In my experience they are not that much communicative.
I pre-ordered a "series 1 case"[1] 3 months ago. It was supposed to ship mid-march. I opened a support ticket at the beginning of April to discover that they "would have shipped in the next days".
Around mid-April, I discovered that the entry for the Nexus 4 bumper had disappeared from the website. Still no communication.
I asked for a refund. They refused because of Paypal's 60 days policy for refunds. No other info in the reply..
I asked whether they implied my money was "a donation" for them.
They are now going to ship me a series 2 bumper. Hopefully. By the way, I don't like the new model that much.
[1] Here is the 1st series bumper for the Galaxy Nexus, sou you can make an idea.

I had to call them to get an answer. I was told 2 more weeks and that they are on pre order. Even though it doesn't say pre order on the website. This was on wed BTW.

Looks ok, I like the first gen case a bit better. I know some here have had bad experiences with them, but so far, mine has been ok.

I agree, but I did just go out an bought a incipio battery case. Not much in the protection realm, but the added battery is all I was looking for. Added some heft but not too much more than any other battery case. I love the push button power-on on the front, I didn't even know it was there. I just thought it was on at all times and was disappointed at first and almost returned it.....THEN.....I RTFM!

I'm sure I'll be fine. But my hands are rather large. iPhone with otterbox still felt small to me. Plus with working in a warehouse I kinda need it.
Plus I have held the ballistic case and was fine with it. Just didn't get it cuz didn't really care for the design and always read about problems with the buttons.

ust recieved mine in today and i really love it i had the platinum case from best buy and was really slippery i also had the ballistic case which is garbage in my opinion way to big but the otterbox is perfect fits very well in hand and seems very well made

Plus the poetic looks like there is a gray part on the back side that the Google one doesn't. I have the Google one and it is VERY nice

Actually, I think the Poetic one has more appeal thanks to price, not availibility If I wanted to spend $20 to protect my phone, Id rather get a full case. $5 to offer small protection while still showing off the beautiful back is two thumbs up and a customer
(Keep in mind I also bought xtremeguard screen protector+skin so I am fully protected)

So I got my cases in today but to my surprise they sent me a nexus7 case instead of a nexus4 case. I used to have the Ringke slim case, but now I've got a Poetic bumper. I can't remember the exact price but it was less than $15. My phone has taken a couple of heart stopping falls, but so far so good! I'd post pics but my phone is my camera. I'll try tomorrow if I can find something.

After rolling naked(after a ringke fusion) for a while I went with this. It's definitely a nice case. Hardly feels any heavier to me.

I have to admit, I LOVE mine without a case too. Currently I've been using the Fusion, but the charger I've been using doesn't quite fit with the Fusion case, so at night, I take the case off to charge. And every time I have the case off, I say to myself... "Damn! That's a fine looking phone!" When I had my Galaxy Nexus, towards the last 3 months or so I ended up going case-less, I may eventually go that route with the N4 as well

The case looks good but what about the protection? Doesn't seem like it has much if it drops on the top/bottom?
I just jumped on this as a preorder with 30% off for Black Friday. I like the ultra hybrid (I have that one), but this one looks a bit more finished. Hopefully it doesn't have the flaw by the fingerprint sensor. Mine isn't that bad, but it bothers me. Hope this is a good one. Check it out here. Comes in 2 colors.

Nice, another case from Spigen. I really like this one, kind of like a bumper and the back is transparent but I wish they had more colours! I was going to preorder on Spigen and just cancel when it shows up on Amazon but I'm not in a hurry to get the case and the price is a little steep for Canadians. I don't even have the phone yet but I'm definitely getting this case!
Looking forward for this case to go on Amazon. Looks like a ultra hybrid with improvements.

Unfortunately, this now shows a ship date of 12/14 on spigen.com instead of 12/7. There is still no Amazon listing for this either.
