Don't buy one honestly. Not that we don't want you around, but the phone is old, and like you said, not very popular. You'd be much better off picking up something like a gnex that is a bit newer if you don't want to spend much.
The other option is to buy two broken phones. to elaborate, buy one that has a dead motherboard, which will cost next to nothing, then buy one with a broken screen or something that has a working motherboard and swap them. you can do any combo, but the point is get one broken one, then another that has what you need to fix it. often this is a great way to save a ton of money.

Well if you're like me and want an atrix 2 for how well-priced it usually is for its specs and features, then maybe you can try Amazon. That's where I got mine (used) at a reasonable price and if you have any friends/family in the States or try the UK version to have it sent to you.
Newer phones are too overrated and my Atrix 2 has been an awesome first smart phone for me so far. :thumbup: Get what you want to be happy and all the best in your search!

You can't really ask if one phone is better than another, its a matter of opinion (and what needs you have for the phone.) The two phone you are asking us to compare don't even have the same operating system.

even thats a moot point because for instance the n=nokia n95 and the htc tytn 2 have bluetooth 2.0 meaning they work at the same speed now if you need to know internet speeds i suggest looking up the phones you would like to comapre using gsm arena.com and seeing which has the better conections
so if you look at the HTC G1 specs
and then the Xperia x1 specs youll see they both have HSDPA up to 7.2 mbps
but then this means you have to make note of which of the cariers in you area ca do the fastest speed for instance were i live i can only get a weak o2 2g signal but a HSDPA signal from orange

I have both the xli and a, US VERSION, both in like new condition and I do not know your currency well but you would want the i for 3g speeds, important to many, that one is black and I would sell for $550.00 us dollars. The i is in pristine condition and included the box, manauls and al accessories and is 2 months old. 10 mo left on the warranty. please call or emial if interested and my price is somewhat negotiable. nir36, in this sticky, explains that essentially it's better to buy a more expensive whatever when you know it will work and know that you're getting exactly what you paid for rather than buying uncertainly from unreputable dealers, only to get scammed and buy the more expensive on and the cheaper one.
So my advice, buy from somebody who doesn't have the words MEGA CHEAP SUPER DEVICEZ in it's domain name, or in this case, don't buy an unreasonably cheap device from a country that's known for its knockoffs.

I love wirefly but letstalk seems to have pricier phones than buying in store. Maybe T-mo just doesnt give em good deals.

according to me its like 4,500 inr......and i dont think it is a nice idea to buy a new one as by adding some money you can buy a new phone......my fit is dead it has no warranty and i aslo wanted to buy a new motherboard but after seeing the price i thought its a waste hence i am planning to buy a new one......and soon will leave fit forum......

dude i will sell my fit to my cousin who came to my house yesterday and garunteed he can fix that.......he is a noob and said he found a cool forum called xda and will fix it with help from that site....i didnt told about my account on xda and behaved like noob and said its impossible......he thinks its a soft brick and said he can fix it using xda and said if i dont believe him then sell your phone to me for 3000 inr and said i will regret it later.........i agreed to sell my phone to him......he is such a fool and i know its motherboard is gone and he will never be able to fix it......
