Hi everyone,
I got pico. Unexpectedly made wrong pattern and phone needs to mail and paswords. I dont have mail so null or any other options doesnot work. I try to use setting.db but phone doesnot connect to debuging mode. How to enable it via SDK ?
Thanks,

Go to Settings>Applications>Development and make sure USB debugging is enabled first...

I'm not sure what you are trying to do, but............. try with this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1646108
Also I don't remember if you are using fastboot option from hboot menu, maybe there was no need debbuging to be enabled, not sure about that, I always enable debbuging.
Another option is to do factory reset.

Thanks for replies.
My phone locked because of wrong attemp of keylock pattern. Need gmail account and password to open phone. I tried answered call but no solution.
I have to connect phone via ANdroid SDK than changing the setting.db value. After this changeing i can use my phone again without any data disappear.
I donot know using SDK but i see the how to do the chaning setting.db. I only need how to check USB Debuging mode.
Also what is fastboot option? I see the menu that was fastboot and recovery or factory reset selections. But i need my datas.

Are you rooted?
If you're make a nandroid backup first. I'm not sure you can use adb to bypass security.
If it's possible, I think it should go something like this
Insert into secure (provisional, 0)
Sorry messing up

Just a alternate options:
Before a factory reset, make a nandroid backup .
You can extract data from it after you do a reset

Take two to three nandroids just in case.. keep one in your PC. ~check size of nandroids to make sure you have all data (just by your memory )
There are apps to extract data from nandroids
~nandroid manager here in xda
~app extractor

Option 1(easy but I do not recommend it): Settings ->account & sync ->Menage accounts -> click your google account-> delete it.
Option 2. Enter in CWM. Hard reset your phone. All data will be gone.
Only in ICS you can delete the primary account.
In others version of Android you have to restore the phone.
Settings-Privacy-Factory Data Reset.
You can use Root explorer to delete the file "account.db" in : /data/system. Then reboot.

My phone was frozen?!?

My HTC VilleC2 was unlocked bootloader, using rom cook JB 4.1 and has flashed SuperSU.zip. But when I use Titanium Backup to uninstall a few apps aren't used in the system such as Google+, Stock, FriendStream, ... it's ok, but when I restarting the phone everything returns to original, the apps wasn't uninstall. But some apps I don't uninstall that only Freeze then when I reboot the phone, it's fine, it's still frozen. I also use Root Explorer to delete some audio files in Notification, Ringtone, Alarm directories... but when I rebooting the phone, everything back to original. Does anyone know what that is the cause? Pls help!!!
P/s: Sorry for my bad english
i remember some talk of deletions not taking, forget where and why. maybe google/search
we have plenty of system memory, just reflash rom with full wipe to include system and don't delete anything

[Q] My HTC Explorer is Locked

I enabled 2 step verification and generated a application specific password and I used it in my android gmail app. Now my phone is locked for too many pattern attempts and asking for gmail login.
My phone remembered the application specific password. Now I am unable to sign in using the original password. The only way to unlock the phone is to know the application password I used it... How to know the application password I previously used?
1.My volume button also damaged and even cant hard reset the phone.
2.Unable to connect to PC using the USB.. The phone is only charging when connected.
(Not Enabled USB Debugging)
3.Tried calling from another mobile to access menu and change password.. But unable to access the menu..
4. Tried generating more application specific passwords in gmail and used them. But nothing worked
5. I have gone to phone repair shops, they are demanding too much money.. BUT THEY CAN DO! How do they it.. They do it in 5 minutes
Still are there any solutions. My phone is HTC EXPLORER. (I am in India)
Is your phone rooted ? If yes flash the Rom by gamersab.

Stuck in a boot loop after changing app permissions

I posted this in the Nexus 7 section, but this can apply to all AOKP based ROMs that have the "Permissions Manager" option.
Running SmoothROM with 4.2.2 (I think) and I was messing with the "Permissions Manager" settings under "Settings". I turned off several permissions on Facebook, such as SMS view/sender and location on it as well on some other apps. I then rebooted the tablet and now I'm stuck on a boot loop. I don't get how because these aren't system apps, so I don't think it should affect the system booting up at all. Sadly I didn't make a nandroid backup before doing this, since I thought the worse that could happen would be the apps force closing which is easily fixed. Since I didn't make a backup I rather try things that wouldn't make me lose any data.
I can get into recovery (TWRP) and have already made a backup of the current boot looping state. I have already tried deleting cache and dalvik-cache and still won't boot.
I have an idea: Turning the "Permission Management" setting to "Off" would make the apps have their default permissions. I would have to get into /data/data/com.Android.Settings and find the "Permissions Management" setting and set it to "false" or "off" through ADB. So I would have to pull the file and push the edited file back through fast boot or recovery. Anyone think this would work??
FWIW: I updated the kernel (Franco) with his franco.Kernel app 1 reboot ago, but it rebooted fine, not sure if it could be the kernel that has me in this bootloop?

Thanks for the reply.
I'm not talking about .apk or file permissions. I'm talking about permissions apps request, such as location, internet access, billing, reading contacts, etc. That's something the "Fix permissions" option in recovery mode has nothing to do with.

Im sorry but it sounds like if this issue cant be resolved you might need to reset youre phone but try to go into recovery mode and mess around and see if you can find anything that has to do with booting, good luck and ohh one more thing if all else fails in recovery mode try and find the wipe cache partition option and proceed to that ^.^ :good::good::good:
If you have the backup file you can try to reflash the rom

How to disable Encryption
To disable encryption you need see to that you comply with the following things:
a) Your battery must be fully charged to a 100%.
b) You must have an android phone
c) Brains.exe (Kidding! Patience)
Since, you did not tell me your model so I am considering that it is Android
Step 1: Backup your data (If you know to decryption key )
You can do this by installing TrustGo antivirus from the Play Store, Its Free and Legal! and sign up for an account
Step 2: Use someone's WiFi or your Internet Connection to Back Up the Data
Step 3: Check the Data on the TrustGo Website (Only Contacts and Messages will be backed up)
Step 4: Use your Google Drive to back up your data (15 GB of Free Space should do it)
Step 5: Factory Reset your phone (Hard is recommended)
Step 6: Restore Data (TrustGo) by installing the app and signing in and restore
Step 7: Restore Data from Google Drive
Step 8: Volla!
Thank you .. i want to try it now
