I'm looking for the best custom ROM for the Verizon Samsung Galaxy SIII (SCH-I535) to maximize the battery life of the phone. Prefferably something close to the Jelly Bean OS.
I get good battery life with CleanRom, as always YMMV.
The only way you will know is to backup and try them. No one knows but you.

Hi guys!
I have Rasbean Jelly at the moment, but I'm thinking of changing to Slim Jelly because of the additional options it offers. I'm kind of pleased with the smoothness of Rasbean though, did anyone already test both of them? Wich one is better in your opinion, in smoothness and battery life.
Thanks!

Well, I ended up changing to Slim Jelly, and it's without a doubt the fastest ROM I've had in my NS. The extra RAM available is all it takes to make the device fluid, even with a some open apps. I don't know about the battery yet, but It seems to me that I'm not going to need to change ROM's anymore. Keep in mind that Rasbean Jelly is a very fast ROM, but I'm way more pleased with Slim Jelly.
Hope this helps anyone who was having the same doubts I was!
Cheers

I, like many other Android users love how much rooting your phone opens up the customization by flashing ROMs and such.
I have a Samsung Galaxy s3 SGH-i747 with Bell but it is the same as the American AT&T SGH-i747.
So what I am wondering is if anyone knows the best ROMs that features these:
-Great battery life!! ***** this is a big one!!!
-Running Jellybean 4.1 or 4.2
-Running the AOKP/CM theme engine*
I am running JELLYBEAN 747 ver1 and the battery life is alright, I can't have my brightness above 10% and data/wifi on without it dropping 10 percent every half an hour. while playing some games, the percentage drops about a percent a minute. It is a fairly good ROM otherwise but I would really like the theme engine that I used to be running on my original Galaxy S i9000.
Thanks in advance!!!!
Hey guys, could you recommend any roms for the international s3, because i currently have cyanogenmod 10.1, and the battery life just isn't long enough for me. I have tried other modded stock roms and the battery life was great, but the performance was not anything compared to cm 10.1 . I was just looking for a inbetween-sort of rom. Thanks!
I suggest you spend some time going through your device-specific forums to see what's available and give some of them a try

I am about to get a new phone (now because I cracked the screen on my LG E980...) namely to have a better experience in customizing, etc.
I am aware that the S5 has somewhat better performance than the S4, but I am more interested in the options for ROM development and customize-ability. First off, what is the appropriate model name for the S4? (I'm on AT&T) Wondering this for compatibility purposes.. Also are there any software updates I should avoid? Will I need to go back to any old firmware/software version(s) to have better luck rotting or installing ROMs/recoveries?
Any insight appreciated, thanks!

I had an s3 t999 and broke the screen. Loved it! Stable ROMs galore!
I went out and went to the S5 g900T! I love AOSP ROMs and there are no stable AOSP roms. I have trouble getting text messages. Even after i updated bootloader modem. I've tried every rom. Mabye in a few months I will like it
BUT
After having it for about 4 months I just went out 3 days ago and purchased an S4 M919 aand so far I love it. Works greeat and there are a ton of ROMs.
I like checking every ROM out so I might not be the best person to ask because I didnt spend a lot of time on the stock ROMs.
I have a sprint galaxy s5 and i was just looking for suggestions on what touch wiz roms to try, can anyone give me some suggestions and opinions on this thanks.
