Hey guys. I recently bought a Chinese android phone . But it has a strange problem. It doesn't read the aircel or aircel simcard. It does read a Vodafone simcard but cannot make phone calls. neither can i send or receive mssg. Can anyone help ?
just contact the company, you still have the guarantee, don't you, they should help you with this....

I´ve just arrived to Tokyo, and I got this SOFTBANK simcard from my friend. I really like my X10 and I would like to use it. The problem is that I can call from it, but i cant send SMS or Email. This is because they want you to buy a phone from SOFTBANK. So their simcards only work with SOFTBANKS phones. However, I guess that you can fix this, I am not that good at this thats why I am asking all you guys for help.
Is there some way that you can fool the simcard that my phone is a SOFTBank phone, and the other problem I have is that my computer is a Mac. So is this stil possible?

I' ve got an issue with a chinese phone "Huawei U8950D Ascend G600".
I can't use the sim's network: when i turn on the phone, it reveal the sims just for 2 seconds.
I think the problem is with this program named "qq security" but it's writed in chinese, so i can't understand the use.

I have the same problem in the UK with O2 simcard.
i think you have to root your phone to get ride of Chinese apps, there are few guys on ebay offering rooting service check the item # 190779462516

SigmaKey no longer works over network, so you need someone local.
A lot of cellphone repair shops have them.

Hi have bought a Verizon phone from the USA and need to remove the Verizon lock so I can received incomming calls .I live in the UK. I can make calls and that's it.this is the second phone from the USA and can't be arsed sending it back .help .save more postage.

hey guys im quite new to this forum and im seeking some advice.
I bought a 2nd Samsung galaxy s6 off gumtree used it for afew months and today my s6 says emergency calls only and it says not registered on a network however the internet connectivity still works(browsing,email,whatsapp etc) but cant make any calls or send any sms. I've tried contacting the previous owner and no luck in getting a response. I assume the imei is block, is their any way i can fix this? i am from South Africa. Out of 4 networks in south africa i can only get data connection from one
any help would be highly appreciated

It was also my first guess that your imei is probably used by someone else.
I saw something similar in turkey, where you have to register your smartphone on your name in the national communication office, to be able to use it completely free, or otherwise your sim gets blocked for that specific imei. And the registration costs about 200 euros i guess ( not sure ) .. so people transfered imei numbers from already activated smartphones or (notlegal!) other devices with stolen imei (/notlegal!)
I don't want to give you bad advice but as far as i know, it doesn't look that well for you.....
Their a guy on Facebook that can unblacklist my s6 but for $80 US but considering the rand to dollor is so weak, it will just be very expensive.
