100$ to whoever can help me solve this (NO JOKE)

i have already checked xda for a solution but couldnt find one i even checked google and youtube and still found nothing i am in need help bad. i will even pay someone paypal if they can help me with my phone
i downloaded the matrix rom and i liked it but i wanted to go back to ice cream sandwhich for the day so when i tried to go to recovery it froze on the google screen while trying to get to recovery i kept trying and trying but my recovery wasnt working i couldnt get to it. so i went to titanium back up and clicked un-install all system and data because i thought it was when i restored all system and data from ICS but after i did the uninstall i kept getting a force close alot of things and i got all the way down to one and it was process.android i think and everytime i clicked force close it popped right bacj up instently. so i took out the battery and put it back in and now i cant power on my phone it gets stuck on the matrix screen. can you please help me i can only acces the volume up power button menu.

Fastboot OEM lock. Fastboot OEM unlock and start the process all over again. Also wipe everything 3 times.
Including system and boot.
Also double check you're installing all the compatible zips.

it wont let me do any of that it keeps saying waiting for device then gets stuck on that ive installed pdanet but it keeps giving me a htc sync error =1 and my bootloader and everything was already unlocked i dont know what to do i cant turn my phone on or get to recovery. thats why im paying 100 dollars to anyone who can help me restore my phone and make sure its up and running ive been trying for 2 days now and thats my work phone and everything im stressed

when i turn on the phone and it keeps trying to load the matrix animation the phone still connects with my computer and says removable disk f but when i try and click on it. it says please insert a disk into removable disk f

Hmm uninstall all the USB drivers and reinstall them

at the bottom of my phone screen it says fastboot statud - FAILInvalid command

If you have the SDK installed on your computer. Here is what you need to do in order to get back into recovery.
#1 Boot your phone into bootloader, Vol up and power
-Plug into computer using usb while in fastboot(bootloader) and see if it recognizes it. Type adb devices it should list a serial number for your device.
( My SDK is installed in c:\android\) so you would type something like cd c:\android\tools and hit enter and then type adb devices )
#2 If you have installed sdk and pdanet drivers and your computer still does not see your phone in fastboot is this. Go to the folder where sdk is installed and copy everything excluding the folders that is in the Platform-tools folder into the tools folder. After that download Stock Phone files unzip it into a folder on desktop.
Dont run the script yet, what you have to do is after you unzip the stock look in the folder you just unzipped them in and you should see a file called fastboot, adb, and some other .dll's AdbWinApi.dll and etc move only these 4 files to your sdk tools folder.
#3 Now re open a cmd prompt and go back to c:\android\tools (enter) then type in adb devices and your computer should recognize it this time around.
Then all there is left to do is download the recovery of your choice here's mine Recovery and after you download it rename it recovery. After you rename it move it to sdk tools folder and while still in fastboot(bootloader) type in fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
You should now be able to enter recovery and flash roms again

Make sure you are using the most up to date drivers and then use ADB to install recovery again. If I'm understanding it right I think that's what you need to try.

after i type adb it says adb isnt recognized as a internel or external cammand operable program or batch file

Ok I don't know if you tried this already but do this:
1. download the recovery img from here:
http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Ne...de#Installing_the_ClockworkMod_Recovery_Image
and put it somewhere on ur computer
2. plug phone into comp
3. boot the phone into the fastboot mode with the android guy
4. fastboot erase recovery
5. fastboot flash recovery ____.img
and if you can boot into recovery now, just wipe data, cache, and dalvik cache and flash the ics rom
see if that helps

I suggested this about 7 hours and 3 threads ago.. I think the problem is either he doesn't have the proper drivers or SDK setup properly.

This leads me to believe that SDK isn't set up properly. If it's set up correct you should be able to access adb without the phone even connected.

[Q] CMW (internal storage) no ROM (on SD) on TF101 b80

hi! my apologies but i searched and read alot of post already on how to solve this.
i flashed Roach latest CMW how ever being so stupid i forgot to put a ROM on internal memory. did full wipe already and i have no ROM to flash as it reads internal memory only.
ive read alot of post regarding the concern, i want to try to push a ROM on internal drive using ADB but when i run "adb devices" nothing is found.
any suggestions or any links to posts that i might get help or tutorial. im not an expert on using ADB so keep instructions simple, im a noob i admit it but i just need help. thanks!

Did you ever get ADB working before all this? USB debugging usually have to be turn on by the user. In Settings>Developer options.

i havent with my tablet but with my htc desire hd i used adb. and when ever i flash a ROM on my tf i usually turn on usb debugging always. right now in on recovery roach r2. my ROM is on my external memory. also tried to do a nvflash how ever whenever i run the download.bat cmd opens then closes 3 secs maybe

i also got a new sdk from this forum " [GUIDE] Getting ADB Setup; An Idiots' proof guide on getting ADB working for Rooting!" as ave said above when i type "adb devices" its just blank and does not list any device.

I had exactly the same problem - I'm not sure about tablet version that I own, but I've flashed Wipe Lite and new Recovery. I also have HTC phone that I've been using on the same PC .
I've spent an hour trying to get my TF back on feet and I managed it.
I would recommend uninstalling all HTC and ASUS software and drivers, rebooting PC and installing just ASUS PC Suite. It worked in my case - suddenly Device ID showed up for a few seconds before ADB reported "no device" again.
So I've pushed Rogue XM Recovery to data/media:
adb push roguexm data/media
Of course use name of zip file instead "roguexm" in command above.
After that zip file showed up on sdcard and I could flash it - it doesn't support AROMA but it works quite fine otherwise.

I once were in your case, did full wipe and forgot to put a Rom in internal memory. But in my case I just rebooted the transformer and all of a supprise, my tablet reverted to the stock Rom! I dont know how this happend but may be Asus did something to keep stock Rom persistent whatever you have flashed roms or CWMs.
So i hope this also happened in your case, just give it a try. Good luck!

If he did "Full Wipe - factory reset" then he should be able to boot HC/ICS and from that copy files onto internal /sdcard.
But if he used Android Revolution Super Wipe script either Lite or Full then he has nothing to boot into, no system at all - I've done that Only thing that left was recovery without external sdcard support, so I had nothing to install...
ASUS and HTC drivers have some issues and make everything harder than it should be, that's why I recommend to uninstall all HTC and ASUS software, rebooting PC and installing ASUS PC Suite only, to have "clean" drivers on PC.
I've tried different drivers and none of them worked, until I've done that.
Ok, I'll try to write it simple, I'm not sure if I can post links so just in case I'll give thread names. If it will be too simple don't get mad - ok?
1. Uninstall ASUS and HTC software, reinstall ASUS software like mentioned above.
2. Create folder on your C: drive called CWM
3. Go to post "Eee Pad Transformer Android Development\[Recovery] Rogue XM Recovery v1.3.0 (CWM-based Recovery v5.0.2.7" thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1446019
and "save as..." cwm_recovery-5027_rogue_rburrow-tf101-r1.zip to C:\CWM
4. Highlight/select command below:
adb push cwm_recovery-5027_rogue_rburrow-tf101-r1.zip data/media
then right click on it and select "copy" - it will save you typing it later.
5. Boot Recovery on your Transformer and connect it to PC, let system install device drivers
6. Click START, "Run...", type: cmd
7. It should show you path to your profile folder - C:\Users\yourname>
8. Type: cd /CWM
it will change folder to C:\CWM>
9. type: adb devices
(it should give you your device ID, if it still will give "no device id" then there I can't help you - I'm sorry)
10. right click on black background and select "paste" (you'll see command that you've copied from number 4), then press enter
11. It should copy recovery onto your internal sdcard - you will be able to select it from tablet
12. type adb kill-server and disconnect tablet, install new recovery and from that one you will be able to select external or internal sdcard
Notes:
I don't know why but I was able to send only small file from CWM-adb connection, it kept disconnecting quite quickly that is why I recommend sending Rogue XM Recovery instead of whole new ROM.
Other thing - it may depend on what windows system you have - I'm on Win 7 x64 (don't remember how it worked on other versions) and I can paste onto cmd (black) window without problems from right click menu. If you won't be able to paste there or you'll get some rubbish, try to right click on top bar and select "Edit" and then "Paste".
Ok, that's all. Hope it will work.

thanks for all inputs. i did a full wipe but not as scripts. i wiped manually. i did try to reboot but stuck as eepad screen. will try to re-install asus drivers and uninstall htc ones. hopefully i get it done today. i will update later...

still no luck. device not found. im going to try to install new sdk... i hope it works. ive already removed htc sync and drivers. also re-installed asus sync and updated drivers. on device manager detects on other devices transformer but drivers are not installed.

yahoo! got it working now. i had to enable adb usb Drivers for Nvidia Tegra based Android Tablets and re-install SDK download android usb and learn What Is ADB And How To Install It With Android SDK.
finally got my tablet working again and my first thing to do is have a copy of a ROM and CWM in both storages!

OMG yes i know im a newb but there is a first time for everybody for anything.
So i'm trying to unlock, root, install cwm and install custom roms but ive looked at all the instruction from many thread and a lot of them had missing steps
Anyways, i've downgraded from JB to 4.0.3, rooted, unlocked and now i'm trying to install CWM. So i installed android SDK and all tools, i've put recovery image in same folder as fastboot.exe, i've booted the tablet and selectied USB icon but wtf do i do now??
I'm basically here:
** FastBoot Method **
1) Install Android SDK
2) Download CWM Recovery image from the original thread and check the MD5 sum (don't skip MD5 check,is there to make sure the file is not corrupted)
3) Copy the downloaded file in the same directory as your fastboot.exe (unless you have /platform-tools in PATH then you can flash from anywhere)
4) Turn off your device and boot into fastboot mode (power on while holding volume down, then select the usb icon and hit volume up to confirm)
5) Plug the device into your computer
6) Run the following command via the command line:
fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot reboot
Where do i get this command line?? is it command line from windows such as CMD?? cause if it is, i've tried it and nothing. Do i have to point to where is the recovery image?? change directory to the folder the recover/fastboot is in, using the CMD on windows. So:
"cd C:\Users\Patrick\AppData\Local\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools"
make sure the recovery is called "recovery.img" and that its in the "platform-tools" folder alongside the fastboot.exe, then run the commands:
"fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash recovery recovery.img"
and
"fastboot reboot"

Yes, command line is in your PC. The location of the fastboot.exe located in c:\android-sdk\platformtools (if you install from sdk).
On your PC, open CMD and navigate to the above directory where fastboot.exe is. Make sure your recovery.img in also copied to this same folder. Now you can execute the fastboot comand:
fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot reboot

I think it's easier for you to download Voodoo OTA root keeper to preserve root, then upgrade to JB, then use OTA root keeper to restore root. After this you can install TWRP recover by download goomanager from the play store and install it, once you have twrp, you're home free.
Currently you are on ICS, becareful if you use a wrong version of cwm you could brick your device. Many ppl installed ICS cwm version then upgrade to JB without the right version and they bricked.

when you are in the fastboot folder, you have to press control & right click inside the folder, and you will see the option to open a terminal.

If it makes you feel any better I had a heck of a time with this myself.
Once I realized I had platform tools in a folder on my PC desktop with the command prompt
in it I was able to flash.
Gotta say it wasn't easy to figure out in bits and pieces.

Thanks guys, you've been REALLY helpful! I completely forgot about the shortcut to open cmd in a folder, and i'm not sure if you were wrong or its because im on windows 8 but its ctrl + shift + right click
EDIT: now i get a problem, it do all this and i get "waiting for device"
i tried different USB ports, same deal...any ideas?

I'm having this exact same problem but changing USB ports is not working for me and I tried everything else. Would it help if I tried a different computer?

I don't mean to threadjack, but this portion of your post caught my attention.
I just swapped a prime for an infinity. I rooted, installed rootkeeper, preserved root, upgraded to JB and restored root.
Are you saying I can install goomanager and update recovery without unlocking via the Asus tool?
If so, sweet!

No. You will still have to unlock the bootloader to install a custom recovery, unfortunately.

How can I flash a stock ROM considering I cannot boot the phone up normally in order to put the file onto the phone? The Moto G has no external storage so I can't use an SD card.
I get get into the bootloader, and I have managed to install Team Win Recovery Project but don't know what else to do!

Disclaimer : I have not used TWRP recovery on Moto G. So may have errors in my post
You have 2 options.
1. On some versions of TWRP, under advanced you have an option to mount USB. You can the access the phone as a drive from a computer.
2. Use ADB to push file to the phone. Install drivers and ADB works in recovery,

Thanks I actually found out about the adb push thing just after making this thread. I was able to push Beanstalk onto the device and install it through TWRP, however it's just stuck on the Beanstalk bootscreen forever. I tried installing it again and the same thing is happening. This also happened earlier when I tried to install Cyanogenmod

Once when i wanted to flash Stock 4.3 i got also stuck in bootanimation.
To restore Stock i had to execute flashall.bat /eu. The option /eu erases userdata. Once i did this my phone booted without any issues.
So what you can try is to erase userdata via fastboot or cwm

I tried one final Hail Mary before going to be last night, erased all data and installed Cyanogenmod again and I'm pleased to say it worked!
Only downside is I've lost all my apps & data. Now I did back these up using Titanium, and stored them on Google Drive, however the reason I got into this mess in the first place is because I manually flashed the 4.4.2 update, which worked ok, but then when I restored my apps/data with Titanium my soft buttons (back button etc) disappeared!
I guess I'll just play it safe and not try to restore the back up this time.

Not exactly an expert myself but look for a download of 'Fastboot', it should have a program called adb.exe or abd-windows.exe. Turn on your phone while holding the Volume Down button and it should start into the bootloader screen, plug in the USB and it will say it's connected.
Then you go to the folder (on your PC) that has adb.exe - put your ROM .zip into this folder - then hold shift and right-click somewhere inside the folder (not on a file) and choose "Open command window here".
Then you just type "adb push ROM.zip /sdcard" where ROM.zip is the name of the zip file. note: you might have to type adb-windows instead, depends what .exe you have
Then just wait until it finishes transferring. Will take 30 secs or so for a 200mb ROM.
I'm sure if you google "adb push" you'll get some better instructions, with downloads etc

While reverting to stock it's important to use mfastboot(moto-fastboot) instead of normal fastboot. Download mfastboot.exe and place in adb folder, and replace 'fastboot' commands with 'mfastboot'

I own a Asus EeePad Transformer TF101 tablet. I have accidentally bricked my tablet (wiped out the Android operating system) whilst attempted to upgrade to Android 4.4.
I have contacted various IT Repair services, but they have been unable to repair the tablet. It is regrettable that the tablet cannot currently be repaired because it is a lovely machine.
Please could you let me know if there are any Android experts who can help me? Your support is much appreciated.

Yes, I've tried another SD card and tried reformatting in different ways too (e.g. FAT and FAT32) but no luck

Ok so there might be a problem with the sdcard reader or maybe with the recovery. But anyway you should be able to use adb to push a rom to your transformer when booted in recovery mode.

I've tried Easyflasher and other things but no luck. The recovery won't mount the SD card.
I haven't tried adb - apparently it's very complicated to do and I'm not exactly the most technically gifted person!

I've read the instructions on a Forum here. I'm not confident about using adb so if you have easy to follow instructions it's much appreciated

Even easier you could use adb to push the newest twrp and use the built-in MTP function so you could see your tablet as a Storage device on windows, then drag and drop a rom to your internal storage and flash it.
So make sure you have all you drivers installed for the tf101 on your computer
download and install "minimal adb and fastboot"
download twrp 2.8.1.1 and save it in the same folder where you have installed minimal adb and fastboot"
Boot your phone in CWM recovery
In the folder where you have installed minimal adb and fastboot, hold left SHIFT and right click a blank space in that folder, select "open a command prompt here".
in the command prompt, type:

adb devices
you should see an output like this

List of devices attached
(your tf101 serial number) recovery
If yes then proceed with the next step, if no, post back here.
in the command prompt, type this:

adb push signed_twrp-2.8.1.1_tf101.zip /sdcard
and wait for the output, something like

1330 KB/s (5215688 bytes in 3.828s)
then in cwm, select "install zip from sdcard" and navigate to find "signed_twrp-2.8.1.1_tf101.zip" and install it.
then power off your tablet and reboot in recovery mode again, but this time you should boot in TWRP 2.8.1.1
when booted in recovery (TWRP) You should see your tablet as a storage device in windows, so all you need to do from there is to drag n drop a rom like this one to your device in windows and install it using twrp.

Well all you need to do is to push a rom to your tablet using adb, which should be done when booted in recovery mode. Don't even need to use an sdcard. I don't have any other ideas except finding another IT or a friend that know how to use ADB. Or you could send it to me but im near Montreal so I don't think it will worth it vs shipping cost.
Btw im using this method to flash roms on my gf's transformer without issue (the sd card port is damaged so I can't use sd cards)

Thanks for the prompt response. So the Repair Man should follow through steps 1-7. What happens at Step 8? Is this where he would push a ROM to the tablet using ADB - instead of using CWM?
