I've been looking for a week to find a how-to to makes the changes necessary to add a toggle mod to an existing modded SystemUi.apk.
Does anyone know where I might find it or knows how to do so ? I don't want it done already as I want to do it myself. I'm on 4.1.2 MB1
Thanks !

I've been using xUltimate to deodex and zipalign system apps after getting root on stock roms. Just wondering, for you guys who are creating your own roms on the Infuse, is there a more generally accepted / proper way to do this? Or, if this works, is this acceptable?
Okay, easy enough, found my answers in the links below if anyone else ever wonders about this. I'll do better to look before I post questions like this in the future.:
Manual deodex - http://code.google.com/p/smali/wiki/DeodexInstructions
Manual zipalign - http://developer.android.com/resources/articles/zipalign.html
xUltimate just automates this, so it looks like it will really be up to personal preference as to whether one does this manually or with an automated tool.
Hey guys,
I have started creating icons and am going to construct a theme soon.
What I would like to know is it possible to make an Update.zip that will flash multiple .apks (custom widgets & launchers) ??
or is there a way to combine .apks into one .apk?
If either methods are able to be done can someone please direct me to a guide?
I recently flashed the 4.1.2 leak for Verizon I535 and I am looking at trying to mod it. I really like the setup of Wicked Sensations and Goodness and would love to have some of the options that are incorporated there on my stock rom. Such as, status bar setups (icons, toggels, pull down image capability, etc.). I have tried changing out the systemui.apk, and the framework-res.apk both with no luck. I used ninjamorph to extract and compile the projects but each time when I reboot and fix permission I get bootloop. If anyone knows of a way that I can theme my stock 4.1.2 leak or if Wicked Sensations Rom or Goodness can give me any advice that would be great. I would really like to be able to use the Kuban Updater or the Goddness Updater on the stock 4.1.2 that would be ideal. Thanks in advance.

Mods, Please delete thread if possible I figured out my answer.
Hello xda,
I was wondering if I could just replace the system lockscreen apk with the lollipop (or even marshmallow) AOSP one?
Will this cause any incompatibility with the settings, or even worse?
Have some people already tried? if no I'm just going to make a nandroid backup and see if it works. And then post it here.
I ask it here because I could not find any thread about this, although quite some Google searches are being made about this.
Thanks in advance,

It will require smali coding
Hi.. I am new here give address by other awesome member of yours..
I want to know if is possible to change or personalize your OS on you samsung S7.. ??
If I ask the wrong question sorry to the administrators..
Other wise thanks in advance..
Certainly. You may just want to make minor changes, then find a custom launcher, prettify it with icon pack and cool wallpapers. If you want deeper changes, I'd suggest to find a custom ROM that satisfy your needs(there are lots on the internet, I've found King of Nougat ROM after quick search on XDA). Then you have to flash it on your phone. Beware and read carefully installation instructions, otherwise you may get a brick. Then look for some customization tools such as Xposed.
Good luck.
Thanks HenriDellal appreciated your answer.. awesome I will research..
Great !!!
