Hey guys, could you recommend any roms for the international s3, because i currently have cyanogenmod 10.1, and the battery life just isn't long enough for me. I have tried other modded stock roms and the battery life was great, but the performance was not anything compared to cm 10.1 . I was just looking for a inbetween-sort of rom. Thanks!
I suggest you spend some time going through your device-specific forums to see what's available and give some of them a try

Hi there
I have an HTC Desire HD, currently running CM7.0.3 ROM. Its my first ROM I have used and it seems to be one of the popular ones. I'm loving the speed my phone is now running at, and the smooth UI, But there is one big problem since I have flashed this ROM, My battery life is ridiculous. 3 hours of usage and its down to 15%, Im charging my phone twice a day and its about 2 months old.
Stock android had excellent battery life. Now besides the battery life I am kinda bored with the ROM now.
I'm looking for advice on which ROM you recommend, There are so many, I just want some personal opinions.
This is what I am looking for in a ROM:
GOOD BATTERY LIFE
Stylish panels and buttons
Must be based on the latest Android software
Overclocking options
Smooth and fast running
Ag hell, If you know of an excellent ROM with Excellent battery life then let me know. Please post a link to its page and why you love it.
Thanks!
Coredroid are a great set of roms for the desire ...ive been using them for a while and they have never failed me
HELLO
I have been thinking about installing the new 4.2.1 and therefor i guess its gonna be CM10. But i am very interested in performance, so my question is if its a fast or a slow ROM. Im currently using CleanROM, pretty happy with it so far
CM10.1 on my s2 is pretty fast and very stable.. very good battery life. Also, Samsung is being very stingy with their sources for Jellybean unlike Asus, so I would imagine that 4.2.1 would be pretty slick on our tablet.
I'm about to pass on my beloved Nexus S to my best friend complete with cm 10.1. He asked me if I could optimize the phone so whilst performing good enough, has the best battery life available. He's already going to buy a new battery for it. However I know kernels too can dramatically enhance the runtime of the phone.
So, with that in mind, what is the best, stable, kernel for the Nexus S, that is also compatible with CM 10.1 stable?
I tried a few kernels in the past but always settled for stock cm, even though I understand more battery optimized kernels are out there.
Thanks for reading.
I used Mathkid's Matrix v.25 kernel. I love the voodoo colors and sound.
I'm not comfortable with the ROM I have right now (resurrection remix) and several things actually don't work properly. So I'm running an rooted Samsung galaxy s 4 mini and I'm looking for a rom for daily use cthat of course offers stability, high customizability and possibly as many features as possible. Customization and stability is the most important for me. Anyone know a good one?
I don't have a specific rom to suggest... check out the device forum and read posts from folks who have first hand experience with your device... but in a general sense I've had great luck with the cyanogenmod releases. The stable releases are typically solid and well built, it might e a good place to start.

you cant really ask that, as there is no answer, really. every single person looks for differing features and abilities. whats great for you could be very terrible for me. same with performance and battery, we all use our device differently. if you want an answer based on truth, then i would try both roms for several days, then decide which one i liked most.
