[Q] Your favorite tweaks! - General Questions and Answers

Hi!
There are so many tweaks out there like the Adrenaline™ Engine, Pimp My Rom, V6 SuperCharger, Fly-On ModV1.0, ActivoSpeeder etc.
My question is simple. What is your favorite? Combos are welcome!
Regards
X-Zone
BTW I'm thinking about Gingerbread tweaks, but you can also say what's working best on different versions/roms!

HydrOG3n MOD
About ME:
Hello, well, I won't say that i didn't had this idea by reading the Leedroid post, I found that it was a good idea
My name is Lucas, I'm french, and 17 (Birthday 18 of November!). I just begun Android works with my HTC Desire, that was my first real Android phone.
At the begining, I was a real, iOS fan. I was dumb .
Android Cooking is a passion, a passion that I want to share, with you, XDA-Dev Users.
On My Desire (Not HD), I was kinda "Lol, yeh, I have to admit that Android is kinda cool"
Now, On my DHD, I'm more "WOW, F**k iOS, Android Owned Steve Jobs"
I was first, modifying roms, for myself.
I've worked on, Ultimate droid first, then, moved to CM.
And, now, I'm working on solid Cyanogen MOD 7.1.
What I'm doing is not compilating work etc...
I'm just unbloating those roms, pushing some nice cool ui, and tweakin', a lot really a lot of tweakin'.
BTW, This little presentation is over now. If you want to know more about me, or about what I'm doing, if I can help you or what ever,
Feel free to PM Me.
This rom is for Daily USE. But, if you check my signature, you see what it can do with some overclocking .
CM7 N°179 Base + LordMod Kernel up to 2.0Ghz.

The kernel is the same across the board, they all use the LorDMod CFS kernel. The key difference between the versions is the amount of apps that are included (although I'm not exactly sure the differences off the top of my head).
Benchmark edition shouldn't be considered for everyday use, it's extremely stripped and has limited functionality.
Normal and Light, the only difference is the included apps, although I'm unable to recall the list off the top of my head.
Multi is the same as Normal but with a broader language/locale support.

But cains kernels has some sort of lag for music and and video playback, if it was me I stick with stock kernel and let others flash the kernel themselves. That's my opinion.

Oh yeah!! I also modded the audio libs to that of 'beats audio' so now you will have amazing sound quality, and in the next update, I am going to edit the rosie.apk and tweak some XML files to make it less curvy, looks ugly
the link is coming soon, my frickin dev-host upload keeps stopping at 99%. and its nearly 4am. Luckily Im on summer vacation (1 more year til I graduate high school wooo!) and I dont have to worry about waking up in the morning. *edit: I would prefer waking up in the morning hahah, I meant like, not at 6am anymore
**What do you guys think of the "Status update" I put at the bottom of the OP?
I think it makes it somewhat more.. 'interactive' itll keep you guys in the loop of whats going on, plus give you a reason to come back to my thread hehe.
I can't believe this phone is going to be 2 years old in a couple weeks and there are STILL new devs popping up and threads filling like this. Long live the OG Evo!
Will flash this on my son's Evo tonight and report back...

AWESOME, thank you!!!

Some tweaks - could we use these?

hey, just stumbled upon this:
Adrenaline™ Engine
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1604315
apparently it improves ram by using zipalign, improves sd card read/write and mounting, as well as network tweaks, and more!
I'm wondering if we could apply it to the ChaCha.
The tweaks seem pretty generic. I imagine only minor details would need to be tweaked to apply to other devices.
I've already seen parts of it applied to other devices.
If some dev wouldn't mind taking a look at it and giving an opinion, I'd appreciate it
kronflux, have u used it?

Nook HD/HD+ cyanogenmod tweaks

Post your Nook HD/HD+ Cyanogenmod tweaks (Build.prop tweaks, scripts etc.) here, if they have benefited you in any way. Eg. improved scrolling performance, lesser lag, better battery life etc.
Perhaps these could be incorporated in the future versions of CM build. They could also benefit others who are running Cyanogenmod on their devices.
Make sure that your post contains
The version of Cyanogenmod that you are running and the name of your device
The tweak itself
How it can be implemented
Any side effects of applying the tweak, and the extent of it. (eg. Terrific performance = terrible battery life)
Credits
> Please post the tweaks only after trying them yourself, instead of dumping them from other forums.
> If you find that the tweak has already been implemented in a new release of Cyanogenmod, please edit your post to specify the same.
