"Market Fix" App fixed this problem
I had the same problem & Market Fix App fixed it.
It was due to cache problem on Internal memory.
After this fix I have downloaded 4-5 apps of size 20MB each & no problems.
Ok guys, i need help... I have the Motorola Milestone xt720 with cronos X Rom. At first boot, everythin was fine. The phone only has 225 mb of ram and the system had left me with an average of 30 mb of RAM. You can use a tweak to overcome your problem.
DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
As you have your phone rooted, go to /system/build.prop and edit it with a text editor (You can use Root Manager for this process) and add this line at the bottom of the page
"ro.HOME_APP_ADJ=1" (without quotes)
After adding this line carefully reboot your phone and clear memory with your phone's task manager and you can observe a much of ram left.
CAUTION: DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG WITH YOUR PHONE.

If you have fast sdcard or internal card you can SWAP. search it. it's basically partitioning your sdcard to be a part of the RAM

If there is a shortage of ram, I don't think locking the launcher in memory will help.

But what i think is that with this tweak all the unwanted background apps get cleared off leaving a wide range of ram to use.

Try marking "grant" in default access option and see if it helps.

I tried that but it didnt work... i thought the root might have been taken away by some app so i tried rerooting it but it got stuck on Starting ADB Server, then i thought, maybe i can unroot it, so i downloaded a root uninstaller but it needed root access which it cant verify

Try to enhance ur phone performance by installing v6 super charger....it speeds up your ram and phone.......

RAM-expander allows you to make extra ram available, as a swapfile on your sd card.
You need a fast card for this, but the dev has a utility you can run first to check compatibility.
Also look at auto memory killer, which is not a task killer rather it manages the minfrees, so your can keep as much memory free as possible

i got cm9.1 built 9.. and im using link2sd on that.. i created autolink.. but apps are still occuping space in the internal memory..even its showing linked to sd also in link2sd app.. how to change it to 2nd partition??
PS. i got FAT32 patition..
Apps will leave icons in internal memory. You have to create link & link all three files to SD card.
Linked->Sdcard means all the files of that particular app have been moved to SD 2nd partition.
If you find internal memory is getting unusually full where as you have maximum apps in 2nd partition, then wait for a while for the link2sd to load completely. Your problem will be resolved.

just download m2sd no config and flash it reboot twice but do check to remove link2sd after a deleting file named install-recovery.sh and you will be happy

Hey, then what is internal memory.
Sent from my HTC Explorer A310e using Tapatalk 2
Internal memory is phone's own storage space. We use sd 2nd partition to increase it using scripts like link2sd, apps2sd or mount2sd.

Sorry for such a noob question but can we connect the device using usb mode to transfer files, etc after having applied these scripts like mount2sd,link2sd,etc?

I think i shall give mount2sd a try.

Yes, it seems much better. Internal memory (158mb) has been configured as sd-ext. And sd 2nd partition has been configured as internal memory. Mount2sd handles data more efficiently.
See the screenshots...

One thread under yours: [Q] How to move apps to sd card?
i had read that post but my questione is a bit different.
I cannot move the application in the 4GB internal space seen as SD. (In the post you link he wants to move in the external micro sd)
A friend of mine that doesn't have the app preinstalled have moved it to SD

That's propably why you can't move it. As it's a system app, it's placed in a system folder, so it's unmovable from there. Same goes for any other preinstalled app.
i think so... but i tkink when you update an app a complete copy Will be created and so could moved...

Yes, u just need to root your phone and download titanium backup(only rooted phone can use it because it allows the user to uninstall system app ) then uninstall soundhound using the app. Soundhound is available for download in play store so u can download it and move it to sd card.

He's not talking about RAM, more like data partition. Download mount2sd from play store. Before you do make sure you have a 1gb ext4 partition on your sd card as a second partition. This can be done in 4ext
