I was using the formels MIU os and everything was fine. I flashed Brainmaster's Stock ICS 4.0.3 and then lost signal. I can't search for networks nothing. I even tried installing the radio that corresponds to my phone, which I assume is UCKF1. I have gone back to MIU and STILL have no signal.
I've tried *#*#4636#*#* and selecting the band to USA.
When flashing other roms and kernels, this never happened to me. Any help please? Been trying to fix this since yesterday and now luck D'x
Probably the wrong radio. Download the full stock 2.3.6 for your device and flash only the radio from there.
I am actually haveing the same issue, seems to be efs is currupted...

maybe you can go down to 2.36 then update to 4.0 again

You mean restoring from nandroid backup? That won't do the trick because CWM backup doesn't include radio. You have to use the full OTA package for your phone model.

Flash a diff one
If u used brainmasters with the new radio you could of just flashed an older one. I had that problem too went back to b3 and worked fine
ive recently got the p920 and it was locked to orange so ive unlocked it but now i want to get rid of the orange bloatware. I have now rooted and installed CWM recovery and have attempted to install a stock rom now heres were my problem starts the rom installs fine but there baseband doesnt so i dont get a signal ect. so my question is have i done summit wrong when installing from zip in recovery?

You mean that your mobile running 2.2 and you install a costum rom (.zip) ??
This costum rom may be a gingerbread rom so you must upgrade your phone officially before flashing costem rom .

my base band is L6260_MODEM_SIC_01.1042.00
software version LG920-V20D-JUN-27-2012
android version 2.3.5
this is an orange based rom n would like to have it on stock
there is different stocks on different times (first was v10a)
this is not your base band This is INFINEON stuff.. go to market place and take GetRIL
Install. Run, See your base band version.
You can also isntall from there the recommended RIL for your configuration. Wait a minute (do not exit the program). if you do not have still signal - then RESTORE RIL back from the program (the program make a backup of you RIL when you install new one)
I've tried that getril and it said baseband matched but still no imei number once I've installed a custom/stock Rom. Looks like ill have to keep the orange Rom

IMO getril is pretty useless and most of the time you're better off when they don't match.
Why are you uncomfortable flashing a baseband? Its not as simple as a zip and can be a pain but once you get it, you have so many more options.

Just to say that CM10 nightly works fine with V21A Europe after some reboot. I'm downloading JB_Multi-Pack++ V3 for Gapps : WORKS !

EDIT : After some hours and test, the BB disappears then i'm forced to re flash cm10. So, this nightly can't be used daily. No fully network. Wait a new nightly :fingers-crossed:

Can you tell if you were on ported ICS? And what you was running before CM10?
Although flashing with V21A or V21E, it always stucks at CM logo loading :crying:. There's also a strange pic after loading LG logo.
I was on Thiaiz 2.8 (V21E) -> flash to V21A Europe -> Flash CM10.
or try from a cm7 then flash cm10

Same Problem as cm7 here! Just Reboot and wait a few Minutes and then search for Network! Happens about 2 times a Day
If you dont reflash when phone bug , it will reboot by itself ater a while then you have to pull out the battery and pull it back and the phone should restart with baseband recognized
im having trouble with the camera.. it force closes..
i was using cm7.2, the camera had 3D.
cm10 nightly dnt hav 3D photo nd video capture?
No, CM10 haven't 3D. But with Multipack++ Gapps you have the 4.2 camera app.
Btw, im' return to Thiaiz 2.8 V21E ^^ Keep in waiting a better stability
I tried to flash with many ROMs, but it didn't work. The phone just keeps loading at CM logo. Maybe I should flash back to GB and wait for st new :angel:

The title is misleading since for many it still doesn't boot up. For the ones it do work for it either doesn't show bb, it may work without sim card freeze with it etc... This seems to more like a test rom than anything, now don't get me wrong I'm very greatful for the updated roms that lies good could never provide but I'm going to wait to a stable version or RC version to be released. Thanks to all that do tests so jb can get up and running!

I only have .kdz because LG Flash Tools refuse to work on my computer :crying:

I already got the link to v21A.kdz tnx for the Lg extract 0.2.1.. I flashed cm10 first nightly(v10e bb) but my network is working, shows unknown baseband.. is there any chance it will work with V21A BB? Or should I the other nightlies..
I flashed it and everytihng is fine except my bluetooth wont turn on :/

Use the V21D Baseband then flash Bernie's stuff using this Guide. (Ignore step 2 and 6). Format sd card, Wipe, flash CM10, flash Gapps, Wipe again, fix permission and reboot
It will works !

am running v20b baseband each time i flash cm10 there will be no network signal and after a min the phone shut down try powering it ,yet didnt only when i remove the battery

Hi,
i tried to flash cm 10.2 on my photon Q today.
I had the latest official rom working for half a year but i was missing some features i couldnt get with stock.
Anyway its a simcard modded unit i use in germany i was running stock jellybean (rooted, motochopper method) until today.
First i unlocked the boatloader, flashed latest open recovery and then flashed CM10.2 latest nightly (GSM) + gapps, after that i did a factory reset with open recovery.
After i configured the new firmware i noticed that i had no gsm, it didnt even ask for the pin of my locked card. I tried to switch from CDMA to GSM but with no effect. I also tried several reboots but i couldnt change the mobile network or get gsm to work.
I then tried to flash the latest cm snapshot but it doesnt work as well, the only difference is that the phone service always crashes when i try to change the network method.
Doesn anyone else have a idea? The thing is currently useless to me...

i looked at the build.prop and those options except:
ro.telephony.default_network=3
dont appear in the file...
Also this talks about GSM Data problem, i cant even do phonecalls/sms, its not even asking for my sim code..
I then tried to flash back to stock but now RSD Lite 6.1.5 wont show my device... (all drivers installed).
Im really getting frustrated.
EDIT:
ok tried another PC with Win7 (mine runs 8.1) and now RSD Lite seems to work
Update: Now back to stock... GSM Works fine after i activated it... i now try to reflash cm10.2 and see what happens

i dont know what went wrong the first time cause i did exactly the same as far as i know...

Indeed this line was likely the relevant one

For a week or two now, I've been having a strange issue, if my WiFi is on I can't call or people who try to call me get the notice that I'm unreachable.. SMS works fine. If I disable WiFi and use mobile internet everything's fine.
Don't know what triggered this?!
I don't have the time to investigate properly, so I thought I'd throw it on XDA..
I have flashed different Radios and a few 4.4.4 AOSP Roms, no luck..

I would flash the factory image and see if you still have the problem. If you do it's probably a hardware issue and I'd rma the device

ok fixed 3 phone now , what i exactly do
1) Flash only the radio (without wipe device) phone work well no problem 2G ,3G,LTE ( before just working 2G and rarly ) , but when i make call , call end after 1mn on both phone , for repair :
1) unlock boot loader
2) flash it with original room from thsi site : https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images using same versoin on phone
cause my 2 nexus 5 one : 4.4 and second 4.4.3
so for conclusion to repair you eed to steps :
1- flash radio (same version on phone)
2- full flash phone with same version (ex if it was 4.3 so use 4.3, if 4.4 use 4.4)

when you receive this problem just go menu about and scroll down , you will see KTU84P or TU84M or other , so you need just to flash this one as same version i men if you cell KTU84P so use same to Radio file
and for wipe device , you do it or no , no problem because on my shop i reveice allot of phones so no have time to backup i just flash radio to preserve information for customer and 60% working and network 3G/LTE fixed if not fixed so you need to pass to second step (full flash )
for full flash i use : Factory Images "hammerhead" for Nexus 5 (GSM/LTE) from thsi site : https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images

I managed to fix it.. W00t!!
I think I get it now, I tried reflashing factory image, KTU84P latest for me (I'm in Belgium), but that didn't work, then I thought about wat the stock rom was when it was shipped, I guessed it was the KOT49H build, so I kept the system image from KTU84P and flashed the radio image from the KOT49H build and voila! it worked.. So I think you have to flash the radio that the cellphone was originally shipped with..
Anywayzz I'll keep you posted how things end up when I flash other roms again.

So i've been f****** around some more and found out that I only experience the no calling during wifi bug using a modem version radio-hammerhead-m8974a-2.0.XX.X.XX I can always fix it again by flashing a previous version starting with 1.0.XX.X.XX this is all on stock rom on every android version. Running LRX21O now with radio 1.0.25.0.23
Still think this is some weird sh** and why only handfull of people have this?
So simply said: from radio v2 upwards (which came with 4.4.3 update) when wifi is enabled I can't make calls and people can't call me..
