note 10.1 is blocked in booting - Galaxy Note 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hello
I have the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 in 8013 16 GO there, exactly.
I intallé anderoid jelly bean 4.1.1 OTA and did not finish the tablet and restart nonstop. I started handling but nothing goes as planned, ODIN said fail Action! and my tablet is in download mode. And when I reboot I have a small andriod man with the percentage bar with the screen that pops by gray bars. suddenly I think I scrub the tablet and I do not really know what
thank you in advance for helping me because odin know my tablet (the tablet comes into download mode and not in recovry mode) it may not complete the installation with the following message:

Re download factory rom and flash again in odin.. . You can also go in the recovery and clear cache and so on.. This will often stop a boot look . But it looks like you have a bad d/load

I'd agree with that.
I find it best to download the roms from Sammobile as they generally provide an MD5 sum you can check to make sure its not a bad download. Especially when using ODIN 4.03/07... ODIN 4.03 does the check before it flashes and ODIN 4.07 checks when the .tar file is selected.

I think it's hang on: "<ID:0/006> NAND Write Start!! "

odin did not finish the installation process about 2 hours and even post thank you for helping me

You need to download the rom again to see if it's not a corrupted copy. Use a PC to download it from sammobile.com.
If the flash file you are using is corrupt you can flash it til this century ends and it won't work...
If it still doesn't get past nand write then I believe you may need a pit file to repartition your internal memory. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS OPERATION. Make sure you have the correct pit file and if possible get it with an MD5 checksum so you know there is nothing wrong with the downloaded file. It MUST be for your device or bricking may occur, it MUST not be corrupted or bricking will occur.
Good luck and remember, you have been warned...

[Q] Samgung Galaxy S2 - Non official ICS Fail attemp installation!

Hi,
This morning I tried to install the ICS on my Samsung Galaxy S2, model GT-I9100G bought in Germany SIM lock free, but the phone is not working any longer. I follow the instructions published on cnet.co.uk. I cannot type links here since I am new, but if you type in Google the following:
How to install ice cream sandwich on samsung galaxy s2, you will find them in the first link.
I used Odin and the "SetupConnection.." got stuck in the same status for 10 min. Therefore, I decided based on some information on the web to pull the usb cable, pull the battery off and try one more time.
I tried to put the phone into download mode one more time, but it was not possible. The phone was just showing something like the following:
Phone icon ... Warning sign (the yellow triangle with the ! inside) ... Computer
Anyhow, I try to install once again the ICS with Odin, but this is what I got:
<ID:0/005> Odin v.3 engine (ID:5)..
<ID:0/005> File analysis..
<ID:0/005> SetupConnection..

Suggestions or is the phone brick? Thank you

Hi,
An update of the issue with my phone.
I found the [GUIDE] Fix an unflashable or soft bricked GSII on:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1457458
I follow step 5 for "NAND rw coruption", I follow step 5 because I was not able to get to Download Mode. I used Odin to flash the kernel proposed by Phistachio, I9100XXKI3. It seems that it works.
<ID:0/007> Odin v.3 engine (ID:7)..
<ID:0/007> File analysis..

<ID:0/007> RES OK !!
<ID:0/007> Removed!!
<ID:0/007> Completed..

After this, it shows a the following: Samsung Galaxy SII GT-I9100G with the yellow warning warning. After this procedure I was able to get into Download Mode. So I proceeded with the thread instructions from steps 1 to 4, using the Recovery Package/ROM proposed Phistachio, I9100XXKI3. However, this time the process did not work.
<ID:0/007> File analysis..
<ID:0/007> SetupConnection..

What could be the next step?
Thank you,
Trukero
there are a different between GT-I9100G and GT-I9100

There isn't any ics ROM for the i9100G so you flashed a i9100 which bricked your phone.you should read in the gs2 section, there's a thread what to do know, just search for it

You can't flash roms from the i9100 because of different chipsets.

Hi everybody.
Thank you for Jahai advice on this thread. I looked deeper into the GS2 forum and I found what he has mentioned and I SOLVED the PROBLEM. My phone is fully operative once again.
Summary:
1.- I Bricked the GT-I9100G since I used a ICS not suitable for my phone. I got the same picture as the website below:
Look in Google under : Repair your bricked Samsung Galaxy S2...
Therefore I was not able to Go in Download Mode.
2.- I used the step 5 from, "NAND rw coruption", proposed by Phistachio, under the following thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1457458
I used the kernel he offered I9100XXKI3. With this procedure, I was able to y get the Download mode again after taking the battery off, and put it back and immediately Volume Down, Home and Power. Only step 5 nothing else.
3.- Then I followed the procedure defined by ToMmY_hun under the thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1448765&highlight=9100g
I have used the pit file as well. I tried without it, and I was not able to flash the firmware successfully. For more information about this step look at the thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1568756&highlight=9100g
By catanzaro27 at 28th March 2012, 10:54 AM.
4.- The phone is working again.
Hope this help.
FIX FOUND!
I had the SAME PROBLEM ! i also tried ics rom ,btw the pit file was for china model got it fixed by getting correct pit file, i can give the lnk for pit file
,and that warning sign - pc was fixed EASILy by flashing kernel through odin without going to download mode ! its fixed just flash a kernel and its fixed

Exactly the same problem.
Thanks a lot for that, going to try it. :good:
Well, that worked. But after flashing another picture provided by the second post(on another thread), a even more serious problem came: Device Bricked Anything helps?
Doesn't even power on(turn on the screen) was it bricked or something else?
Help!!!! What shall I do?
Describe your problem in detail, please!

You must describe what exactly you did before brick the device.
1. Type of your device
2. Are you used my MOD with new picture before brick your device?
3. Did you exactly proceed step by step like I describe in my thread?
4. Was your picture in good size (1280x800 landscape mode and portrait mode 800x1280 according to type of device) ?
5. Picture must have same name, same type (logo.jpg) as is in my MOD!
6. Check your ZIP, if you have good path and structure as in my MOD exactly!
7. If you don't made a mistake and you've kept my proceed, problem is somewhere else.
Try to go to recovery, download my first type MOD and wipe cache, dalvik cache and install ZIP and don't forget reboot back to RECOVERY
and after then use system reboot !!!!! I'm waiting for your answer. Then we will try something else (according to your problem) :good:

You have my answer above, but I see that even POWER ON doesn't work!
Hold POWER more than 30 sec! Then you try go to recovery... If didn't work, hold POWER+VOLUME DOWN and when you see boot logo release
POWER and then VOLUME DOWN. You should be in DOWNLOAD MODE. And then proceed with ODIN software and stock firmware. But I think
that you made mistake when you try put you picture in my MOD in ZIP file.
User jordimra in BOOT LOGO MODDER THREAD has the same problem see:
The picture attached is made by me, but I think it looks like the original Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 logo.
Edit 1: Installed "boot-logo-GT-N8000.zip" and went OK. But if I modify the "logo.jpg" inside with my own one, the device gets stuck on black (logo?) screen, and can't get into recovery.

If you can go to download mode only, you don't need flash entire ROM. Forget tick Nand erase all and in Odin just flash boot.img or sboot.img, you can find here a lot of this file. But img must be Android same version as you have! Then flash sboot.img through PDA in Odin, and everything should be back in normal.:good: Just try it and then send me, how successful you've been :highfive: Regards, Peter
I have to reboot in to Ubuntu to get the tar files ready for flashing. Sadly, I found Odin cannot flash in anything(sboot.bin and boot.img) except the stock bundle and as you can see, i flashed the stock bundle. And your advice made me found another perfect thing on Google that I have always been searching for-- Dual boot
But it still cannot boot. I think I have to tick Nand Erase All to erase the trouble-causing boot picture.
Wish you good luck, Peter. Cheers:highfive:

Are you sure you are flashing correct firmware and the latest version?
Yes, I'm trying to flash G930TUVS2APB8
Should I only do "AP"? Or try all four files?
What do I do in the CSC field? Load the CSC or HOME_CSC file?
Should I try the special Odin by PrinceComsy or 3.11?

This is what shows up on Odin
Fixed the problem!!! thanks
What was the solution? I'm having this issue as well
Try going into recovery and factory reset(wipe data)
It got fixed by using my pc rather than my laptop (had same drivers installed so no idea)
Also downloaded the absolute latest firmware from sammobile and latest Odin
Hope you can fix your problem man.
Note: if it doesnt let you flash stock I read that it may be because you're trying to flash something older, by default you cannot downgrade on s7

you are trying to install a old android version your bootloader have 3. security patch so you have to install a 3th security firmware please try a newer firmware or try smart switch maybe it works
I tried the smart switch emergency repair and after loading successfully it's reboots and stay in the logo screen
