is there any way in which we can reset the number of rom flashes??????
First of all this shouldn't be in Development section.
Micromax(or Mediatek) isn't brave enough to put a binary counter in their phone.
Only Samsung phones have it FYI
Any mod...please shift this thread to question and answers section...

Moved to Q&A as requested (Should have know) - Sorry
First of all... move this to the right forums (Q&A). What's with all these people posting it in the development forums?
Second... if you are not too busy, which doesn't seem like from your post, use the search feature and also try the wiki, it might just as well answer your questions.
Sorry
Sorry, my mistake. I thought the Q&A forum was for just general questions about the Hero as where my questions were mostly Android Development related.
Also, I did go through pages and pages of these forums and been through the wiki many times which was how I was able to successfully root and flash my hero. I just want to verify all my knowledge in it's entirety so that I may help other... The post explains this.
I'll move it, thanks for the heads up. Hope no one tl;dr 's it.
Just wanted some input im running mb1 baseband on beans 18 build I was going to flash mf1firmware just remember reading complaints on the f1 baseband just wanted to make sure theres no downside to flashing f1 right now I have great signal , and can I flash back if I do flash the f1 firmware
Sir. You have 31 posts. Why not just post in the dedicated thread in the development section to get an answer more easily for your question (which is in the wrong section btw) instead of making a whole new thread in general? I would understand if you had less than 10 posts but you don't. And I'm pretty sure in that thread there is multiple discussions about modems and such. You've been a member for almost a year and 2 months. You should know better. But to answer your question, there have been different reports about MF1. Some good some bad. If you already have good signal don't change it IMO. But if you want to test it out you can always flash back if your signal worsens.

Hi assist team..
I want to root my phone, which is..
Model Number: SM-N900
Android Version: 4.4.2 (currently still using original update, and have KNOX)
Baseband Version: N900DXUDNC1
Kernel Version: 3.4.39-1185114 [email protected] #1 Mon Apr 14 19:33:46 KST 2014
Build Number: KOT49H.N900XXUDND1
SE for Android Status: Enforcing SEPF_SM-N900_4.4.2_0011
and I had look at this thread (i was using note 2 N7100 before, and always using CF AutoRoot by ChainFire too)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=46098951&postcount=3
what I wanna ask is:
1.When I open knox app on the app list, it has "install" button, but in application manager there are some knox (com.sec.know.eventsmanager, KLMS agent, KNOX, Knox notification manager, and KNOX store).
is that mean i had my KNOX on? if yes, should I remove using Knox Removal?
or by uninstall in "about knox" in knox app (I read it in another thread about how to remove knox),
or can I just flash the CFAutoRoot and there gonna be an options to disable the knox (I forgot where I read about this..)?
2.I searched and read at that thread, some people using the same file and same way (I assume they use the correct way to root too) but some got success rooting their gadget, some got fail (like stuck in odin rooting process or bootloop, so they need to fix the firmware using samsung kies). so, is that normal to have like gambling outcome (if you lucky get success, and can be fail too)? Or, if I follow the instruction correctly, I won't get the chance to fail in rooting my SM-N900?
I already tried to read all over that thread to search this but no result in finding the cause of some people got fail even they used correct file and correct way. Thanks a lot for the help
Hi!
You've done your homework! Very good to see!
You have 8 posts under your belt....2 more and you can post in the thread you linked. That's the best place to ask those questions.
I suggest maybe browsing the Q&A section for your device and contribute a couple more constructive posts, or questions....then you're set to ask in that thread..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/help
Or you can start start a thread in Q&A for your questions. Honestly, best to get to 10 posts and ask in the thread you linked tho.
Good luck!

Hi!
Here is your device section,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-2
The development sections have many roms to choose from, assuming you have installed a custom recovery.
If not, I suggest reading the guides and frequently asked questions threads in the General and Q&A sections... Usually near the top of the first pages.
There's a lot to read and learn about here... You'll need to dedicate time for this hobby.
If you have further questions , you can open a thread in the Q&A section.
Good luck!

I am using samsung galaxy j7 2016 and rooted it using magisk. But when i tried to revert to stock after getting bored, it booted up and showed no command screen after flashing and on pressing volume up+ power button, it showed some recovery logs(image attached). Now i dont know where the issue came from. I also wiped efs by mistake but restored it somehow.
Now i decided to flash custom rom to fix this issue. I chose the rom which is flashable version of my stock rom. It booted up normally and showed all the efs info normally. But then i did the most foolish thing, i turned off developer options by mistake which also turned off oem unlock. I rebooted the device for no reason and phones says ' custom binary blocked by frp lock'. I tried to flash stock rom again to fix this issue but it encountered no command error again and i either cant access stock recovery.
Is there any way to unlock oem in download mode and fix no command issue.
I want to recap that i have a phone with inaccessible stock rom, locked oem and no access to recovery except download mode.
Please help me
