[Q] Problems after flashing n8000 (booting but screen is only BLACK)

hi guys, can somebody help me to solve my problem when I flash my websong n8000 (same like star n8000).
what I've done doesn't meet any success.
I've try to flashing whole rom that can be found in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1695210&page=1
and i also have change the display setting using SPMDT but it didn't work
my screen still black but it is booting and the touch screen is also working.
Help me guys.

Display Contrller problem for N8000
Me Too. I got this phone with a July 27 version.
I did not want it since the internal 2GB cannot be used with App2SD.
Flashed with July 5 firmware using SPMDT and was able to succesfuly downgrade.
But now screen is totally wrong colors. Mostly black, but still able to see the UI, just that no colors. Just black and pink.
I hope somebody helps us in this thread since we cannot post in the official N8000 thread if we are a new user.

Hi, I have this Star N8000 and been doing help videos on youtube over the last 2 weeks. I was able to put apps on the 2GB by going to Settings->App->and I select (Move to USB Storage). I have a 32 GB micro sd card. with my media installed. I moved as many apps off the 512 that I don't need as it will slow the phone down. As for you guys issues, I would recommend not flashing any rom on the device. There is just not enough info to properly identify it. You can either go by led flash position. The Haipai version is the same internal and for some reason its more easy to identify but its running the same MTK 6575 Single Core 1 ghz processor as the Star N8000. The Roms are optimized for the extra screen size so that explains it.

You didn't ubderstand me.
Of will work for you because you are moving it to your external sd card (32GB). But I don't want that. I want to move it to the internal sd card (2GB), so I can have a lot of apps even of I don't have any external card installed.
This version can't do that. If I do not put am external card, the move to USB storage is greyed-out in the app settings. It means it cannot detect the internal card as an installable partition.
Anyways, I was able to fix it after finding out that there is a different display driver from a uboot.img of a different firmware, that I need to flash.
Jul 5 version is still the best l, in my opinion.

Me too, I also faced this problem after flashed star n8000, I flashed 2 firmwares of Feb 16 and Jul 5. My phone display is black and pink, still can see the UI and touch's work. Anyone know this, pls help. I really appreciate, thanks in advance.

The SP Flash Tool v3 tool is very simple and I got along with him ... But the second tool really not sure what to do.

EBay seller does not know anything and said this device is not supported
he sent me this file e1808_v75_jbl2-ota-user.root but it cannot be used by the SP Flash Tool v3 (scatter file cannot be chosen)
It seems to me that this file should install in different way (maby i ned to conect the phone as mass storge and put this file in the root near the download/music/video folders and after to boot with some Buttons trikes??)

Now Since We Know The QMobile Noir A2 A Cheap Good Spec Phone Usually Found In Pakistan Is A Great Phone For The Price Tag. But The Thing That The Phone Lacks Is The Matter Of Fact That The Internal Memory Of The Phone Which Is Very Low. Even Compared To The Galaxy Ace Which Has The Internal Memory Of 290 MB, The A2 Only Have 235 MB Of Space. The Space Of The Phone Is Actually Mainly Taken By The System Apps The Phone Have By Default. After Installing Some Apps While We Actually Get About 90 MB To Download And Install On The Internal Memory And Some Apps Do Not Install On The Memory Card For Eg. Google Services , Fring Etc. With This Hack You Can Actually Move Almost All The Downloaded Apps To Your Memory Card WithOut Root. 11.there will be 3 option automatic , internal , external
12.your phone by default would be on automatic change that and select external
13.once you have done this exit ur setting app and restart or reboot ur phone
14.after rebooting again head to ur setting app and open it
15.u will notice that u r back to ur stock setting app
16.now open the application menu and there head to manage apps and go to on sd card u will see that almost all of ur downloaded
apps r now movable to ur sd card

hello dear i tried your method and after extracting file and sending to my sd card i tried to install those file but files could not be installed and i get the message application not installed please help

hi well i think u got the updated NOIR A2 well this hack works on the old model with the June 21 kernel u can check urs by going to setting then to about phone there in the kernel version u can see whether u have the June 21 kernel or the updated one

Mine is kernel 2.6.35.7 oct 19

Ur Phone has the updated kernel, there is an option in ur phone in settings>application> there should be an option to install the apps on ur sd card its has to option internal and external choose external for more space and also move all of the apps which are moveable to ur sd card

but i can. Actually what happened is i had touch problem in my phone and i visited customer care they said its software problem and reinstalled software but touch problem persist so they change touch pad and then it was magic i saw applications preinstalled by q . I moved sawan opera etc to sd card and uninstalled pdf go and yahoo which could not be moved to sd card. I checked my phone with root checker it was not rooted

okay but this hack only works with the june kernel

yes all u have to do is factory reset ur phone or u can again install the both apk file and in the setting instead of external choose automatic option that should erase the hack

Bro, i hope you known that NOIR hasn't made any update yet. so there is no chance to get phone update. might this hack would works fine with 0.65 mhz (the old release) phone; not with the 1Ghz

hey there i am not talking about the android version of NOIR A2 being updated well we all know it runs gingerbread i am talking about the kernal and the software well there are two NOIR , the one being sold in early june (last year) and the other in late october they are a little change in the software and kernal also they both are 1ghz and this hack works with the 1ghz version the 650mhz is actually NOIR A5

[Q] Problem with rataplan final

yesterday i have installed the custom rom Rataplan Final on my nokia lumia 710 which is bya the way great,
but there is a little problem the apps and games i used to have earlier are not available now.
such as
1) sweet crush [cant find in market place]
2) whatsapp[most important ] i found it via whatsapp website but it says the os is not upto date and hence the application is not availabe to this device. earlier this kind of notification showd up when i try to install the aap for wp8 ,
i even tried to side load the but there also the same "invalid xap".
3) My Free App
Now i tried to roll back to original rom by downloading the original rom using nokia data package manager,
according to the following post

but it gives error while entering the flash mode.

Bro...you have done a great job. I'm not discouraging your work. But I installed this Rom in my phone and I had some problems. This Rom is good for those people who use It for minimal use of phone. I'll list out the bugs. Please check it out.
1. IMEI problem as u sorted out is not solved by your methods.
2. Main problem is internal storage. Internal storage becomes 6 mb !!
3.after installing xposed, home key is not working.
4. Notification bar and shortcuts in shortcut bar which is dragged from bottom of the screen is not working after xposed installation.
5. system, cache and data are unmounted after format and if you format internal storage same thing happens.And finally we get the problem, OS not installed.

I used this for mor than a week and i din encountered any of 3,4,5. But sum of xposed module will not work with this rom like gravitybox. Internal storage is 6mb cuz ol tht memory is kept for apps and ol. Its doesn't create any isssue. And regarding imei u can see the screenshots. They r of q380 with full network. And methods are described. So may be u did smthng wrong while restoring.

Before flashing, i forgot to do this:-GO TO ROOT FOLDER ---:>data--->nvram---->MD-->NVRAM--->NVD_IMEI--->MP0B_001
And now i have lost my imei. I restored it via Engg Mode but you know that it is temporary.
Your help is appreciated. If possible can you post/send me that file if u dont hav any issue and the procedure to restore my imei (permanent)? TIA.

8--in app tap on (choose swap directory) then just tap on select and then tap on save nd it will ask super su permission, grant it,it will now creat a swap file on ur internal sd card, it may take 5 minutes to create it,
9--its all done

oh thats a serious prob. u cant take backup of ur apps n data from recovery bkz ur data pariion is curupt, u can take backup of data n apps using titanium backup app, rest u have to to take backup using cuosom backup option from recovery, there u hv to remove tick from data n then take backup

thanx for the info, sensors are fixed (only 2 left to fix), menu lags bkz of its background services wich will run till device is fully synchronise then it will not lag n yes. dont forget to activate swapper,Patch will be release soon

@op , I have sucessfully installed miui 7. First I have installed stock kitkat. then phil touch. no problem to backup and format with stock kitkat and phil touch. then installed also miui 7 and patch. thank you. I think phil touch have a problem with lolipop.
