Hey guys I just discovered something new to me thats silly and fun.. So I know in most Android versions if you goto System Settings>More>About Device>Android Version and tap repeatedly you get a picture of whatever version of droid your running.
Well this time do the same thing and when the Jelly Bean pops up then swipe a circle around it and a whole bunch of little flickable jelly beans start floating arround.. I know I just didnt unlock a bootloader or anything, but hey what can I say Im easily amused...
Hahaha, that would make a bad ass live wallpaper. Just did it on my S3.
That is an Easter egg and has been there since 4.0.4 I want to say. Even 2.3.5 and .6 had a quick animated video easter egg by repeatedly clicking the android version quickly.

The biggest development outside of the AOSP projects is that a Canadien version of the Glacier was announced which came stock with pure sense 2.1 gingerbread. We're recently gotten that ROM leak, and as a result have had gingerbread sense ROMs popping up all over the place. Add to that several leaks of Sense 3.0 that were spliced together to build a pretty solid ROM based on the new Sense framework that should be included with the dual core phones hitting stores this summer. Also source was released for a GB Sense kernel that faux has managed to put together so that we now have access to a great kernel to pair with these new ROMs.
AOSP news is pretty much the release of 2.3.4 that includes video chat in google talk. Also the announcement of 3.1 Ice Cream Sandwich coming soon.
There are quite a few more devs now for the MT4G.
Ty so much. What rom are you using?

oh wait, you said ROM not theme. No comment
i am expecting it come out
End of 2012
its not a developer phone
So I guess the UNOFFICIAL ROM will come for sure...BUT at around END of 2012 or Starting of 2013
I jus going to buy this phone but I did not because the ICS ROM won't come Soon
Well, for the CM7-minded, there's already an Ice Cream Sammich theme available. Although that obviously requires you have CM7 installed on your Triumph, which could certainly have its due share of problems.

If I got ICS I'd get used to the theme - but I'd still ADW.Launcher with my Minimalistic theme. I want it for things like the improvised email app.
What is DJ ICS?
DJ ICS is a mix of a great theme and an arguably the best ROM for the i727.
This is what you get when you mix Sky Ice Cream Sandwich with ICS Perfection. There are two different versions. DJ ICS (based on stock skyice) and DJ ICS Plus (based on speed sky ice).
Antutu score of 7144
Special thanks to:
seanzscreams & wali01x for all their hard work with Sky Ice and ICS Perfection.

Force close of ICS Laucher on boot
Once it the launcher restarts it doesn't happen again
There is an issue with Faux Clock
Run it to set your clock speed, but do not let it set on bootup
When this happens your second core goes into sleep mode.
I have done testing with System Tweaks and have moved to that for my overclocking needs
I will leave Faux in there for now but if I don't find a fix it may be replaced in the next version
Install Guide:
Use Clockwork Mod
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
install zip from SD Card
Restart phone and wait for everything to settle and the media card scanner to complete before touching anything.

Took it for a quick spin:
First thing I noticed, the Charging Battery Icon is not scaled properly - it blinks from Fat battery (w/charge symbol) to skinny plain battery (no symbol). Flashing one of Seanz battery mods reverts the theme back to the original SkyceCream theme.
I like the the pop-up boxes and grey treatment, although they appeared a little dark compared to the ICS build my GF's Nexus runs. One of the things I did not like about Seanz theme are the blue borders and the 'thinking' swirl, I like the basic look. Other than that, was quick and speedy just like Seanz build... which I have reverted back to for now.
What I was really hoping for was a UI that could be scaled correctly with a DPI change, without various UI elements losing their formatting.
Whoah, where did haptic feedback go?
Good rom, just one think. Why did you remove at&t visual voice mail ? This is great addition if you have at&t.

Yeah I see haptic feed back isn't working on the speed not sure about stock so I will take a look. I broke it along the way some where, but will should be able to find it pretty quickly and fix it.
As for the battery, I will fix that tonight.
Any interest in a circle battery?
I am more of a stock battery kinda guy but I know some people just love that circle battery.
This is for android L discussion.
Please stay on topic.
Please refrain from android L discussion on other threads to avoid confusion.
I was hoping someone would start this thread. I'm very much interested to see if the CyanogenMod team goes ahead and releases some kind of preview or nightly build using the code that comes out. I'm pretty exited to see this new UI in action.

L stands for ugLy.
I think the Android L update is trying to copy iOS 7's flat design. Intentional or not, I don't like the direction the devs are going. Those navigation buttons are hideous. It's not a PlayStation controller. (Zing!) If Android L is optimized more for speed and battery life then I hope ROM devs will be all over it. If not, forget it.
And what's with "Android L" anyway? What happened to our food theme? Are KitKats the epitome of food? Next version should be called Sushi.
Now I just made myself hungry for sushi.

It's alphabetical. Ice cream sandwich, Jellybean, Kitkat, then L. I-J-K-L. So it might be Lollipop or something. So far the name has not been leaked.

I never picked up on that. I'm a (since May) Android newbie please accept my humble humbleness.
Maybe they'll go with Licorice. Not black Licorice, though. Yuck. (Also assuming they stick with commonly known editable licorice and not licorice root. Ha. Licorice root. How to root Licorice on your LG G2. Okay Licorice is officially a weird word now that I've typed it enough)

It would have to sweet lasagna. It's always something sweet like candy or desert.
hope to CM working on it
I have read a lot about this version
There's a big change between KK and L, this mean a lot of working porting the new structure and as for CyanogenMod this mean waiting for more information and structure to be released
We will have to wait around 2 months till first releases of cm appear
And talking about design, some how is true we're following iOS design but not at all, Google is looking forward a minimal but colored ui and that's when L appear :good:
You wont see any android L offcial cm roms until its released in the fall. Its just a dev preview now. Not meant to be used as a daily.
Besides i hate the UI from what ive seen. Google needs to unify the color scheme of android.
Hi all, any news on this? has anybody tried out a version of L in your d800's?
Currently, my D800 is running 4.4.2. It came that way.
The LG version of KK works perfectly and I have no need to flash a custom.
I've rooted it and TWRP'd it and uninstalled some system apps. So this stock rom is beautiful and does everything I need it to and more.
Having said that, Lollipop would be nice because of the raw file option in the camera.
Up until I got the LG G2 I was sorely disappointed in the efforts of Google/Samsung to do anything worthwhile with photography even though they were always hypying the Nest Big Thing, LMAO.
LG G2 is the perfect smart phone all the way around. It is even better than its successor, the battery hogging G3.
So I don't know if I want Lollipop or not. Things are working just fine the way they are.
This is the first Android phone I've had that just outright shames the iPhone.
is there any developement on official Lollipop update. any leaks or website xml indicator that its under way? i hate when i was waiting for kitkat update on LG OG and which never happens.

Guess it depends on your definition of a game lol
Jellybean and KitKat included cute interactive items, Lollipop introduced a "game".
However the feature in general has been available since gingerbread. And yes people considered it a game since jelly bean. One of my friends even thought for us to play air hockey with the jelly beans.
And in Kitkat some people would try and see if they could get them to be all of one size type of square.
And so far Nougat has kind of killed the joy out of this
