we can then help you.

here is the 2 files i didnt know wich one is it so i took bouth.
Recovery and report.
hope it will help some how.
You should flash recovery from fastboot first. Then without leaving the bootloader, load recovery n install your rom.
My guess what's happening is that when u r installing from rom manager, upon reboot the stock recovery is being flashed(you being stock). That is the problem.

Another solution easier for you would be:
1) navigate to /Etc and find the file ' install-recovery.sh ' on ur phone using a file explorer.
2) rename it to something else.
3) install rommanager and flash latest recovery through it.
4)install the rom of ur choice.

Problem solved by using Odin ro restore it and after that flash Nanbackup and finally updating the CWM recovery.
If any one get the problem try this
Btw SuperAOSP is GREAT !!!!
gl all.

[Q] My Galaxy Ace is stuck booting at a black screen.

I wanted to install RockoDev's and fuss123 Beats Audio profile on to my phone, could'nt do it the zip way so I used Root Explorer to manually move the files to System/bin, system/lib, system/etc. The instructions says to reboot into recovery, fix permissions and then reboot again. I'm running Cyanogen Mod 7.2 KANG for Galaxy Ace, and now It wont boot its just stuck at a black screen with "ANDROID" written on it. I've wiped my user data/factory reset, ive wiped cache partition and done all the other hardware fixes Ive read elsewhere.
How do I fix it?
Please Help, couldnt find anything that really could help anywhere.

Samsung Galaxy Ace
Cyanogen 7.2 Mod KANG

Thanks so Much
So I should Flash a ROM like the one that came with the phone or another Cyanogen Rom will do? Sorry I dont really get what "Stock Rom" means.
hey guys , try to using samsung application to flash it . or you can flash a new firmware . maybe you wrong installing ROM
NOt sure
Which Samsung Application? All I know is ODIN. The other suggestions i just might try it. What I really want is a way to fix it without flashing.
If you have cwm , try to download other cm and copy with cwm usb mount , and then flash the rom , and it will be ok

SD Card won't mount...Soft Brick?

forgive me if I posted in the wrong place, i'm new to these forums and to custom ROM's.
My friend rooted my HTC S One and installed the latest version of LeeDroid. Since there was no recent updates I wanted to change. I tried to install Dark Jell S Edition but phone wouldn't progress past HTC boot up logo, I reinstalled LeeDroid with no problems. I then followed the instructions to install Paranoid Android but the phone froze again on start up. The problem is I'm getting the "E: Can't mount /sdcard/ problem in CWM recovery v5.8.3.1.
Any advice to a noob?

Anyone else notice that whenever someone has this problem they are always using CWM?
And you are in the wrong forum, if you looked in Q&A the solution you are looking for is stickied.
I had same problem. I just flashed stock recovery and relocked bootloader, and run the HTC ruu program. It helped me.

I got it sorted by installing TWRP via HTC All-In-One kit and re-mounting SD card. However when trying to install LeeDroid the touchscreen was irresponsive. I tried Jell S One and this worked fine however I'm not a big fan of this ROM!

[Q] Superuser not installing

I have one problem. When I try to install new ROM, the recovery (TWRP) says that my device isn't rooted (I tried it on few ROMs, always the same...). Also, in the things that are shown when the ROM is installing (like mounting data, system, installing system files etc.) ins't installing superuser (I think that should be there)
Is there somebody to help me? Thank you...

TWRP search whether the superuser app is install in your phone or not,and roms like cyanogenmod have a inbuilt superuser ,so you should ignore that. :highfive:
But it seems to be.happening only on sense based roms... And it won't boot either I install it or not...

[Completed] Accidentally uninstalled android operating system.

Hi everyone,
I accidentally unistalled my OS android 4.2.2 from my Alcatel one touch pop 7041x. Later i did some research and i found that i could be able to
install MIUI V5 zip rom on my phone. So i dowloaded the new rom. I then booted my phone in recovery mode but there was no option to install zip from sd card. Also, before accidentally uninstalling the OS, USB debuging was disabled. Now the phone is stuck on the alcatel one touch logo in a bootloop.
I don't know what to do, because i already wiped my cache and also i had not backed up my phone.
Is there any way i can install the MIUI V5 zip rom on my phone because my internet is slow and this makes me unable to download the stock firmware android 4.2.2.
Please help me,
thanks.

I'm sorry, but there is currently no development on XDA for your device. You can go to one of the following threads and post your question, and maybe one of the experts can help you.
