I found some nice wallpaper extracted from google now and I've written this application that changes wallpaper at a certain time.
Features:
* 11 wallpaper included in 4 versions (dawn,day,dusk,night) extracted from google now
* wallpaper resolution: 960x800 (normal version), 1440x1280 (HD version)
* configurable time period
* google now card UI included
* runs at device startup
* no battery drain!! (it's not a live wallpaper)

I really like the app, but it looks kinda lame on my 320x480 screen, only the very centre of each wallpaper is visible :/
maybe I should create a ldpi version or resize wallpaper.. I will fix this

Hey I think there's an issue with the time changer. Whatever timings I select for dusk, Dawn etc, it always stays the same.

For suggestions, maybe we could be able to set the way that time is displayed (24 Hour Clock or 12 Hour Clock) or just auto detect which one the android system is using. I can see by your screen shots that you use 24 hour
Also, Holo G-Now Cards UI for Gingerbread is broken, check the screens below

when you change this setting, if you go back to main screen it should show a
popup with next wallpaper change.. is it correct? or please tell me your values so i can find the issue

definitely a resolution bug, if i remember correctly Nexus 7 wallpapers are 1280x1600 so i should resize it

thanks for your suggestion, i was thinking to use 24hour format because is easier to use while writing code but it's not a problem to change the user interface and about the UI I've used a library that replicates google card ui so i should investigate and solve this bug.. or contact the library developer

[21/02/12][LWP][ICS] Galaxy S II live walllpaper with day/night & weather animations
I've attached the live wallpapers from SGS II. Just install them like a normal apk, but be warned that at 8mb and 11mb they are rather large.
They should work on any device with WVGA resolution, and have also been reported to work on Galaxy Tab. However, they may not work if your device has non-standard DPI settings.
Secret Wallpaper 1 is a beach scene and Secret Wallpaper 2 features windmills running peacefully along the country side. Both wallpapers use your GPS co-ordinates or coarse location to change the weather depicted in the scene, and to switch from day to night.

It asks permissions for coarse and gps location. Shows weather according to that i think

Edit: This always happens to me. All the stock lwps rrun beautifully, but all other lwps run horrible. It saddens me greatly.

That's a battery icon based on flightspit (sp?)'s work on the desire forum that made its way to the Galaxy S i9000 forum. It involves a custom framework-res.apk modification, and your phone has to be rooted. What phone do you have?

Yeah, the wallpaper needs a bit of grunt to run properly. After all, it was designed for Galaxy S II which has a powerful A9 SoC
Custom DPI ... It does work..

Both work on the Thunderbolt. But the beach scene suffers from slower frame rates on the animation of the water. The windmills look great.

Messaging window bug - shows a blurred '+' instead of the send button.No solution yet.

@djkekko: I had the blue unlock screen in the previous version (not uploaded) but somehow I felt that the stock 2.3 sliders were better - so as to match all wallpapers. (Not all of us will use the blue wave wallpaper, and the blue sliders tend to look ugly with an otherwise beautiful wallpaper)

Yes..i prefer 2.3.3 sliders me too..it was only because original SE theme was all blue..so i thought it was better but this can just a a personal opinion

Actually not, this is the actual background from 1.6, the wallpaper is different.
May I suggest:
-Wallpapers from 1.6
-Lockscreen from 1.6
If possible, the launcher would be pretty nice too!

Use the SE Android 2.1 wallpaper is better. This wallpaper seems to be so light. The 2.1 is a lot darker

* Trying to find a fix for the messaging bug, but find the culprit image yet!
* I cant understand whats the big deal with the wallpaper - after all its a theme - it will NOT change your wallpaper. The screenshot shows whatever wallpaper I had set on my phone. This theme will retain whatever image you have set. The default blue wallpaper was posted in previous thread.
* @bodomfan: Noticed the issue with the hue. Fix coming in next release.

You can use it to create a theme - after adding a shape and creating some effects for it - then share it with us. We will make a preview tile and credit you in the thgeme header. I live in Kazakhstan even for me this siz is not a issue. The background canvas of this app is very big i think 2600 pixels so stock images are heavy and high quality. Its for nexus and infinity resolution devices. Now many phones have standard rez of 1280x720, so its important to have quality images.

Im sure theres a question in there somewhere... Anyone who likes the wallpaper will not have a problem. Anyone who has a problem wont use the wallpaper. Seems quite clear cut to me

You should upload a video to see what animation speed we should expect (or normal behaviour anyway), I installed it but it seems a bit laggy on Angry V3.2.

It really will depend on many settings, but first and foremost its the glow styles - try them all and you will see how much of a difference you can make. For me on CM everything is smooth, at least in the three of four themes ive customized.

Dont you think youve got enough free stuff? Ditalix comes with plenty right out of the box and custom images are only a dollar. One bloody dollar. How am i supposed to feed my kid when everyone wants everything for free? Or would you rather i put airpush in there, so you can host block it and i get zip...
Anyway, its not going to happen. The vast majority of revenue is generated in countries which have full access to the Store.
@^ you deserve to get paid for your efforts developing this app and it goes true to other great devs out there too
