I wonder why BoxWave is selling their cases so cheap, are these any good?
Lol. Boxwave cases are basically those cases you get from China that are cheap.

thanks!
The cases looks nice actually, and super cheap!~ In for a couple of them. I think some companies do crazy promotions for a limited time. their loss my gain! i'm jumping in.
the brushed aluminum cases look pretty slick. Will post about the quality when i receive them.
Xcor3 - lol maybe so, but what isn't from China these days? things can come from China and be good.
Wow, I love the book designed one, wonder if I could make one...I only need a replacement battery cover...Hmm. Good ideas, but for $14 with shipping...can't really go wrong, right? lol Thanks for the link.
The review I did on the Cimo S-line case looks exactly like their S-Line case, but it is only $0.50 from this seller. I would recommend this case at that price for anyone wanting a good TPU case.
I know the s3 Ballistic knock off case from them is garbage. There was no lip and the case could easily come right off. Might take a gamble on a tpu though, Can't really mess that up.
You can mess up a TPU case... I just bought one as a matter of fact. Bad cutouts, poor quality plastics, bad design...Lol

You most certainly can. Boxwave is simply taking a loss on their first sales to gain traction in the search results. Once their listing gets more sales, it will be ranked higher and then they will raise the price. Common Amazon sales tactic.
That's what I'm saying, most from china but it doesn't mean they're bad. I was just saying by the way ap3604 said it, he made it sound like boxwave is really good case maker when they basically buy from the chinese sellers and sell them bucks more that you see on ebay.

I just bought a Speck Candyshell case for a little over $20.
It was a site called wirelessground (I don't know how reputable they are).
It is rubbery on the inside & hard on the outside. It was $34 on t-mobile's site and amazon.
Google:
Code:
T-Mobile G2x Speck CandyShell
There are only 2 sites with this case including amazon.
The coupon code is
Code:
15off
I am not affiliated with wirelessground or amazon but this is one of the few cases available and I saved almost $15!
I went with the bodyguardz transparent film...no added bulk and protects the phone and screen well. I had it on my last phone and it held up great for 2 years.

Agreed brother. No Screen protectors for me. Me and my buddy bought our cases in store on one receipt so we could get the "buy 2 get 20% off" deal. I went with the body glove snap-on case. The clip has a built in kickstand, that's what sold me.

Why do people cover there nice looking phones up with bulky rubber cases? Just buy a couple spare battery covers down the road and your set. Makes you wonder why the manufacturers don't just make rubber phones????

Lol. I never drop my phone, but other people do. I trust a well made case to save me the replacement cost.
Personal preference plays a role as well. I'm still rocking out with the out of the box screen film on my phone.

I would like to have some protection and with little less bulk.

Amzer is kinda Meh
My buddy has it for the Nexus S and it fits nice but the one for the Inspire is a strange fit. I had to modify around the ear piece so I could comfortably swipe down for notifications. Cheap but there is probably better.
I have the TPU case. Its awesome. best 5 bucks I've ever spent

2 for 5.99 incl. shipping and screen protector (which I didn't try yet since I already had one).
Cannot beat it! It's a great case and even a little bit higher than the camera thus protecting it. Not bulky IMO and not worse than the casemate you can buy from AT&T for 30 bucks.

Had the TPU case for a while on my Inspire. Unfortunately had to take it off because whenever I had it in a pocket the phone would go silent after the case pressed down on the volume buttons. It was almost perfect... Almost. =(

i have to say, especially if you dont mind waiting a little bit, you can get a tpu case from china for super cheap. mine was 69 cents, free shipping. =)
although, i got the casemate tough for $15 new in box free ship on ebay, so maybe just keep an eye open there, you could get a much nicer case within your price range than on amazon!
I got the TPU case... great one for 4 bucks!
I just got this obliq case that i bought from Amazon and wanted to share with you guys my experience with it.
I am a huge fan of uag cases but when i tried to order it i saw that It would only be available on 10th of June. I Decided to wait for it. So i proceeded to buy any cheap case to use for the time i waited and found obliq for only 14 dollars. It seemed to be a complete copy of uag.
http://db.tt/WiFF1J2j
http://db.tt/4BxALzC4
http://db.tt/u7yS5HeP
The case is way better than i thought. So good that i will give up buying the uag. Im going with neo hybrid to have two different cases.
The buttons are soft and easy to press. The Overall protection is very good, maybe a bit under uag, since the corners are not as thick. To be honest it looks better than uag, and even my girl agrees with that.
So there you go guys. .a good option for those who don't Wanna pay the full price of uag.

Seems like a pretty solid deal if they're built to the same standard as UAG. Any comment on headphone/USB compatibility? That was a chief complaint with the Neo Hybrid across most reviews I saw.
Well i had no problem using the gs4 headphone/usb and two others here. The microphone and ir holes match perfectly. The case is really good as it is the screen protector that came with it.
I will try it soon with an iloome glass , but i think it will fit.
can honestly say that i am happy with it and will only buy the neo hybrid to have a second case. ..

What are some waterproof cases that are exceptional and are there plans for newer ones coming out in the future?

For even cheaper knockoff waterproof cases, try ebay. I have one of those for $15 and it's definitely waterproof although the screen protector is not completely flushed against the screen so you have to put a little more pressure on the touch and also decrease txting accuracy.

I have and am using the same knockoff. It's kinda annoying with the touch sensitivity. It is workable until my money tree grows. If you have the funds I would go with the lifeproof fre. Otterbox also has one that's gonna come out soon.

I don't see anything being better than my OBEX. Had my first drop last night and all it did was bounce! Also, it doesn't add much bulk at all. Another advantage to this case is the rubber pieces on the back that keep it from sliding around. I've had the OBEX for about a month now and have not found the first disadvantage.

I have the OBEX too. It definitely protects the phone, but I have to disagree with the "keeping it from sliding around" part. The OBEX is just plain slippery, particularly in my hand. Most of the soft surface is on the inside of the perimeter edges. It helps when you hold the case in your hand, but the back is hard and slippery. I wish the front and back faces had more soft material - it would really help.
I want to use this case daily, but it makes my phone a little too big for my taste. For now I just use it for special circumstances.

I was just about to ask if anyone has found a bumper case for this thing. This phone is already so big and fat that it needs a bumper so as to not make the bulge in the back any thicker.
Sorry i cant post links yet...
Www dot otterbox dot com /en-us/moto-x-pure-edition/defender-series-case/mot2-moto-x-pure-edition.htm
Now has the box in stock. I ordered one today.
I cant even count how many times Otterbox has saved my phone. I wear the belt clip and work outside year round in Florida. Heat, rain, humidity etc. Lifeproof fell apart in 6 months otterbox going strong 2 years later.
I literally drop my phone 3 times a week from the side of a forklift a box truck a loading dock and pick it up dust it off and keep on rolling. They may be ugly but they work damn well.
The real question is where in the heck is the Commuter case!? They just lost my business to this http://www.incipio.com/cases/smartphone-cases/motorola-smartphone-cases/motorola-moto-x-pure-edition-cases/dualpro-case-motorola-moto-x-pure-edition.html
Thanks for the link... I'm definitely not going to get the Otterbox case
I don't think this phone is huge by any means but I did just come from a nexus 6 lol. .
I like the supcases, they are cheap and offer good protection, the heavy duty version is way slimmer then a otter box.
I got this on Amazon for $8 to hold me over until a better case comes out. It does the job and protects it pretty good. I wish it was a little snugger fit, but it'll do for now.

I had one like that for my old note 2, if the case was more snug they would be decent. Hell ive been using the clear plastic bumper that came with the phone until the 30th when I can get my supcase heavy duty for $20
