[WIDGET][4.0+] Clean&simple notes widget - Android Apps and Games

I tried many notes, but most of them were ugly, or it was impossible to add notes directly from home screen.
Even official google notes are ugly (on the other side, they're of course rich featured).
So in few days I created this small, beatifull and simple notes widget, maybe you would like it:
Notes Widget

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
It's just a simple demo now, howeever you can let me know about your experiences or if you want to implement some feature...
Next updates:
- working on cloud synchronization (well, we will see...)
- working on option to add notification (alarm) on notes
PS: it's completely free, without ads, no need to pay anything, with highly customizable and clean design.

new version available on market:
- many small fixes
- option do delete single note by 1 click
- few small improvements
TODO:
gmail synchronization is half done, it will be finished in few weeks as I'm busy now

New version now in market. Huge improvements:
v.2.0
- fixed bug when adding notes on Android 4.4
- custom reminder/alarm functionality
- exporting importing notes
- new look, brand new settings and new options available
- many small improvements
- added portugal, czech translation
Anybody wants to help me with translation for other languages?
Do you have any suggestiops, tips, bugs, questions...? I would love to hear them.

Simple and clean but I have an issue when setting a reminder.
I can't go over the 8th of March, 2014 as you can see in the screenshot.

Yeah sure. It's purpose - reminders are allowed maximum 1 month in advance. I think it's quite reasonable period, I wanted to avoid users scroll over months and years too easy - it can happen that they set reminder on next year on same month and then they would write me why it didn't ring or so

Why not increase the limit to one year minus one day? Problem solved.

Can be. I just do not see any reason why to set reminder for example 11 months in advance as this is really not common use case...But good to hear also other opinion, I can change it in next version

I can think of plenty of reasons.
Reminder: get travel insurance. Time: next summer.
Reminder: new ice skates. Time: next winter.
Reminder: buy new passport. Time: before old passport expires.
Reminder: pay back loan. Time: St. Never's Day.
etc.

Ok, it was fixed. Now you can set alarm also 50 years in advance I also fixed few other problems in latest version.

[APP] G-Alarm 0.2

Good news everyone
We've just released the first public beta version of G-Alarm for Android.

This version contains some of the most important features and is pretty stable. Nevertheless - as this is still a beta version - we recommend you to set up an additional alarm clock the next couple of days.
Of course some important features are still missing but we'll include them (e.g. Shake/Turn face down to snooze or stop an alarm).
Stay tuned!
This beta version will work until 2011/01/31.
Have fun with it!

Happy new year! Beta 0.2 has been released!
Wow amazing, I was waiting for this app since months, the only one I was missing from my WM phone
Thank you so much, will try it for sure !!!
One of the greatest apps on my WM6 phone now on my android?! I can die happy now.
Thank you ageye!
I was just looking on the market for this yesterday as I am now moving from WM to android
Awesome, going to try this out tonight! I've been trying ElectricSleep and every day it gets worse... Records a few hours, never starts recording, records but doesn't save... and every single update wipes stats and settings.
Cheers
EDIT: Oops, confused.. I did use G-Alarm in WM, but I was thinking of Sleep Sense.. :/
Dev... Please keep a simple free version (with ads) and a paid version for the bells and whistles full release.. I liked the polish of the WM app, but it became a little bloated after many revisions (mazes, turn over mutes, math problems) and other whatnots. I also recall it being a pain to have to refresh my alarms after every ROM change.. Can we have a logfile in SD that remains post flash?
Thanks!

like the idea of free/paid versions but more so that g alarm is coming to android. it is still my go to alarm for win mobile.
i also never used the mazes or math problems an such but just left them un checked and it can be simple to reload your alarms after a flash...just do a export before flash then a import after

I've been using electricsleep (love it!! Never fails to work!). Will G-Alarm include sleep tracking too?

That's a good idea about the log file. I remember resetting my settings after every flash too, but I think if you get titanium it will back up your settings when you back up and restore the app, although I could be mistaken.
Also, I'd just like to say that I don't care about free/paid versions, because I'm probably going to pay for this. I WANT THIS APP. No other alarm I've tried has even come CLOSE to G-Alarm.
I've recently been a victim of "smarter alarm" which was a terrible failure for me. Go G-Alarm go!
Looks great.
I am running into the issue (reported on the Ageye.de forums) that when I try to open Settings, the app FCs. So a fix for that would be required for the app to really be useful.
Otherwise looking great.

[Widget] Pregnancy Due Date Widget

Track pregnancy of yourself or friend/family member with this simple pregnancy due date widget. Cute widget that displays what week of pregnancy you are in and how many weeks left until baby arrives! Calculation based on due date and can calculate due date from first day of Last menstrual period (LMP).
Choose from 4 widget colors: Yellow, Blue, Pink and Transparent.
Text color is fully customizable including the Alpha channel.
Display is cute but not gender specific so male or female can feel comfortable displaying this on their phone! Baby name can also be displayed.
The rubber ducky image on the widget can also be customized to display anything you choose. An ultrasound image looks great and adds a personal touch. Image can also be removed entirely leaving only the text on your home screen.

Separate calculator activity that lets you set your Due Date or LMP and see how far along you will be at a specific date. Great for planning Vacations and Business trips so you will know exactly how far along you will be given a date in the future.
The calculator activity and the (2x4) widget also give display your current trimester.

If it had Transparency My wife would use it.
So the layout would be the same but without the background at all? And add selectable text color?
I can work on that!
Thanks you for this. I'm sure my wife will love this

What wording do you think would work the best for twins?
You could put your girl's names with an and between them for the baby name and uncheck the Word "baby" before name.
That would give you "Meghan and Alice will arrive on....."
Or are you wanting it to say "Twins Meghan and Alice" or "Babies Meghan and Alice"
Updated first post with new features and new screen shot.
2 new widgets (1x1) and (1x2).
Spanish translation.
Bump any new suggestions?
Been a bit since anyone has offered any ideas.
What about other languages?
German f.e.?
Thanks...
Can you translate an English xml to German

Task'd - The Premiere To-Do List For Android™

Task'd is the premiere task manager and to-do list app for Android™ devices. It was designed with the user in mind to be beautiful, functional, and simple. The goal is to help you, the user, better manage your priorities and schedule.
The user interface is intuitive, with clearly marked and recognizable icons. Everything is right at your fingers, not hidden inside some obscure menu or tab. Editing a task is as simple as clicking it in the main list. Want to delete a task? Just long-press it and click delete.
Each task you create must have a name and a priority. Optionally, it can also have a due date and a description containing more details.
You can sort your tasks by priority (default), due date, order added, and alphabetically. You can also change the date format if you use a different standard than the default MM-DD-YYYY.
The full version of Task'd also includes a 4x1 homescreen widget that allows you to see all your tasks, or create a new one.
The free version will always remain one update behind the full version. Currently, it is only lacking the widget. Once the full version receives an update, the free version will get the widget, but not the new features. Bug fixes will still be rolled out as necessary.
Of course, the obligatory screenshots are attached at the end of the post. As for the QR codes with Market links:

Android is a trademark of Google Inc.
Does it sync with google tasks?
Currently no, however sync with Google Tasks and proper Honeycomb support are the next two things on my list.
Really liking the look of this, am constantly on the lookout for a nicer task manager.
I love the simplistic approach and UI. One suggestion might be an option to turn off the custom font? It is pretty funky but a little overwhelming on the eyes when used everywhere..
Also like your idea of keeping the free version one behind the paid, an approach I haven't seen before Looking forward to see what the widget it like, if Im still using this in a couple of days will definitely get the pro version. Cheers!

Thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely add in an option for the custom font. I can't get rid of it everywhere (specifically the buttons) but the option will let you ditch it in the task list and the edit/create screen.
I believe I've only seen the free behind paid model one or two other times, and I really liked it. It lets users see what they're getting in its entirety, yet still give them an incentive to upgrade.
Is there a way to sync between two users? Like myself and my girlfriend are looking for a syncing task list so we can put to-dos for each other without any manual effort.

If you set up Google Tasks sync with the same email account in the app, then they'll sync between devices. You don't need to use the same Google account on the phone itself, or on other devices, only when you set up sync in Task'd. I'll be sure to update this post once I get it updated.

[APP][1.6+] Thousand Clocks Gallery

Hi,
I'm developer of Make Your Clock Widget (http://www.makeyourclock.com). This app is more than year old and last couple of month community around the app created thousands of widgets, some of them are really nice (see screenshots bellow):
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",

}
More screen shots at http://www.makeyourclock.com/press-gallery.html
To promote my app I created non editor version of the application Thousand Clocks Gallery (you can download it for free from https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.hubalek.android.makeyourclock.gallery.pro.
Application is
- free (no ads)
- supports all elements as paid version Make Your Clock Widget (battery, weather, date, time, ...)
Limitations are:
- number of downloads per week is limited
- user needs to be registered to count number of downloads
I would like to ask you for feedback about app. Whether you feel that app is useful, whether is is easy to user (or you had some issues with app or with concept), etc.
Thanks a lot
Tom

I was holding my tongue but I wish you would open the ability to use custom images and fonts over giving away what has already been created. I guess my viewpoint is I think the app would be better if it was more customizable than if others could use my creations easily. The interface on your app is way easier than UCCW, but I have switched due to the ability to mod images, fonts etc.

Thanks a lot your feedback is very valuable.
To be honest: I created Thousand Clocks Gallery to promote widget editor. The issue with the application is currently that development is pretty expensive (as application is getting more and more sophisticated) and to get payback for adding new features I need more users.

That makes sense. I have never made an app so cost never crossed my mind. Your editor ui is far superior to others in your class in my opinion. It was why I bought the app months back. That being said custumibility will get you more paid users. Good luck.

My experience from past four months is unfortunately completely different. Sales of Make Your Clock are still getting lower and lower despite of adding more and more features.
I made Thousand Clocks Gallery to save Make Your Clock from being retired.

You're in the driver seat so I am not in a place to argue. You already have my money, I'm just saying the reason I unistalled your app and am trying uccw is the ability to add my own images and fonts. :beer:
Apology for registration issue
BTW: I want to apologize for the issue you may experienced when registering in first days. Because of extreme interest in app we run out of App Engine email quota and app was not sending registration confirmation emails.
It is solved now and all users (no matter they were affected or not) registered before Tuesday 4/17/2012 will get 100 extra download credits.
BTW: I added new features according your feedback
- you can (re)center your design now
- you can delete design from phone
- you can change clock type from 12 to 24 hours and back
- minor bugs fixed
No registration required from now!
We completely removed registration as users complained to registration process. Now you can use this app without any limits immediately after installation.

[APP][4.1+]Receipt (Updated 19-Apr)

Receipt is a small utility I made as part of my quest to learn programming.
It lets you create shopping lists and see your spending stats.
I'm preparing to release version 1.2 to the play store, but I need to test it for a while to make sure it's bug free.
So now, I'm releasing a beta of version 1.2. Version 1.2 brings a few new features. Among the big ones are :
4.3 and 4.4 compatibility.
A global monthly budget can now be defined; this is in addition to the per list limits already available since version 1.
Tags can now be assigned for each item. This lets you see spending by category in the stats tab.
Lists can now be sent to other people via the standard sharing menu.
If you come across any bugs or strange behavior while testing let me know by posting on this thread or through:
Google+
Twitter
This beta drops support for 4.0 and requires 4.1+. I'm currently having some issues with ICS, but hopefully I'll manage to fix them and restore 4.0 compatibility before releasing the final version.
Get the beta on the Play Store (via Google+), or by downloading the attached apk.
Not ready to test the beta? Get the current version on the play store.

Thanks.
Mulțumesc pentru aplicație, mă bucur să văd aplicații făcute de români!
This is awesome.
Only a few devs(and sadly not the bigger players) comply with Android Design Guidelines nowadays.
I will try the functionality as soon as I flash PAC.
Again, thanks for being a great developer and not rebelling against Android Design Guidelines.
Nice app. Can we get the ability to switch between light and dark themes?
Very nice app !
And looks awesome !
Nice :X
Re: [APP][4.0+]Receipt
Really nice looking, hope I have a budget I must maintain soon so I could give it a go
And may I give an advise/recommend a feature: let the user have a preset tax amount. Since most States here in US (or around the world) have different tax rates... so by the time you get to the checkout everything is added up correctly and kept on budget
Sent from my One X using Tapatalk 2
Really nice app. One thing though Since I'm living in Sweden it would be nice with some more currencies, in my case SEK. Can also help with translation if needed.
Thanks...nice app
Hi, I've tested your app. It's Very good but I missed some features.
First, for every purchase you do, the app should made a Product list in the background with all Products you've ever bought. Maybe depends on Mall. (An extra box for Malls?) So you can calculate how much your purchase will cost.
Second, how about a total amount per Month? How many money do you paid per Month, for example?
And another thing, may i can help you to translate it in German?
Open source?
Impressive. Is it open source? I'd like to contribute to it.
NICE...downloading now. We'll give some feedback in after a couple days usage!
Rich K.
when I changed from euro sign to dollar sign app crushed!
anyway app is looking very nice! looking forward to get new versions!
Awesome app!
Quick question : What library did you used to create the graph?
Found a little bug while doing some stress testing.
I set the budget to 1€, and added two massive values to the receipt.
The result was a negative total, thus not triggering the budget warning.
