Just thought I would make a thread where we can collectively post any Verizon specific Samsung Galaxy S III reviews or unboxing videos.

Didn't redo it because, to me, that defeats the purpose of an unboxing.
I am going to do my review today or tomorrow, I would be happy to entertain any requests.

Charging case!

I was watching a Testes video on YouTube and they were talking about a website called shapeways. I was interested and decided to see if anybody on there was making stuff for the Nexus 4, and they are! this would be cool, but damn does that thing look ugly! looks cheaply made for $100.

5000mah is way too overkill for a extended battery case, that thing looks like a paving brick and probably weight as much. 1500 to 2500mah would be more than enough to keep size and price down.

Holy guacamole that's big.

Wow that is one big case. The ugly factor will keep me away from this thing.

First impressions.

Ordered for my wife and it arrived today. (ATT). Black 16 GB. The feel of the phone is very nice in the hands. The weight is light. Looks stunning....

Update:
Mannnnn what can I say. This phone is freaking awesome. All that talk about "OMG ANOTHER PLASTIC DEVICE!" This thing feels really nice.
As for functions and system UI, its very smooth like touchwiz always is. Very boring and colorful but it does the job. A lot of features that I wont use but damn this phone is the real deal.
I guess I can qualify as a Samsung FANBOY LOL. I wanted to have faith in the HTC One but I after reading about the build issues I had to slowly step away...

congrats on the new phone i'm glad you like it... i expect to feel the same way due to my own expectations lol

Yeah Samsung really hit a home run with this one. So far so good. The camera is great. Very snappy. Feels premium enough. The size is perfect!
I am a Note 2 user and am super jealous of my wife for having this phone lol
Edit #2: The phone was at 90% and is now at 77% 30 mins later lol. Constant use for that 30 mins though.
Not too impressed with that. Hopefully after a few cycles it will get better.

Thanks for that. This is first real life photos I believe in, as many others have been staged with tripods and bright lighting. It does give a real feel for the quality of the S4 camera.

Re processing power - Can you download droidfish chess app and set it for 4 or 8 cores (setting -> threads) and activate "Analysis mode" report the nps for some positions...Let's see its power!
In my note 2 in 4 cores i get ~700-800

Is it getting heated like galaxy s4? as the processor is similar to s4..
Is it possible for us to shoot slow motion video( I mean the indian version of note 3)

When you showed 'write on any screen', does the writing save with whatever app that was written on (so we can use it to highlight note on any app)?
or was it just saved separately unrelated to the app?

Multi window

Morning guys and galls. Really interested in picking up the new pro 12.2 but can anybody tell me if you can use the SKy Go or VIrgin anywhere apps in the muliti window??

No to both..... Sky Go on the NotePro is shocking by the way. Sky need to update the app for the resolution of the NotePro, permanently blurry picture!!!!

That more of a developer question vs a Samsung question. I believe the api is available, the developer just needs to update the app to comply. Email them and request the change. You never now what you will get.

Good luck with that.... Sky are very very very backwards at going forward when it comes to Sky Go.
I also user the BT Sport app - now this is incredible! Not only is it not blurry on the NotePro screen but it is also broadcast in HD even though I only subscribe to the SD TV package

Shame on Sky but well done BT. Hope the Virgin app is the same.
Can I just ask-I use mine current tablet for lots of films,media etc so just wanted to know if the 12.2 is good for 1080p movies especially as it's £650 here! (I'm hoping to get one for around the £550 mark and get a 64GB SD card
