We need a little more information here buddy.
What recovery installed?
Which bootloader (boot by holding power and volume down and read the tiny text)?
Did you do a full wipe before flashing, I assume, CromiX?

this is a known issue. nothing to worry about. you just have to let your battery drain and it will be fine once you power it on after that.
ill give it a shot even since I flash prime 1.6 the touch screen is a bit veterans thanks

Go into settings --> apps and find google framework services and map app and clear data on both, then reboot your device.

I just wondering if you execute my suggestions correctly? anyway the only thing you could do is make a nandroid backup, then use twrp to do a
factory reset, wipe system, wipe internal and format data, then reinstall CRom, once bootup lauch map and see if gps is working, when prompt to enable gps, make sure you enabled them.
I will try this

I have reflashed the rom with factory reset, but it still does not work.

Hopefully I won't be flamed for pointing to the obvious.
Is GPS enabled in the notification bar\Asus quick menu?

Try to apply the gps.cfg from Pimp my ROM. You can do this from the PMR apk so you don't have to flash anything. It has definitely helped for mine to acquire more sats and locks in quicker.
hi all,
my device is tf300t (US) 32giga ,rooted and has twrp with all backup !
like i wrote on the topic the 4.2.1 make me crazy is acting like a old pc.
everything is moving "slow" even the power button is take few second to reacte !
i remember the short time i was on 4.1 it was just fine !
so i want make a test a go back to 4.1 and check, i already backup all the content on tablet with twrp on my sd card.
so what do you think ?
btw i test the launcher 4.2.1 and 4.1 and is still the same problems !
maybe in the future i will buy the famous dock, and here my question: it is important that the dock is US ? if i buy Europe or else ? what do you think ?
my tablet is running fine on 4.2.1 maybe you should do a factory reset??

What's the most reliable and fastest kernel for the tf700t? Not worried about ROM comparability.

I think that's 2 oxymorons in one short sentence!
The most reliable( =stable) kernel is not going to be the fastest - ever!
And not worrying about ROM comparability is just nonsense - you cannot compare kernels separate of the bootloader/rom they are paired with...
That said, as of now, Hund's kernel on Cromi-X provides the best Quadrant scores (for what it's worth)..... whereas I consider _that's v4 to be the most stable (have been running v5 only for 24 hours, but I'm pretty sure it's just as stable)

That makes a lot of sense. You answered my question even though I made no sense. Thank you very much! I have a few more questions if you don't mind answering
The ROM I'm running is cromi-x but even when I was running stock I have been having wake from suspend issues. When I go to press the unlock button it will some times go to the unlock screen than go back to suspend as if it times itself out when not receiving user input (even when I'm giving input), other times it stays in suspend mode and I have to reset the tablet. Is this one of the common latency issues or is this just my device (or a ROM issue)?
If I want to change the kernel, do I need to reinstall the ROM or is there a simpler solution?
Thanks again

You can switch to another kernel without touching the rom (most developers provide a package that can be installed from a custom recovery) but the kernel must be compatible with the rom currently installed, meaning that you can't install a stock based kernel on a Cyanogenmod rom and viceversa.

You can download the "kernel installer by Sbdags" and they are all compatible with his rom. You may want to wipe both caches.. Good luck..

Sorry to be such a pia stickler, but I again don't quite get your question. Did you have the problem of unresposiveness on wake on stock and you still have it on Cromi-X, the other way around or neither?????
Actually, it's not normal for either: stock or CROMi-X, although the tablet tends to be slow on wake if you have Wifi disabled in sleep because it then updates email and whatnot on wake.
My suspicion though is, that you did not do a clean install, meaning doing a Factory Reset in TWRP before flashing Cromi, going from stock to CROMi-X. If I'm right, backup user aps and data in Titanium Backup, do a Factory Reset in TWRP, then restore your apps and data from TIBu.
I had been using Clean Master before rooting and flashing Cromi-X.
Question, do I still need to use it to free up RAM with this ROM?

Android is supposed to free RAM automatically when needed.

Yes but it doesn't always do a very good job. I use a cache cleaner which helps. Also killing apps does improve things no matter what android says.
So I guess it would not hurt to keep cleaning RAM, can't hurt and may help.
Thanks for all you guys do for us noobs, I love what you have added to my tablet, the last two or three OTA's have been terrible.
Try using greenify to hibernate apps instead of killing them. It's supposed to be safer and work better than killing apps if I am correct.
