[Q] PA ROM' for Skyrocket - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727

Good evening I make this post to see if I can use on my Samsung Galaxy SII Skyrocket Rom PA ("Paranoid Android") the latest version. Many Thanks for your help.

There are no 4.2.2 builds. Only test builds as there is a storage issue that no one has found a solution to yet. Your best bet if you want paranoid, is to check out the pacman ROM.

[Q] Cyanogenmod9 Stable Release?

I read that Cyanogenmod 9's official stable build has been released, Now with my Infuse could I just go to Cyanogenmod.com and d/L the stable build for the Galaxy S and flash it with no problems? ...Or does it need to be specifically ported to the Infuse for it to work?

Cm9 went stable for the official devices, and our Infuse is not one of them.
A Galaxy S Rom will not work, it must be built specifically for the Infuse.
Entropy's CM9 is very near to "stable" status, he just has to finish some details and then he may decide to declare it official.

I've been using the unofficial CM9 port for about ten days. (look in the development forum)
I haven't had any random freezes or problems. Everything seems to work except for the few things noted in the thread.
The only problem I did have was trying to back up with ROM manager. Don't do that. backup in recovery. I got stuck in a boot loop and had to re-flash. That was my error not the ROMs

Where in he heck is the official aokp rom????

I cannot find it anywhere and yes I did search. A lot! All I found was jelly bean builds. I want the stable ics build. Links please. Thanks

There is no "official aokp" for our phone, but the t989 is officially supported by white hawk. The hardware is almost identical so R4IN has been porting it.
Search with Google and use xda plus keywords, it'll save u time bro.
Also if u want ICS based aokp the two ROMs u can choose from are "AOKP flashback" by team PTSD, or chimera 2.2C

U can get Milestone 6 for our Skyrocket. Just google it. I'm not sure why there never was a thread for it.

Go to aokp.co and download Milestone 6. That's the officially supported ICS version of AOKP for the Skyrocket. There is no official JB build yet.

I've been on official ms6 for months now. What's the game changer in r4ins build that would make me want to switch?

More powerful and super fast and smoother than ics, it is the best AOKP jellybean, but since its unstable you may experience hard reboots and bugs.

Rom Question

Not sure if this belongs here or not but....I am looking for a rom that is 4.1.1 or 4.1.2 based with Samsung apps (I like them) and runs on 8013. I have been trying to decifer what is currently in rom area. I do understand that AOPK is not what I'm looking for but no all of these say what their based on.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Verizon Samsung GS III JB 4.3 rom

Is there any good JB 4.3 roms that are stable for the GS 3 yet? Maybe I am missing something looked around but didn't see anything..
There is 1 in android development & numerous Roms in original development

Dude these roms are new so none are stable now but will be in due time. You should have to know by now that most AOSP Roms are not stable upon first release.
I think the official CM 10.2 rom is pretty legit, no issues for me on the latest nightly so far.

I agree. I'm also running CM10.2 8/15 nightly without any major issues.
There is:
CM10.2 Unofficial
CM10.2 Official
SlimRom
ParanoidAndroid
Carbon
All really good, but to me they are not 99% stable enough for me to run as a daily. I say about 1-2 more weeks we will be more better with the ROMs and their stability.
