download this zip..extract it
http://www.mediafire.com/?5fdy6rt814647c5
then put the file in system->etc->init.d folder.. you can go there by using any file explorer like es file explorer.then set the permissions 777. delete file 10mount2ds or something like that.basically which have mount2sd name from the same folder. i cant remember exact name.
and reboot.. you can find yourself having memory of your sd-ext partition

i have not made partition i just want a rom that is easy to install and good to go then.
I have tried Cyanogenmod 9 (Presently using) , Ateeqrom , Xenon
any suggestions like these rom which are really easy to install

How to Dual Boot Multiple ROMs on Your Android Phone
Whether you want to test out a new ROM for daily use or just keep an eye on one that's being developed, you can run multiple ROMs on your rooted Android phone with BootManager, and pick which one to use when you start it up.
Having multiple ROMs to choose from is great, but flashing and re-flashing new ROMs just to try them out is annoying. If you want to try one out but don't want to fully flash it over your current ROM, BootManager will let you flash it (and up to three others) to your SD card, so you can try multiple ROMs at once. The ROMs you run from your SD card won't be quite as fast, and not every ROM out there will work, but it should give you a chance to try out most other ROMs without fully flashing them.
Right now the app is officially supported on the original Motorola Droid, Droid Incredible, HTC Thunderbolt, HTC Vision, HTC EVO 4G, HTC Inspire 4G, HTC Desire, and the HTC Desire HD. It may work on other phones, though, they just aren't officially supported yet.
Note: This tutorial contains some pretty advanced stuff, and we don't recommend it if you're unfamiliar with rooting and flashing ROMs. If you're just starting out, check out how to root your Android phone and how to flash Android ROMs before moving onto something like this.
Step One: Flash a Second ROM
Before you do anything, make a nandroid backup of your current ROM with ROM Manager or through your recovery module. If anything goes wrong, you can always restore from this backup to get things back to the way they were.
To set up BootManager, just download and install it from the Market, and start it up. You'll also want to grab a ROM of your choice and save the zip file on your SD card.
When you first start up BootManager, it'll prompt you to back up your boot.img, which you should do before installing any ROMs. Once you've done that, head to "Install ROMs". Pick the zip file from your SD card containing the ROM you want to flash, and check all three boxes: Wipe System, Wipe Data, and Wipe Cache. Let it do its thing (which will take awhile). When you're done, it will give you the option of booting into your new ROM. Hit Done; we aren't ready to boot into it just yet.
Step Two: Install Google Apps and Other ROM Add-Ons
Most ROMs don't come with Google's copyrighted apps, like Gmail, the Market, and others. This is a problem, since when you boot into your new ROM you need BootManager to function if you ever want to boot out of it, and it won't work unless you're signed into the Android Market. Luckily, there's an easy fix (note: if you know your ROM comes with Google Apps installed, you can skip this step).
Download the Google Apps zip file for the ROM you just installed and go back to BootManager. Hit Install ROMs. This time, pick Google Apps' zip file, and use the same slot that you used in step one. Leave all three "wipe" boxes unchecked this time. When it's done, booting into that slot will take you to the original ROM, but with the Google apps installed.
If you want to install a theme or other zip-based mod in the future, you can do that using this method too. Just remember: if you're flashing a new ROM, check all three "wipe" boxes, but if you're just installing an add-on to a ROM, don't check any of them.
Step Three: Switch Between ROMs
To boot into one of your other ROMs, just head into BootManager and choose "Boot Installed ROM". It'll show you a list of ROMs you have installed on your device, and after choosing one of them it will reboot into that ROM. BootManager will come installed on each of your other ROMs as well, and as long as you're signed into the Android Market on that ROM, you can boot into it from there as well and switch back to your main ROM.
That's it! You can flash up to five ROMs at a time, so you'll never be bored by one measly operating system. Hit the link to download BootManager.
BootManager is a $2.99 download for Android 2.1 and up. See the Market page below for officially supported devices.

I'm going to try this on my TouchPad. The only thing keeping me from running an ICS ROM as my daily driver is the lack of HW video decoder support (aka YouTube HD and Netflix don't work).
Hopefully I can keep the latest CM 7.1 Kang and CM 9 Kangs side-by-side.

[Q] Honeycomb for Galaxy s i9003

Hi all,
Is there anyway i can get Honeycomb for my Galaxy s i9003.
I heard ICS is not available for i9003.
But what about Honeycomb???
I am now in GB 2.3.6 JPKPE.
Nope.Honeycomb is not available for i9003. I think Honeycomb is only for tablets and so on..not for cellphones. (I hope I'm not mistaking )

Hi,
thanks for the help.
Now i am on ICS 4.0.4 with cm9 rooted with cf root.
Now i just have some doubts....
1. How can i restore my contacts?
Is there any app for it?
Usually what i do is i have a contacts backup file created with kies.
But after ICS instal, kies won't connect so i can't restore my contacts backup.
Is there anyway to do it? I have nearly 500 contacts....
I don't want to sync with gmail app because it will bring some other names than what i saved.
2. I can't find enter button when i am typing a message.
So i can't start a new line unless it automatically comes.....
I checked the k/b settings but no luck....
Any idea???
1. Now that you are on custom ROM.. You cannot connect to kies.. So it's better to use an app to back up and restore your contacts.. As of now you will have to revert back to stock ROM, restore contacts and upload to some cloud server or something like that.
2. There is no enter key while using default message app.. Also no batch mode in messages.. A solution for is is to use other messaging app like handcent or go SMS..

RemICS ROM is based on Cm9.. Hence all problems you face in Cm9 will appear in remICS ROM too.. However I didn't have problems with mobile data, wifi, USB mass storage problems like few of the users..
Personally I like the remICS ROM cuz of its looks and lag free ui compared to Cm9..
Am currently using paranoid Android ROM and the table like feel is good.. You can try that too.. However there are bugs in this too..
For good ROM in ics you can try remICS.. In GB roms u can try titanium ROM (my fav), cleanKpu, clean value pack etc..
I have not tried any miui ROM, do don't know much about that..

2) he might don't want to use it on CM10, and there is other builds, not only sak's.

Simply use link2sd as it is best suitable app for stock roms..
customs roms are awesome., you just need to find the one that suits you better.try jaggyrom or ateeqrom, both have memory script pre-included.
The only way to get "increased internal memory" is to reverse mount the sd-ext partition.
Here's something that I did in Cyanic Sense: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=41204177&postcount=2

No, its not the problem of CM11 because im already using since 1Month, its really butter smooth and im using IN2EXT script for internal memory
i think its your touch related problem any way first switch to another rom like [Truimph HD V2 Black Pegasus not V3] and CM10 4.1.2 or any HTC Sense 4.0 ICS Roms after that if same problem persists then contact htc service centre

Hi i recently flashed my phone with CM11 and aumented the internal memory but now my phone is all laggy and it takes like 30 sec to open the most basics apps in my phone i tried installing a kernel but i can't find any for android 4.4.2, also my screen is not calibrated or something it really takes an effort on writing a simple message.

Use cm11 weekly build #5. It's bloody smooth. Faster than cm9 or 10

Try nand recovery and reinstall the ROM , I faced similar issues myself.
