Confused about Verizon TP2 on T-Mobile - Touch Pro2 CDMA

Hello,
I am getting an HTC Rhodium that is from Verizon. I currently have T-Mobile and I am wondering what the steps are to get my T-Mobile SIM running on it. Could someone please give me detailed steps on how to use the Verizon phone on T-Mobile's network?
I've been here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=594862.
Thank you,
TheAH

That thread covers it pretty well. Need to do the SIM unlock, and you won't have 3g.
What else do you need?

Unlocking with Code (Tilt 2)

GSM?
The AT&T Tilt 2 is a GSM phone, so the CDMA section is not a good place to look for answers.
However....talk to friends/family/co-workers: someone will have T-mobile sim you can borrow for a few minutes. I finally got my in-laws to part with an old Cingular sim to do my testing (I'm a Tmobile customer).

Telus (Canada): Possible to unlock Touch Pro?

I was wondering if anyone might be able to offer direction as to how I might unlock my phone? I bought it straight out 18 months ago and only now have learned it would have been wiser to purchase an unlocked version in the first place! I am not sure if this is possible, but it would be great if anyone had time to offer direction/advice.

Telus Canada is CDMA - not GSM.
I am new to these dual tech phones - so will ask the question. Can CDMA phones be unlocked in the same way GSM's are ?
Thanks bill_in_mtl,
I guess that is my question then So, can the Telus CDMA be unlocked? IF so, how?

Change An locked AT&T phone to T-Mobile

Hello All...
I want to lend/give my AT&T unlocked Fuze to my friend to try, but he is on T-Moble network. How can I do this, if possible at all? Is there a stock T-Mobile ROM for the Fuze that will work on the at system?
Any help would be appreicated!
Thanks

You need to purchase an unlock code for the phone. You can google it, or try looking for one on ebay. All you do is buy the code, follow instructions to entering it and then it will be fully functional (with EDGE speeds on any GSM carrier if not used with AT&T)
If already SIM unlocked just put the T-Mobile sim in and will work if not there is a thread for sim unlock in Touch Pro section, as previously stated the phone will not have 3G or HSDPA due to the band differences of the networks.
Ok,
I have the unlock code for the fuze from AT&T. My question is, do I leave the AT&T ROM on it or is there a T-Mobile ROM that I have to load? Will it work ok with the AT&T ROM or is it better to change it to a T-Mobile ROM if one exists?
That's my question...
Thanks

Won't make a difference the Radio will have more to do with functionality since reception may be differnt due to carrier.
So you are saying I should load a different radio?

[Q] Differences in I535 hardware between carriers?

I just received a brand new Verizon Galaxy S III by pure luck, I've been searching all day on how to get this thing to work on my AT&T Sim with no luck. I can't even find an unlock service for this model.
I've Modded many AT&T phones and returned them to stock. I'm very familiar with Odin, rooting, roms and flashing back to stock but this Verizon (model) Galaxy S III is kicking my butt.
Can this Verizon model be flashed with an AT&T image? I was under the assumption the Galaxy 3 phones (Verizon, AT&T, Sprint Etc.) are identical? They all share CMDA and GSM in one piece of hardware? Or am I wrong?
Just looking for some direction here. Thanks.
Your first step should be switching the phone to work on GSM, after that possibly flashing the at&t stock rom or something..
Wish i could offer more.

While i agree with the switching to GSM, which has been done for international service but not ATT as far as i remember, i would not recommend flashing ATT roms. believe this will perma-brick your shiney new phone.
Check out the Verizon Development thread for the GSM international service.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1809314 might be of some help. Recall a thread about a guy getting voice and text working on ATT with their SIM but not data. I'm sure you can find that one too with a little searching. Good luck!

[Q] Can a Verizon Based S3 be SIM unlocked to T-Mobile?

I'm sorry for possibly reposting such a question but I couldn't find the answer. Can a US based, Verizon S3 be unlocked to another carrier like T-Mobile? Thanks in advance.
I would like to know also there was 1 thread on this but it was closed.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2
I believe so since there is a spot for a sim card. Verizon typically uses this spot for the LTE card, but I've heard that can be used as a SIM for other carriers. I'd wait for somebody to confirm what I've said before you consider it fact though.
Yes. You need to be rooted and do a few other things, but you can use it on both AT&T and T-Mobile with a bit of tinkering.

However, ther question is still up in the air as to whether the phone has hardware for WCDMA on a band other than 2100mHz. Only time will tell for that one.
