Hey,I know a fair amount about the non stock roms and kernels, but I would like to install a stock based rom that is pre rooted and supports ir blaster, I never really have gave the stock Rom a fair shake...
So suggestions as to which to install?
Thanks in advance

Try Ripper. It's been working great for me on P3113. Nice and solid stock-based ROM, rooted (with SuperSU), IR blaster works (with Peel app). I read some people are saying you need to change the model in build.prop from 3110 to 3113 for IR blaster to work, but I didn't have to do that, it just works...
Thank you tried it then reverted back to cm10.1, I guess I am just too much of a creature of habit to change

It's funny how it works for different people... For me, it's just the opposite - I can't force myself to like CM or AOSP/AOKP ROMs. Every time I try them (and I tried a lot of them on my two devices), I end up going back to one of my favourite stock-based ROMs...
If there were an app that controlled my mouse and my tv at the same time....then ir blaster would be worth it...

I can try again. If you want.
Anyways. a good one would be ripper rom. Change model number in build.prop to GT-P3113 and it will work.
Or MicroDelta. Not Tab2Lite its outdated and mic doesn't work.

No need. On my device, IR blaster works as is, with P3110 in build.prop.
Yes I did not need to change the build settings to try it

i use an older version of redemption rom, awesome stuff
I have not used a custom rom on my note yet and would recommend stock rom but if you want custom rom cm is the best but wait for the stable mode to be out currently the nightly is out which has issues as it is under developement
But with CM you will lose spen and multiwindow support

I've been using Something ROM, which is a TouchWiz based ROM with some light theming . It is JB based and is EXTREMELY stable on the N8013.
Well i updated the nighties and now the camera is working but cant use the peel app or the spen apps either way it sucks because jellybean is now rolling to US Note 10.1 GT8013, now i am stuck because i cant find the firmware on samobile either way if this tablet didnt have a ir this would of been great.
jcesar085 check again, it is out there. Got mine last night. Both SamMobile and sumsung-updates.com have it.
I don't care about s-apps, but the multi-window is really usefull :/
AOSP + Multi-Window would be great
Maybe someday someone will do a "de-touchwitz" rom (erasing all non-necessary for still having m-window) ?

You can try the discontinued Cyan by skullface here (which works on my 9105 although said to be only for the P version) or just wait patiently.

@fayez107
Yeah, my phone is the non-P. Apparently, the phone ignores the nfc files or the nfc files are missing - the P users reported non-working nfc. (not sure which of the 2 reasons) so that's why skullface's port works for the non-P.
In theory, custom roms are made to enhance user experience, offering certain improvements like smoothness, better battery consumption, extra features, cosmetics, etc. But it's entirely up to you. You'd have to test them and see which works best for you. Some people prefer stock rom. This is all mostly what I gathered from searching and reading xda, I'm still new to Android too and still learning things. Plus there hasn't been many custom Roms to play with, at least not yet.
Edit: I think we should let this thread die off since the op's query has been answered and the topic has derailed. In case some newbie wanders in and gets the wrong idea from reading the last 2 or 3 posts and flashes a rom meant for the S2

Hello people,
I've been searching for a good ROM for my note 10.1 3G edition that enables all the options of S-Pen including ignoring palm touches. I've tried a lot of ROMs like CM and HD revolution. CM lacks S-Pen support and HD revolution was 4.1.2.
Can you suggest some ROMs that are based on 4.2.2 or above, and in the main time can handle the S-Pen properly?
Or at least if there are some apps on market that can add the S-Pen support to CM?
Thanks in advance!
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but can't you just flash a 4.2 kernel over ARHD?

You can replace a kernel by another one without altering the rest of the system, but I'm not sure whether all kernels can be flashed on top of any firmware.

I just don't think there is a strong want for touchwiz. It would take a lot of work to get it going. I would suggest finding a blaze dev that would do it and get some donations together.
Yeah the chops needed to craft JB TW on the Blaze are well beyond me. I started updating and further tweaking the ICS-based rom I put together, but I'm not a real dev, just a smali-hack sort that focuses primarily on tinkering with carrier-pushed stock packages.

Sure (that's what I was thinking), but it would likely need to be from a similar device (or at least much easier if so) - still out of my skillset though, and from my understanding they can be painful to pull off (disclaimer: never did one so I don't know - the exhilerate one doesn't count as I did next to nothing for it).

Well for the blaze.. Not currently... If you're asking about a 4.3 version of Remics-JB, im not sure either, as since the only way i knew about it was cause of my galaxy player, which I traded for store credit..
