i got cm9.1 built 9.. and im using link2sd on that.. i created autolink.. but apps are still occuping space in the internal memory..even its showing linked to sd also in link2sd app.. how to change it to 2nd partition??
PS. i got FAT32 patition..
Apps will leave icons in internal memory. You have to create link & link all three files to SD card.
Linked->Sdcard means all the files of that particular app have been moved to SD 2nd partition.
If you find internal memory is getting unusually full where as you have maximum apps in 2nd partition, then wait for a while for the link2sd to load completely. Your problem will be resolved.

just download m2sd no config and flash it reboot twice but do check to remove link2sd after a deleting file named install-recovery.sh and you will be happy

Follow that thread and try it. I won't use mount2sd now. I am quite comfortable with link2sd.
Later i will try m2sd.

Hey, then what is internal memory.
Sent from my HTC Explorer A310e using Tapatalk 2
Internal memory is phone's own storage space. We use sd 2nd partition to increase it using scripts like link2sd, apps2sd or mount2sd.

USB Mode when have using mount2sd?
Sorry for such a noob question but can we connect the device using usb mode to transfer files, etc after having applied these scripts like mount2sd,link2sd,etc?
Yes. You can.
I think i shall give mount2sd a try.

Yes, it seems much better. Internal memory (158mb) has been configured as sd-ext. And sd 2nd partition has been configured as internal memory. Mount2sd handles data more efficiently.

That won't work on stock ROM's
Use MiniTool partition manager on your computer for partitioning your SD card (use Fat32) of course via USB or card reader.
Insert SD card in your droid.
Open link2SD,
And try with fat32 or ext2 script.
It should work, if it doesn't precise yourself !
Don't forget to hit thanks if I helped you.

Have you partitioned your SD card? You need to do that first. BTW, if you partition the SD card like cute princes guide and flash oc kernel, you don't need a memory script

if I repartitioned my card every time I tried a new script, I've always been super happy with cronmod int2ext but I get status 0 or nosequé when flash it, and other scripts like or mount2sd ungaze not get anything.
Flash oc kernel after making partitions. You need two extra ext partitions by the way. Then check memory. No script needed

He's not talking about RAM, more like data partition. Download mount2sd from play store. Before you do make sure you have a 1gb ext4 partition on your sd card as a second partition. This can be done in 4ext
