[17/01][2.3.7]HydrOG3NMOD V2.2[Latest LORD][Ph03n1xEdition][2.0Ghz][EXT4][N260] - Desire HD Android Development

HydrOG3n MOD
About ME:
Hello, well, I won't say that i didn't had this idea by reading the Leedroid post, I found that it was a good idea
My name is Lucas, I'm french, and 17 (Birthday 18 of November!). I just begun Android works with my HTC Desire, that was my first real Android phone.
At the begining, I was a real, iOS fan. I was dumb .
Android Cooking is a passion, a passion that I want to share, with you, XDA-Dev Users.
On My Desire (Not HD), I was kinda "Lol, yeh, I have to admit that Android is kinda cool"
Now, On my DHD, I'm more "WOW, F**k iOS, Android Owned Steve Jobs"
I was first, modifying roms, for myself.
I've worked on, Ultimate droid first, then, moved to CM.
And, now, I'm working on solid Cyanogen MOD 7.1.
What I'm doing is not compilating work etc...
I'm just unbloating those roms, pushing some nice cool ui, and tweakin', a lot really a lot of tweakin'.
BTW, This little presentation is over now. If you want to know more about me, or about what I'm doing, if I can help you or what ever,
Feel free to PM Me.
This rom is for Daily USE. But, if you check my signature, you see what it can do with some overclocking .
CM7 N°179 Base + LordMod Kernel up to 2.0Ghz.
Modified SystemUI, Framework, Phone, Contact, Fonts (Helvetica Neue like ), Launcher (Gingerbread Launcher with custom Wallpapers ), And, Awesome Dancing Droid Bootanimation .
Features :
62 MB !
- Mixed UI ( Some Pngs from Ultimate Droid Roms, (With some cool themes inside Theme chooser apps ))
- Better battery life & smoothness
- Fully deoxed and zipaligned
- Rooted and latest SU

-Microbes LWP

-Defauts ringtones (Added HoneyComb instead)
Problems :
-Hum, The HTC IME Mod may Crash the 1st time you will boot. Btw, It won't never do it.

The kernel is the same across the board, they all use the LorDMod CFS kernel. The key difference between the versions is the amount of apps that are included (although I'm not exactly sure the differences off the top of my head).
Benchmark edition shouldn't be considered for everyday use, it's extremely stripped and has limited functionality.
Normal and Light, the only difference is the included apps, although I'm unable to recall the list off the top of my head.
Multi is the same as Normal but with a broader language/locale support.

[G1/32B]Blue Magic MKIIr1 "The Blue bus is calling us."[Not Updated yet still great!]
Introduction:
This is my personal Rom, made by me for me... But I think you might be interested.
At the moment there is nothing that's faster than SuperCSDIv4. Pure speed...
And the theme in use looks supersweet...
Well... Give it a try. It's nice to play around with this while waiting for a Legend dump
Overview: (have to update it for MK.II)
- Donut Rom
- Heavily Based on SuperCSDIv4.
- Fastest Rom!... Wreally FAST!
- 3D-Gaming Beast (on par with HTC 1.5 Roms, double the speed of superD w/o ramhack)
- ConMT - Multitouch included (in Gallery etc.)
- Awsome Bluest Day Theme from CaNaRi0N
- Merged "Elegance" theme in. (Like the launcher and caller)
- Font from enoidstar Theme
- Louder Volume Hack + Headset Boost from Meltus (will add EQ in future release)
- Spare parts (activate the option from Home app)
- Astro instead of Estrong
- SetCPU
- Removed SupSettings and other stuff
- Droidswap.
- Dolphin Browser (Better than Stock!)
- Hero Clock Widget
- Droid Clock Widget
- Some SuperD and Mytouch Fender parts mixed in
- Google Maps 4.0 (+navi) from brut
- Bluetooth File Transfer
- HTC Music app
- Some more Eye-Candy
- Some apps I would use
- 2.7 wysie Contacts
- Sound Recorder
- News & Weather
- USB tether
- Apn Settings included
- Apps2SD on Dream/G1 (not on sapphire) (took it from SuperD)
- Added JIT Dalvik and removed it again. No speed increase yet more force closes.
- Did I mention it's superfast?
-Check out the Additional Downloads!
Installation:
- Wipe recommend. Also it might work without...
- You might want to add some 32MB/64Mb of swap. If you don't know how to add a swap partition, you can use preinstalled SwapDroid instead. You Won't need a partition for that - it creates a swap file.
(I recommend a swap partition nevertheless. You can leave swap enabled when connected to a PC + its faster)
- StockSPL on the G1? Should be possible with 1.7rc.
On 32b Magic/Mytouch3g you don't have to flash a different SPL.
- Flash it and enjoy.
- (And you might have to reboot it to run properly...)
- As any other dev, i'm not to blame in case of termonucular war...
- If you want to safe energy, go to SetCPU and do something like 128 to 528 Mhz + Advanced: Up Threshold about 55% + Set on Boot. Also Set Sleep/Standby profile to 128 to 245 Mhz
+ If you don't work with you're phone, you can disable swap partition. It will kill background processes and keep SD card usage low.
- Else: 528 to 528 + Governor to performance
Note:
- Phone will Reboot once after Installation (!) [It's not looping(!)]
+ Takes some minutes for 1st boot.
- When everything is set up, it doesn't hurt to reboot. (I don't but it might help for them force closes)
ALL Credits go to: (ALL. Didn't compile a single bit for this.)

Battery life depends on CPU settings.
Set it in Supsetup... darn it!
Next bug: SupSetup seems to need MetaMorph.
Will release a build without HTC Ime, with metamorph and new launcher theme later (why does every keyboard force close :/)
But in 6 Minutes you get your first beta to play with

This ROM actually looks really interesting. I haven't used any other ROM besides cyanogen b.c I can't stand not having good graphics. I will definitely give this a try if you can upload it. Go register on AndroidSpin, they have a nice server.

By the way I used the time to play around with the launcher.
Now using the launcher from Elegance. It suits the overall theme very nicely.
But it's no more the advanced launcher. may include it again tomorrow...
SupSetup is still not working... :/
Either I get it running tomorrow or I'll leave it out. Its in spanish anyway
Yeah well what shall I say?
Go see the first post if you want to get the pretty one...
Darn it... that rom cooking is harder than I thought.

[ROM][32A][old radio] WLegend 0.5 (and WHero 0.6) - BFS, 2.6.33, OC option (May 22nd)

I've been promising some kind of usable Sense 2.1 ROM for old radio 32A for a while, so here's at least sort of "alpha" release for those of you that are wondering about the new Sense UI but didn't "move on" to the new radio just yet, like me. It's not perfect, but I find it quite usable.
Thanks to nprussell and sanpei (and ahmgsk) for creating the base we could build upon.
The ROM to me doesn't feel yet like something that should deserve a 1.0 version number, hence the "alpha" status for now. It's got a few quirks here and there and some things don't work, but other than that I must say I quite like it. I've been running it as a day-to-day ROM for a while now. So don't be alarmed too much by the "alpha" status - if you don't mind the issues the ROM has, it's actually quite nice. Also, it's not the fastest of the bunch, but it's not that slow either. Also seems quite stable. Tested only on my phone so far, though (see my signature).
I'm not promising frequent updates (so please, don't expect them), but I'll try to work on it as time allows. I think the Legend RUU is the best 2.1 Sense UI available.
What's in the ROM and works without problems:
- The ROM should be multilanguage (tested English and Czech).
- 3D works great (see the second post for screenshot).
- Multitouch of course works as well, including the new "pinch home screen" in Sense UI.
- Google Maps replaced by the latest Google Maps modified by brut, thus multitouch works in them as well. And there's of course Google Navigation thanks to brut as well.
- Market Enabler added.
- Nexus One boot animation.
- Added some notification sounds and ringtones, all in Ogg instead of MP3.
- Default analog clock changed to Pulse clock (yeah, again )
- GPS, compass, accelerometer, all that jazz.
- Google and Social network sync, SIM contacts, Friends stream, animated weather on home screen...
What's known NOT to work:
- Bluetooth. At all. Yeah, here we go again. Sorry.
- USB mass storage. I've added the "USB mount" application to work around this issue.
- Autobacklight (obviously). It's enabled after install, though (the build.prop option to disable it by default doesn't seem to work for some reason).
- No app2sd, no swap, no nothing. For now. Swap and/or compcache might be added later (though it seems like the ROM does not really need it).
Quirks and known issues for v0.5:
- Not really an issue, but - the startup, especially the very first one, is quite long! It can take several minutes. It's even longer on v0.3. So have patience - if the boot animation is moving or the "unlocking SIM" spinner is spinning, it's still booting.
- Editing APNs may or may not produce FC and/or crashes.
- LED notifications. Orange LED doesn't work at all and the apps seem to be using only green LED for all notifications (even if the app uses different color on regular 32A - ie. Twidroid's blue notification light becomes green).
- Keys backlight doesn't work.
- Camera. If you take picture, the preview sometimes doesn't show up at all and when it does, it's in black & white. The thumbnails of the photos you took with this ROM in gallery are corrupted (several different issues). Even though there are these several issues, the actual photos are fine! You can view them on the phone fine, you can upload them fine (Here's one I took today and uploaded to Picasa and Facebook with this ROM)
- Camcorder. It seems it can be made to work if you set it to record video without sound. If you enable sound, it'll freeze as soon as you press the Record button.
- Because the Legend ROM is quite big, there's slightly less space for your apps. Nothing drastic compared to other ROMs, just saying.
- Sometimes, when the ROM starts up for the very first time, after completing the setup wizard you get the Sense home screen that is "incomplete", ie. doesn't contain the default flip clock and other widgets seem to be missing from the ROM as well (you can't even add them manually, they're missing from the list). If this happens, just go to Settings, Applications, Manage Applications. Find HTC Sense in the list, click on it and select "Clear data". When you return to your home screen, it reinitializes itself again and this time everything should be as it's supposed to be (and stay that way).

v0.6 Hero "sidestep" edition - stand-alone full wipe ROM
MD5: 8ceec3d730448b7ee97f09a35be7fb60
Description:
- This is a stand-alone "side project" ROM not worth its own thread. It's NOT meant to be the successor of WLegend 0.5! There WILL eventually be WLegend 0.6!
- Based on Sprint Hero files. It's not based on one specific leak, it's a mashup of different leaks including the official OTA.
- The fastest Eclair ROM I've seen, including vanilla Eclair (yes, I think it's even faster than CM5-test6 and certainly less power hungry, even though it's Sense)
- This ROM is English only except for keyboard input! You can set a different locale with MoreLocale2 (included), but it'll only affect non-system apps. The system itself will always be in English.
- Modified to remove the CDMA Hero quirks - you can dial numbers in international format just fine and you can also hide SIM contacts (
- The very latest (today's) CM 2.6.33.4 kernel with BFS and OC to 576MHz (it's perfectly safe)
- Thanks to Cyanogen's effort, we now have photo preview in Camera fully fixed. Thumbnails are still corrupted, though. And Camcorder still works only when not recording audio.
- Latest (I think) Brut's Google Map mod and HTC_IME mod by jonasl.
- Suffers from the "uncomplete home screen on first start" issue - please see the known issues for WLegend 0.5 above for workaround.
- Other WLegend 0.5 known issues present if not specified here otherwise, so please read the WLegend known issues carefully. Thanks.

v0.5 aka the "Twin" edition - *no-wipe update*
MD5: 1801c599f3ad35219a90a3518a078d49 - regular kernel
c34025be4cfbb2983f3cbe3c934a8f25 - OC kernel
Changelog:
- DO NOT WIPE! This is just an update for 0.4, not full ROM!
- All new and latest Cyanogen 2.6.33.3 kernel - many thanks to Cyanogen, Zinx, bcrook, pershoot and all the others for bringing it to MSM7k. It's certainly faster and more responsive.
- BFS enabled (I still prefer it over the usual schedulers)
- Available either with regular kernel (turbo mode enabled by default) or with overclock enabled kernel (max. 576MHz) - thanks to ToAsTcfh, pershoot, coolbho3000 and all the others involved in creating the OC patches. Use SetCPU to control the frequencies (autodetection works). Let me know which one do you prefer. You can switch between them by just reapplying the corresponding update, BTW.
- Compcache is now disabled by default again. In my opinion it doesn't really help on 32A and might actually be hurting. If you disagree or want to use a regular swap, just enable it by editing /system/memctl_config.
- HTC_IME mod by jonasl updated to v2.5.
- Wireless tether replaced with the working one.
- Live Rosie add-on for v0.4 might still be used on this version.
- Kernel modules loading fixed.
- Not really a change in the ROM, but it seems like you can get Camcorder working if you turn off recording of the sound. Will investigate more.

v0.4 aka the "I'm doing science and I'm still alive" edition - *full-wipe update* - MD5: 9ebf3d54c79a5cc1a1bb8ae29c5ca909
Changelog:
- Using some of the libs from the latest Hero CDMA leak
- Rearranged system folders so framework stays on system partition, hopefully improving speed and responsiveness a bit
- Added compcache/swap support based on SuperD - ROM now uses 24MB compcache by default, other options configurable by editing the /system/bin/memctl_config script file (settings are explained within the file)
- Added Shadow's renice script for Phone.apk, hopefully improving lag on incoming calls
- HTC_IME replaced by "super" HTC_IME by jonasl
- Added 3D Gallery (working rotation), Wireless tether and Wired tether (not tested, though, sorry)
- Misc. other minor changes
- Optional Sense UI with live wallpapers - see below in Add-ons section for more info

v0.3 aka "the uncommon name community edition" - *full-wipe update* - MD5: e8e5315b94098782a0d66979c41454c8
Changelog:
- Movikun is now working on the ROM with me (or should I say I'm now working with him? )
- Switch to WG kernel as we think it is now THE best kernel available for Magic/G1. Many thanks to all people involved with it and especially Wes himself, you're doing a fabulous job!
- With that in mind, renamed the ROM to WLegend. I'm sorry for the confusion, but I think it's for the best - sanpei's ROM is called Legend Sense now, but some people were already referring to it as Sense Legend, so we wouldn't want someone to think it's the same ROM
- Power off option fixed
- Black screen issue hopefully finally fixed (different setup wizard as well)
- Using re-optimized and re-packaged (and fixed) deodexed framework from Villain ROM, at least for now, so massive props to nprussell for creating it in the first place!
- Misc other optimizations, fixes and changes laying down the foundation for upcoming fixes
- More to come

v0.2.1 - *no-wipe update* - MD5: e60daac2d023bef916542efd004994eb
Changelog:
- Should fix the "dark picture" issue for video playback and camera.
- I've pulled the 0.2 update because I forgot to correct a small glitch that was causing the notification LED to light up constantly when it should be blinking. This glitch was only present in 0.2, it's not in 0.1. If you've already flashed the 0.2 update, just flash 0.2.1 over it. There are no other changes in 0.2.1.

- Just flash over your fully configured ROM, but you'll most likely need to reconfigure your home screen once it boots up
- VERY experimental and actually not recommended for everyday use, but YMMV
- Expect nasty things happening - sometimes it can freeze your phone when selecting different LWP or create other problems
- Recommended live wallpapers to use - Grass and Nexus One
- 3D apps don't really work when using this add-on

love to see something for old radio........hope that this rom will get updated......
downloading.....very slow......please update some more links (like 4shared).
nice job.
do you use the camera libs for new radio, or the libs of community mod for old radio?
Wooooooow very great work i love it soooooooooo much but i have over 90 apps in my sdcard i and i cant see them...........
great job, i hope you continue
So, the battery was just fine tonight (lost about 20% in 8 hours, which is normal for my phone and config), so either I fixed the battery drain issue with my previous tweaks or it really was just a random thing.

Checked before posting, checking now again and I'm already way past 22.8MB...so if you've got problems, they're either on your side or were just temporary.

If I remember correctly (I've done quite a few tests and don't keep notes), camera libs are from Kingclick's Hero Eclair, which I think was the only 2.1 Sense based ROM with (more or less) working camera on 32A for me.

I dont speak italian but I think he means he got a FC in the Settings App and a blackscreen after booting and entering PIN since I got this too.
Since Power Off isnt working one has to pull the battery.
Does any one have clue?

That's typical of the device not being stable at the clock speed, is still at the default clocks? I may have to bump down the speed if this is an issue.

Hmm ok, you can try installing setcpu and bump it down a notch, if it turns out to be a common problem then I'll adjust the default kernel frequencies.
@Switch33
does it have multilanguage support? (need dutch belgium ).
I was actually working on my own but now that you made one, the need for making one myself is pretty much gone
btw, I would clock it a little bit lower by default and use setcpu to bump it some higher if the phone handle's it
thnx for your work!! keep it up
P.s. got a small request. Don't know if you compiled the kernel from source, but if you do, could you use the slub alocater instead of slab? (if that isn't already the case) ^_^
edit:
some questions:
undervolted?
JIT ?
renice init scripts?
edit2:
Allready compiling carz12 kernel as we speak with slub instead of slab.
Will upload it later today and share it.
if it works well, I will repost it with a lot of kernel debugging disabled. I saw that the cm source that Carz uses has ktimes and stuff enabled. disabling this stuff shoud shaves off a little bit in boot time. I hope that this will apply to our phones as well. I do this stuff for embedded devices (routers) with a x86 base (amd/NS geode cpu's). But I have little to no experience on arm based devices.
thanks it realy fast and nice
also i have set CPU and i changed it to
max 576000
min 245760
its now working great and verry fast
ROM is unstable for me; used SetCPU to lower the clock speeds and it still has trouble waking from sleep or unlocking. Very annoying to say the least since the ROM is great when it's properly working.
EDIT: Rebooted phone and now a new problem -- all my downloaded applications are corrupted. I can not access any of them, just the default apps that came with the app. They do not show up in my app drawer but they show up in my Manage App. settings and they just appear as a 0kb with their system name on the side, not even the application name; seems like a reboot fixes this though.
Can those with problems try this kernel please.

[ROM][AOSP/CM6/CM7 CLONE]Simply AOSP 3.1.2[Special Thanks][Final Update 9-29-11]

Based on Android 2.2 Froyo EC05 Official Release. CWM3 and EXT4 only.
See change log in second post.
Welcome
Simply AOSP was created originally as a personal project but extended to something I thought I'd share. I noticed there was a missing link in the Froyo Roms, and that was a 100% functional AOSP OR AOSP-CLONE type of ROM.
Think CM7 with Samsung's Sources.
Requirements
CWM3
EXT4
Wipe x3
Your data WILL be lost when you flash this. The scripts intentionally don't backup and restore Data. I have noticed Mixed results with this type of data retention, backup with Titanium Backup BEFORE you flash. You've been warned
EC05 Modem (Newer Gingerbread Modems such as EF02 have also been reported to work just fine! As always I only test against the latest stable release which is EC05)
DI18 or EB13 Modem will automatically be updated.
Common Sense
What is it?
The goal of this ROM is to provide the most AOSP experience possible.
With that said. I'm not going to cripple certain aspects of the phones functionality simply in the name of AOSP. Therefore the Samsung Calendar / Email / Camera and Camcorder apps remain.
The Touchwiz Launcher has been removed, the Touchwiz Framework is still present because the core depends on it and it could not be easily removed (it may be plain and simply not possible).
Who will like this?
People who enjoy AOSP and want something that feels like stock android.
Bugs? Future? If I like this will you update it in the future?
Bugs:
You will need to run "/system/bin/sensorcalibutil_yamaha" to fix auto-rotate.. or it will be really slow.
Directions for this if you've never ran a script in *nix:
Open up ADB (adb shell)
From the shell prompt issue these commands..
1.) su
2.) /system/bin/sensorcalibutil_yamaha
3.) Place the phone on a level surface... hit enter. Done!
Will it be updated in the future?
Yes. But like any other ROM's, keep the ETA talk to a minimum. Bugs will be dealt with immediately if possible, enhancement/feature updates are on no schedule.
If you like this great! Enjoy using it.. if you don't like it.. that's fine to.. Credits to all the great developers who have made this ROM possible!

Starting Simply (Pun Intended) the first version allows for some in ROM theme changes..
-AM/PM Can be added and removed from the Status Bar in any choice of theme. Especially useful for those who use the 24 hour clock (Turn AM/PM on to restore the last two digits)
-AOSP Theme switcher with the choices of the two AOSP themes and Stock Touchwiz just to keep it true to this being a Samsung device.
-Ability to choose between different Lockscreen styles coming in the future.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Reverted back to stock EC05 Gallery
"AOSP-Clone" Messaging application - Thank you for the suggestion qbking77 and the responsible developer.
Past Versions:
Version 1.1.2.7
Fixed a few icons that were left over in the original theme.
Added battery % mod.
Modified the signal strength meter to be slightly more accurate. Your signal MIGHT appear weaker due to the increased accuracy, but you didn't actually lose anything.
-Semi-Nerdy Explanation: Sprints signal strength is being calculated to represent 6 bars if you count zero. It was setup for real bars 4,5 and 6 were represented by "full strength 4 out of 4 bars". This produced signal bars that were almost always full, which isn't a bad thing but not as accurate as it could be. I changed it to
1 and 2 real bars of strength is represented by 1 out of 4 bars in the icon (1/6 and 2/6 are roughly 16% and 33% signal strength, represented by 25% on the icon.)
3 real bars (roughly half strength) are represented by 2 out of 4 bars. (Self explanatory 3/6 and 2/4 = 50%)
4 real bars are represented by 3 out of 4 bars. (4/6 is 66% and represented by 75%)
5 and 6 real bars are represented by 4 out of 4 bars. (5/6 is 83% and represented by 100%)
So the inaccuracies in the icon are +/- 9-17% versus +/- 14-34% when I started.
Version 1.2.2.7
CynagenMod 6 Music Player with Status Bar integration. - Thanks to Eliot Stocker for the Mod.
^Samsung Music Player Removed.
AOSP Calculator Application replaces the Samsung one despite there being no functional difference.
AOSP Settings Icons
More theme changes - Improved Status Bar Toggle Appearance - Matches Power Control App (Thanks to Master, Author of the Vibrant AOSP Clone, 4 of the 5 icons are his.)
Improved Notification Overlay from TwFramework21
AOSP 2.2 Keyboard replaces the Gingerbread one (This will be controversial but this is AOSP 2.2.. not 2.3)
Added Car Home (Music shortcut is currently broken, looking into fix)
Added News and Weather App and Widget
Version 1.3.2.7 - Not being released, merged with 2.0
Fixed Duplicate Ringtones / Notification Tones.
Full Battery Popup and Tone remove - Thanks to untermensch for the write up.
Volume Hack - Thanks to the ViperROM team! Works great!!
Version 2.0
Based on Bonsai 2.0.1. Incredible increase in performance, probably due to the EXT4 mods/improvements, YMMV.
Battery life improvements.
Name changed to Simply AOSP.
All 1.3.2.7 changes are included in this.
Added protips (Useless? Maybe. AOSP? Definitely.)
Version 2.1
Based on Official Froyo EB13
New boot screen - Credits to OptmsPrm21
New kernel. - Credits to Rodderick
Sport Mode Camera FC Resolved (Thanks to our awesome new kernel)
Video Camera Lag Fixed (Also thanks to our new kernel)
Version 2.2
Wireless Tether added by default.
Wired Tether also added.
LogsProvider.apk fixed to no longer log text messages in your call log. Thanks to Mammon88. (This will not delete already existing SMS entries in your log, instead it just prevents new ones)
Samsungs Built in Screen Capture Service has been removed. (I was getting random force close issues with the .apk in place, use DroCap instead if you need shots)
Genocide Kernel with Keyboard Patch and 100mhz fix. (Improved Battery Life and Keyboard Response).
Carrier IQ service removed - Thanks to the ACS team.
Removed Samsungs Clock utility. Added Desk Clock
Version 3.0.2
3.0.2 Patch - 1x Icon Enabled
3.0.2 Patch - Browser Fixed (CM6 Browser not yet tested so just the stock Samsung browser is included. It will checkerboard occasionally but at least it doesn't crash anymore )
3.0.2 Patch - Rebuilt system - Fixed EB13/EC05 mixup.
3.0.2 Patch - Wireless Tether Included by default again. Fixed and works out of the box properly.
3.0.2 Patch - Wired Tether still included but not functional. EC05 breaks this functionality. As soon as there is a work around I will quickly implement it.
3.0.2 Patch - 3D Gallery with Multi-touch and Pinch to Peek (Credits to b-reezy for porting this over)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3.0.1 Patch - CM7 browser removed and replaced with the stock touchwiz browser for now until issues are ironed out.
3.0.1 Patch - LogsProvider.apk fixed to not include texts in your call log. (Thanks to k0nane!!!!!)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Greatly improved Browser from CM7. (Thanks to the ACS team!) No more checker boarding.
Removed Car Home for now.
100MHZ Step Disabled by default. A few times I had trouble waking the phone with the 100MHZ step enabled, however battery life could be improved with it enabled, you may play with it in Voltage Control. Be sure to click Apply for Now to put the setting into effect and Save as Boot Settings if you want to keep it for good.
Automatic Modem updating from DI18 or EB13 (Thanks to the Bonsai Team)
Wireless Tether Removed due to stability and functionality problems that I have been unable to resolve. Will look into adding it by default again in the future.
No longer a Froyo Clone, updated to a Gingerbread Clone
Froyo Theme Pack could easily be produced if there is a demand.
Keyboard Lag Fix + the addition of TheImpalers optimization.
Journaling now enabled by default to improve stability. Will create a likely unnoticed ~2% decrease in I/O performance
Gingerbread Desk Clock Application
Added Reboot to Power Options
Added Voltage Control for overclocking. (Stock is NOT overclocked, Overclock at your own risk!!)
Genocide Kernel
Ok. I'll try it in the am.

I made it very clear this is just my own set of customizations I made for my personal use.. I was tired of having to flash 4 zips to get back to my personal preferences. After making it I decided hey maybe others in the community would enjoy this.. so I called it a "Rom SORTA".. I don't want credit for anything.. I didn't do anything original.. just a combination of AOSP elements built on Quantum..that again started as something for just myself to reduce the amount of needed zips. I'm sure someone will enjoy it.. just not you.

Why not just make it a theme zip to turn any rom into the aosp look a like

Discontinued[ROM][JAN.22]HyperSensation v1.8 |base 2.3.7 - Small, fast (only 54Mb!)

23rd March 2012 - Message from the developer here
I believe that our Sensation can do a lot more / be a lot faster / and therefore we can be more productive than with the Sense ROMs.
I also like to customize my own apps in a given ROM, so any simple/minimalistic ROM is a plus for me.
I therefore present to all who like this approach my very own HyperSensation ROM release.
HyperSensation is now also on Facebook! HERE
Screenshots (HyperSensation):
- Download links, changelog and addons and extras in post #2
- Extras and other links (ie. kernel, addons, etc) in post#3
- FAQ and themes in post #4
What you get:
- Simple, minimalistic ROM to be a good base for your everyday needs (those who like every app to be in there "out-of-the-box" should steer clear)
- Speed tweaks to make the base to make it even faster and more responsive
- Tweaks to make battery life even better
- Tweaks to included apps (camera, mail, etc) to make the experince even more whole
- Lossless JPEG compression for photos taken
- GApps included so you do not have to install afterwards (Maps removed, but you can install Maps through the Market, and Talk from post #3)
- Smooth scrolling in all apps (disabled scrolling cache globally trhoughout the ROM)
- Always updated base to keep your flashing appetite full
All other addons/tweaks are exactly the same in the two branches, its just a matter of personal taste
Credits:
- Huge thanks to Vorbeth who started the CM9 builds for the Sensation!
- thanks to Pongster for the whole idea of creating a minimalistic yet usable build, I used to run his HyperDroidGBX when I still had my HD2...
- thanks to nitr8 and insanity ROM (SGS2) for the ideas and a couple of icons/theme images
- thanks to ljankok for the friendship in cooking
- thanks to vladnosferatu for the tweaks
- thanks to crypted for the AGPS patch
- thanks to septix for the excellent banners
- thanks to splder for the volume adjustments and the bootanimation
- thanks to AndroidON for the smooth scrolling fix and the volume steps mod HERE
ROM Releases
1. When you are finished setting up the device, do a normal reboot and then you will have normal operations!
2. I have deleted a number of apps so that the ROM can be as lean and minimalistic as possible. If you find you need any apps that I have deleted, go to post #3 (Addons and Extras) and you will most likely find the app you need there!

FAQ
Q: I get "Your device is not supported" in Market, even if I have LCD Density set to 240.
Background:
If your LCD density is NOT 240 (which is stock), then when you try to get an app from the Market, it will say "Your device is not supported".
The bummer is that the Market App remembers this, even if you flash the 240 stock LCD density patch.
A:
1. Flash the 240 LCD Density patch
2. Go to Settings/Applications/Manage Applications/All
3. Select Market
4. Select "Clear Data" under Market
You can now download the apps...
Q: I get FC's on writing any text, using the "M" version.
A: Disable predictive text in Language & Keyboard settings, because to save ~10Mb space I have deleted all dictionaries from the ROM.
Q: How can I have predictive text in the Minimalistic version?
A: It was deleted to make the ROM as lean as possible. You can download the original LatinIME.apk needed in the Addons section in post #3. Adb push the extracted file to /system/app and reboot.
Q: Issues with vibration not working? answer is provided thanks to SlwDrvr!
A: Ok so for those that are having vibration problems like I am. Here's the fix. Settings > Profiles > Make your own profile or you can change up the default > scroll down to the bottom "Application Groups" > select the ones you want to change or have vibration for > so for example SMS you will see Vibrate Mode on the bottom, second to last, select it and choose ON. do the rest for the other application groups and vibrate will work. for sure.
Q: How can I optimize battery life?
A: Do at least 2 full charge cycles to really measure battery life: flash the ROM, charge to full, let it drop below 15%, charge to full, let it drop below 15%, charge to full, and then evaluate.
Q: What dialer should you use?
A: If you do not like the default dialer and miss the T9 dialer from Sense, the 2 best dialers are (both free on the market) Dialer One and TouchPal Dialer. I prefer Dialer One as that blends in just nicely with my black theme I am using.

What is that awesome wallpaper?
You can get the full HD (1920x1080) version HERE. Just in case you want matching background for your desktop as well...
What are that awesome banners?
Well, a poweruser, Septix made those and was kind enough to share them! Thanks septix!!!

Can I have that as a splash screen instead of the white-green HTC logo?
Yes! Septix was kind enough to also create a splash screen for the ROM:
Extract the attached zip, and flash the nb file via fastboot!
Tips
For excellent battery life:
With the latest faux kernel!!!
Set the following in CyanogenMod Settings:
- Max clock 1.08 ghz
- Min clock 192 mhz
- Governor intellidemand
Which kernel should you use?
Try either:
- faux's kernel or the
- bricked kernel or the
- tiamat kernel
- or use the stock CM7 kernel included in the ROM
I personally use the faux kernel, but it is all personal preference, so I suggest to try all three of them to see which one feels best for your needs.
Which radio should you use?
I always use the latest available stable radio found HERE, as CyanogenMod was tested with it.
Haha I'm so quick on the draw lol...

I have used custom kernels, Faux and Bricked, with UV -50mV and tuned down screen off speed.
Heavy usage (calls, text, mails, Whatsapp, etc) - 1 business day
Light usage - 2 full days

Nice work! I like ADW launcher instead of aosp one. Top widget does not work (google search bar?) Seems to be not installed.
