[Q] Received official ICS update but cant install, why?

Hello,
I download today the ICS update for my Xoom MZ605.
I have the Team Rogue Touch Recovery.
When i select the Install Now option from the Updater, it fails in recovery with error Invalid package signature.
Then i disable the asserts and signature and tried to install on my own, usign the Install Zip from recovery.
Not worked either, failed from assert with "umts_hubble"
Are this errors from Motorola or because i have an unlocked bootloader and custom recovery? What should i do?

if u recieved stock ICS update (OTA), then u must be unrooted and have a stock recovery to be able to instal!
No need to lock bootloader.

[Q] Android Upgrade problem

Hi Guys,
I have a Motorola Xoom 32Gb
Android ver. : 4.0.4
Kernel ver : 2.6.39.4-g42a0480
[email protected]
I receive lately a message to upgrade but when i chose yes i got this error message after some minues :
Rogue XM Recovery 1.5.0 (CWM-based Recovery v5.0.2.8)
Finding update package
opening update package
verifying update package
E: failed to verify whole file signature
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted
What shall i do ?

if it's an official update and you're running stock, you must run a stock recovery to update

Help From experts needed Desperately ! E: signature verification failed MOTO G XT1032

Now that the 5.0.1 update is out for 2013 MOTO G GPE(XT1032) . I have been trying to install it ... I tried both OTA and sideloading ... But ****ty Error : Signature verification failed wont just leave me . I had rooted and unlocked KK 4.4.4 so i thought may be it was due to tinkering. So i Flashed the Stock recovery KTU84P 3e... i flashed the stock rom (GPE_XT1032_KTU84P.M003_CFC.xml) than i relocked my device again .. i then tried sideloading once again but again that same E: signature verification error ... I have been doing nothing for the past two days but trying to update to Lollipop .. and now ihave become desperate ...PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP !!!!

thanks for trying to help .. but i already tried this .... not workin for me .. i have now even tried to install CM 12 and other roms .. .. even they are not installing

copy paste the file name into google search bar and u will find the file download link .. i have tried numerous tutorials ... 4.4.4 stock gpe installs without any problem ... but when it comes to sideloading or automatically updating via OTA ... error always pops up

Plz guys
I have lg g3 d856 dual sim ... I have tried to root it by purple drake and ioroot but i have a problem in stock recovery when i click on apply update from external sdcard to make root this problem face me ....
E: signature verification failed
Installation aborted
plzz i want solution for that

Hey you can't flash any zip form stock recovery because the language of stock recovery thant it understand is definitely different form other custom recovery.
So, tried to install from custom recovery like CWM,TWRP,etc

In lg g3 you can't install custom recovery without root and root made by stock recovery !!

How can install custom reccovery? My device is rooted

Can I upgrade to Marshmallow via OTA if my phone is rooted ?

Lenovo k3 note. It's is rooted and cwm recovery is installed. I downloaded Marshmallow update through OTA but the update failed to install. Is it because of the cwm recovery ? Also after the update failed to install, it's asking again to download the update. Any help ?

u have modyfied your system... you have to be on stock rom without any modification to your system if without this your trying to install OTG it may soft or hard brick your device.... soo be careful h take a expert advice before updating it
