Hello, I am using a galaxy note 2 but I don't think the problem is limited to this phone. I've been facing problems of being not able to use Facebook login through other apps, which always return me to this error:
{

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Another problem I face is issues with browsers. It gave me an error when fling Google search, typing in omnibox, searching in Google now. This exist in all browsers, do I believe it's something regarding my internet /settings. However, when I change the user agent on browsers to 'desktop', everything works properly. I'm also facing a problem of not being able to load results using Google now voice action, which I think is somewhat related to this.
I do not know if those 2 errors or related in anyway. I've tried clearing cache or data and reinstalling Facebook or internet or Google now. But no solutions yet.
I would really appreciate any help from the kind community!

When did this start happening? Have you tried a factory reset?
Yet to try factory reset cause I have a lot of things on my phone, and I am not sure how to backup every thing on it.
The problem happened one month ago but I don't remember any exact action I too prior to that. Thanks!

Anybody can help me with this problems? It's making my Facebook unusable other than news feed. I can't do voice search either. I'm going to try a reset soon. However I'm not sure if doing a nandroid backup would work coz if I do a factory reset on the phone and restore a nandroid backup would the problems get restored too?

Yup, happening with me as well...
The comment goes through, you still get that error, and post/comment is not updated...
And if you resend, the comments start duplicating...

It's also happening to me, bit it's okay it show my post in a bit of a second after receiving that error. The tip is, uninstall the facebook app and try downloading it again.

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one it's happening to. It does post your comment, but it is a little unnerving to see the error message!
You could also try going into the app info and (usually under Settings -> Applications or Settings -> Apps) and clearing your cache. If that doesn't work, you can try clearing your data. It might log you out.

I heard of allot of people just using the browser to Facebook. they have less issue than using the app.
Yeah, but the app has push notif. That's why I still use it. And by the way, somehow facebook corrected the issue. It's not showing the error anymore...

I had problems recently with the fb app on my unrooted tablet s , it was fc repeatedly and the only way to stop it was to hard reboot it. So I uninstalled the app and reinstalled and no problems since.
Since starting to use my Nexus 5, I've noticed Google Now seems a LOT less useful than before.
Compare the beginning of the list of cards currently on my Nexus 7 2012:

With the cards on my Nexus 5

Am I missing something obvious here, or is this a massive step backwards? Anyone else seeing this?
It's not just the options, I'm seeing obvious differences between the two devices in terms of cards appearing.
Running both devices in Australia, both with language set to English(UK), both with Google Now's language set to English(AU).
My Everything Else has 16 options. Try clearing data from Google Now and starting over.

I have never seen anything remotely like that in my Google Now!
I think Google just made all of them baked into the KitKat version. everything is based contextually on your usage. So everything is considered on but won't show unless you made a search for it. Example would be if you search Big Bang Theory, it would bring up TV episodes. They're just trying to trim down the fat in the settings.

My Nexus 4 was like that but my Nexus 5 seems to only want to tell me the weather so i have turned it off.
I'm noticing it too. None of my packages are tracking through Google now on my N5, but were on my N4.

It's what I'm hoping is true, but I still suspect (fear?) that I'm missing out on things I otherwise wouldn't have.
I've had it work on several occasions on my phone as a mouse.
So when I hover a menu on say Amazon, it will drop down without clicking it.
I even tested it on a few mouseover test pages and it was working really well.
I'm 100% certain it works I even made a video of it on my friends phone.
I've yet to recognize when this "bug" happens but it happens every now and then.

But when I tried even stock browser not dropping dropdown menu, just magnifieing it...what to say about Chrome
Can any one also confirm that is Air view able to open dropdown menu or show 8ntegrated onfo or links...afik it just magnifyies. Only spen buten opens dropdown menu
Yeah the Samsung browser magnifies but in chrome it acts as a mouse.
I'm on 4.2.2 rooted stock.
Interesting is that it happens even if all air things are disabled.

I haven't used Chrome yet ...
It happens at random for me, I haven't noticed this behavior on the last 2 updates though.
It works on all sites.
Any way I can downgrade Chrome to try and replicate it.
Anyhow, it's definitely possible to get it working, I just figured someone with the knowledge might want to give it a try.

is anybody realy using this?
Destroying my battery life. Never had this before but recently my battery has been utter crap because of this. Always have had the same setup with every ROM I've had with Franco kernel. But this is ridiculous; at this time by 1pm I'd usually have 85-90% but I'm already at 68%. Anyone else have this?

Looks like an issue with Yahoo! Messenger's voice/video plugin
Have you tried uninstalling it or configuring it?
Or do you have any other third party apps that use the camera?
It happened to me multiple times, this is caused by an app using the camera wich crash. For me it was Snapchat, it told me that it could not access the camera so I stopped the app but some hours after I saw that this "mm-qcamera-daemon" killed my battery. After a reboot everything was ok : Snapchat working correctly and no drain.
I think that if you get an app saying that the camera is not accessible, immediately reboot your phone.
it also shows up every time you take hdr photos
Seems like it's snapchat guys. It wasn't able to access camera. Reboot fixed it temporarily but this is annoying as I notice it happens a lot now. Thanks for the info.

Yes. I have this issue, since a few days, too.
There is maybe a bug or something. I found a thread where lot's of people reporting the same issue: http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=60058
In another Thread here, I found some solution possibilities like uninstalling Google Goggles. But it didn't help me.
So if anyone founds a solution how to (manually) fix it, please report. Not using the Phone and have a battery drain of about 50% in ~5h is annoying.
Maybe someone can make an app that detects which app is causing this problem or which can kill the process!?
€dit:
I have neither snpachat nor Yahoo Messanger installed
Google just announced a fix for this bug. Android Central: Google pinpoints Nexus 5 camera/CPU usage bug, fix coming in next Android release. http://google.com/newsstand/s/CBIwzPD-ihI
If this post helped you, feel free to click "Thanks"... Thanks!
I have noticed one of my biggest battery draining apps is the google dialer application.
For some reason it seems to keep the phone awake for hours on end, even when I do not spend very much time on the phone.
Stock, 4.4.3. rooted, thats it.
Any suggestions or ideas? I've tried clearing the dialer's cache and data, but it still keeps the device awake for no reason it seems.
Thanks in advance!
Anyone? Here are some screen shots.

mmh I've never seen that problem.
You could first try clearing data and cache of the app. If that doesn't work, maybe flash the factory images? Just to be sure it's not something on your side.
Hope this helps.

Thanks. Tried both of those. No luck .
I re flashed last evening and the bug is still there

Boot the phone into recovery and then wipe cache and dalvik cache, and then reboot the phone.
I think 4.4.4 addresses this issue, you should make a clean installation of the factory image (again) and see how it goes.

Will report back. So far so good..... But I will confirm.

OK SO i think i MAY have figured out this bug.
I use the search function in the dialer app all the time for work. I call a lot of businesses in the area and i always use the dialer to look up their numbers. This is what I think causes the wakelock, as it triggers a search and looks up local businesses matching the number.
I've turned off this feature in the app, as well as the caller ID function and so far i am not having any issues. Will report back.
Just an update. I can trigger this bug in any ROM, including cyanogen mod and also paranoid android.
Here is the solution until Google offers a fix:
By leaving the above options unchecked, the wake lock will not trigger.
